The Legend
Legend says that every 100 years, a Necromancer surge occurs in attempt to conquer the land. Necromancer surges are events that occur when the most powerful necromancers of the land come together to raise the dead. The risen turn into an seemingly unstoppable swarm that flood the lands, killing all in there way. They undead were easy to kill when in small groups, but that was almost never the case. As guards are swarmed by the Risen Legions, a fated few rise to fight them. They are the Fated Ones. These people contain what is called a Spirit Beast. A Spirit Beast is the spirit form of a powerful animal that gives it's host special abilities. The Fated Ones have to use these abilities to combat and defeat the Risen and end the Surge. As the Necromancer Surge returns, so will the Spirit Beasts. The question is, who will they choose?

Welcome to the Fated Ones. This RP will be focused on a group of 5-7 people who have been chosen by Spirit Beasts to fight the Risen Horde. It will be set in medieval times. If you have any questions feel free to ask below, I understand that it's a little rough around the edges.

Not an enemy necromancer, though you can play as one but they wont receive benefits from a Spirit Beast. A necromancer's body is too dark to house one

Really, anything. Preferably mammalian though.

Loving the idea! I'd love to be a part of this roleplay. Just a few questions: Is an elephant okay?(Just trying to add a bit of diversity.) and exactly what is the minimum writing amount per post?

The way Spirit Beasts work is that they give their host a strength or ability relating to the animal. So if you could find an ability the elephant would give your character, than yes. All info for characters will be on the upcoming CS. Post length will be a minimum of a paragraph (5 good sentences) a post.
