Since the days of old, human beings have always been preyed upon by those creatures that dwell within the world in the shadows. For century's mankind were helpless to the might of the creatures of the night, and it seemed these dark forces may reign forever. Demons, vampires, wraiths, and other fearsome monsters plagued the human realm, at least most of them were. Humanity was on the brink of destruction until the intervention of the a clan of warriors comprised of the most skilled fighters, tacticians, inventors, and magic users from everywhere around the globes came together with the purpose of hunting and destroying the creatures of the supernatural that would cause humanity harm. As the centuries passed this clan of warriors became an organization known as The Slayers, a group of men and women dedicated to hunting the supernatural creatures that harmed humans.
Centuries have passed since the founding of The Slayers, and their existence is necessary to keep the human race safe. A experienced Slayer by the name of Mathias Blackwell is one of the organizations top Slayers and has given half his life to the order. Mathias adopts a group of children and trained them in the ways of a Slayer in order to carry on his legacy. Now the kids are in High school and must deal with hunting creatures of the occult as well dealing with the trials of everyday High school life.

Well hello there. I'm Jams and this is a roleplay I used to participate in a long time ago and I am hoping to get it up and running here. As you can see, I have the first act sort of planned out and hopefully, if things go well, I will be able to roll out the other stuff I have planned. This is a fantasy roleplay set in the modern era, so guns cars and the like do exist. I am pretty flexible on posting length and I prefer quality over quantity, while I don't want any one liners, I don't need to read a whole novel of text. A simple paragraph that makes sense and adds to the story is fine. We will be using magical weapons, which means you can give them any type of magical ability you want as long as it's not too overpowered. I will not be accepting non-humans (DO NOT ASK) and I will not be accepting mages or witches at this time.
as far as posting goes, I'm looking for a post a week, possibly two weeks. I understand life gets in the way, so if you need more time, just say so. I am looking for about five or six people, first come first serve. With all that out of the way, if you're interested and you've read all of my rambling drop a message. Hope to get this thing up and running

ACT 1
Carrying on a normal life will be difficult as recent events have begun to make circumstances dire. Along with mages, wizards, witches, and other magic users are starting to disappear, there has been talk of an extremely powerful mage being targeted by a shadow group in hopes of stealing their power. Their motives are unknown and they have been getting bolder in their attempts with a recent attack on a slayer compound. The slayer organization has deemed it necessary to try and hide them from the assailants by hiding her amongst one of the various slayers in the organization while they deal with the disappearance of magic users.
