Annabelle sighed as she heard the car pull away they hadn't even asked her if she would like to come. She put down her sketch pad and went downstairs to the kitchen to get some food she then called Anya and told her she was going out.


Annabelle went to the bikeshed and got out her baby blue bike she mounted it and rode three blocks towards the animal shelter she pulled on her uniform and went towards the stables and began to muck out their beds
 
Jeremy looked at his oldest daughter. "Abigail. It's been a while. A little over two years, and you weren't at the funeral." He looked at Paul then back at Abigail. He walked up to her and hugged her.

Abigail nods she bit her bottom lip. "I am sorry I couldn't. "She said. She hugged him back her arms wrapped her father. She stepped away and wiped her eye's.She stepped over to Paul."Dad this is paul my boyfriend. "Abigail said to he father.

Paul shook Jeremy's hand and smiled, "Mr.Grayson is an honor to meet you, sir." Paul had a pretty firm hand shake, and he pulled his hand back to grab the bags for him and Abigail.
 
Anya smiles. "Come on love lets get them back to the house. "Anya said.She smiles and walks with Abigail talking a mile a minute. Abigail looked at Paul giving him a I am sorry look.

Jeremy let go of his hand. He had a good handshake, so far so good. He walked over and picked up one of Abigail's bag. He followed them back to the car.
 
Abigail sat in the back silently. Abigail huffed and looked at Paul.She felt like she was sixteen again.Abigail leaned into Paul and sighed. "So Abigail how is being ADA." Anya says to clear the tension. "Busy a lot of work."Abigail says. Her phone wwnt iff and she looked at it with a sigh."yeah never ends even on vacation. Paul rubbed Abigal's shoulder, "Bruce is covering down for me, why dont you call Carl, isn't he supposed to be your partner?" He looked at her for a moment, "We're only gonna be gone for the weekend so he should be good to go for 4 days."
 
Abigail nods and kissed his cheek. "You're the best love. "She winked at him and called them."ADA Grayson. "She sighed "yes, you can charge him with that if you got the confession with out laying a finger on him. If not find more evidence. Paul holds her hand as they walk around the house, "So does this mean I'll have to sneak into your room through the window?" He grinned and squeezed her hand gently.
 
Jeremy looked at Anya and held her hand. "Abigail is a responsible young woman. And she learned how to be a responsible person from me." He looked over at Paul with a Don't think about it face.
 
Abigail kissed his cheek."just wait till lights out. "She said in his ear.She walked inside with him she made a face at it and sighed. She showed him the kitchen, the front room, then the back and the living room. Abigail held his hand and walked upstairs to her room."well this is my room.hasn't changed much since I left. Like time has stood still."Abigail says and puts her coat on a chair.Abigail turned to Paul and pulled him close and smiles.


Anya sighed and looked at her husband. "Yes I know but still had to say it love.come on lets get there bags inside."She winks at him.

Abigail wrapped around his neck and kissed him happily. She hadn't spent much time with him lately. Abigail smiles and pulled him closer to her.


Anya helps him and brings the bags inside. She sighed and locked her car.Anya looked around and sighed."bring them up or wait for Abigail and Paul."She said. "How about some white wine as well."She asks Jeremy.
