That's just a simple template. You can organize it any way you want. Make it as pretty or as simple as you want. However, these will be the information I'll be looking at when I review your character. Games of thrones is incredibly diverse when it comes to character creation. Making a character that can participate in the game (of thrones), or at least influence it in some manner, is preferred, but I'll help tie your character into the game no matter whether you choose to create a lord of large land or a whore of Volantis.

Here are the major houses:
  • False Targaryens of King's Landing (gm claimed).
  • Stark of Winterfell (claimed)
  • Lannister of Casterly Rock (sort of claimed)
  • Arryn of the Eyrie.
  • Tully of Riverrun.
  • Greyjoy of Pyke (claimed)
  • Baratheon of Storm's End (claimed)
  • Tyrell of Highgarden.
If you wish to make a member of any of the claimed houses, tag the person that claimed them. There are no limits on character creation. The more characters you create for the rp, the more this AU Game of thrones world/lore is expanded on.

WIP tell me if anything breaks lore or is too OP I did some research as to the actual Tarlys to give me a basis.

Rafen Tarly
Name:
Rafen Tarly

Appearance
In Peace
images (18).jpeg
On the march
images (17).jpeg
Titles:
Lord of Hornhill, General Tarly and Lord Tarly

Age:
28

Gender:
Male

Personality:
A very friendly man and not afraid of speaking to those below him as if they were equals. He's also a stickler for the rules always willing to bend them but never break them. He's also the exemplar of what every general should be.
His men would describe him as a harsh task master. His word is law and those who knowingly disobey are punished and humiliated. It's not uncommon for those who suffer punishment to go home in shame.
Those who have fought for years for him point out these simple truths. His men fight no harder then him. He marches on foot with them in full armor like he asks of them. He eats the same portions as them, and his tent fit for a man of lesser rank.
He is very compassionate to his "Long War Veterans" making sure they are well cared for. While he has a sympathetic ear to his men's woes he is left devastated if he lacks the tools to act and help his men.
Soft spoken and a natural leader, Rafen struggles with his own self esteem. The morality of his decisions, and the heir to the iron throne. Honor and duty bound Rafen still has hope the issue can be resolved peacefully.

Background:
Born to a house feared to go extinct once again, Rafen grew up without a father and his mother died in child birth. His father wounded in battle teetering on the edge if death. The house steward Kekoguard feared for his young lords life decided to send the young lord to the Targaryens/Starks (dependent on who is willing to take him if anyone for lore purposes) he was named after an ancient Essosi hero who killed his own brother in order to save a city.
He was raised a somber, quiet and timid child. His father never returned home grief stricken that his wife died alone. Rafen would go on to be a decent student but a great swordsman. Fighting was his way to be closer to the father he believed would send for him if he was a good enough warrior or leader. This left his pursuits leading to only war.
At 12 years his father died leaving him to return to Hornhill. He was a natural leader and while never a great student man he was well versed in history and arithmetic. He was able to keep the house together and prosper with Kekoguard at his side ever ready to help. Rafen continued his training in the use of Heartsbane.
At 19 House Targaryen requested The Reach to send more resources to help in the war. Rafen stood before anyone could even speak and swore 2,000 men 500 cavalry and he himself would lead these men to help the war effort. This led to the embarrassment of the Tyrells, and the added prestige to House Tarly.
Since then, Rafen has fought over in Essos. While he insures men only serve for a year unless they reup, he continues the campaign. Whenever he returns to Westeros he insures his men don't fight. This has caused him to currently lead an army of 4,000 men and 1,000 horsemen who are called "The Veterans of the Long War"
Rafen is famous in Essos as one of the most able commanders. While he wages a violent campaign. He does show some mercy in accordance to his goes culture rather then Westerosi culture.
He has slain Khals, Unsullied and various champions. He has fought in sieges, skirmishes and surprise attacks, yet his men nor himself have been broken.
His men love him, and those wounded or disabled from the war. He tries his best to care for them and when he returns home. He visits his men all who swear they are fit for duty despite missing limbs. Rafen will frequently laugh and say give it another year. These wounded warriors tend to take up jobs as guards or watch men if they are still intact. Those missing limbs Rafen places in charge of the monthly drills.

Profession:
Rafen is currently a General for House Targaryen fighting in Essos. He has recently returned to Westeros with his men for a year to rest and recover.

Ambitions:
To fulfill the Tarly oaths

Strengths/Skills:
Untraditional Military Commander-
He has fought unsullied, Khals and all manner of sell sword companies in Essos. He has won many battles through out smarting, out flanking or using untraditional tactics to win.
Talented Swordsman-
winning his fair share of duels, fights and sword tourneys not the best fighter. Those he spars against calls him a deadly viper. Deflecting blows, dodging and striking his foes at the best opportunity. This has served him well in Essos being light on his feet.
Great logistician-
The War in Essos is a hard one. Bringing many towns, cities and forts under Westeros control doesn't guarantee resupply. Rafen is famous for never leaving his army hungry with his men carrying a weeks food on their backs. Creation of ingenious supply chains.

Weakness/Failings:
Court-
He lacks a lit of basic knowledge for court causing social embarrassment or unable to produce the results required of him.
Reputation-
A renown general has its perks. Unfortunately for Rafen, he wages war at a total scale. Those in court and in Essos see him nothing more than a warmongering animal who will put towns to the torch.
Essosi-
Having spent so much time in Essos, Westerosi people some in Tarly lands too have called into question how Westerosi the young wardog is.
Unknightly-
Despite never becoming a knight, many of his political foes point out his unknightly like actions.

Fears:
Rafen has the fear of deep waters and heights

Relationships:
He has yet to marry mostly due to him being war.

Arkio is Rafen's younger brother who somewhat keeps the house in order but is often raising levies for border skirmishes, bandits and other domestic warfare.

Javon and Koris are his most trusted friends who each serve as sub commanders in his army.

His foster family he is close with

His army love him

His serfs are indifferent to him

Kekoguard is almost like a father to him

"The Veterans of the Long War"

Well organized, well armed and well trained. This Tarly force is one of the few standing professional armies. Many of the footmen wear only chain mail and helmet leaving everything below their waist unprotected. While they do have the ability to wear additional plate. Many decide not to due to the hot Essosi weather.
On average, the men have fought for half a decade winning many battles and accolades.

Side Character Arkio
Name:
Arkio Tarly

Titles:
Ser Arkio, Marcher Lord Arkio and Arkio the Faithful

House:
House Tarly

Age:
28

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
images (19).jpeg

Personality:
Seen as quiet and polite, the truth is Arkio is a shy man. The picture of nobility and the personality of a noble. He is suave in his words and kind in his actions.
He is called the faithful for he follows the faith of the seven strongly. He tries his best to meet the expectation of the Father, warrior and mother.

Background:
The twin of Rafen. Arkio was born seconds after Rafen. He was raised in Hornhill. Kekoguard deemed Arkio not as important and a lure for any wannabe assassins. Arkio grew up being the best in all he did.
He was educated in all ways. Cultured, sophisticated and noble in all deeds. Arkio is frequently assumed to be the hier of Hornhill.
When his brother Rafen returned to Hornhill. Arkio found that his brother surpassed him in swordplay, leadership and battle tactics.
While Rafen went out to fight in Essos, Arkio stayed back and insured Rafen was well supplied, armed and reinforced. The Tarlys were one of the Marcher Lords and Arkio eventually found himself fighting and raising levies of his own.
A great general in his own right. Arkio has dreams of ruling his own lands and leaving his brothers long shadow.

Profession:
Noble, General and "Steward of Hornhill"

Ambitions:
To rule and have lands of his own

Strengths/Skills:
A great general-
Well learned in Westerosi warfare. He is a genius in the use of shock Infantry and heavy cavalry.
Political/ Courtly actions-
A well liked and mannered individual. He gets what he wants in court or give little for what he messes up in. Not a political genius he keeps Hornhill's trade alive and well.
A talented duelist-
Arkio has won many a duel. Infamous for his mace and shield. Many great knights have challenged Arkio to only be met with a brutal defeat.

Weakness/Failings:
Morals
Ironically the great reputation he has attained has led to his downfall. He has lost many foes due to being unwilling to use dishonorable tactics.

Landless
A second son Arkio has no true land or influence outside of the power he technically has for protecting his brothers estate.

Fears:
Never fulfilling his dreams and living in his brothers shadow.

Relationships:
Rafen- twin
The faith of the seven- he is well loved and often pointed out as an exemplar of the faith.
Venn'dar and Shaar are ex-Essosi warriors who fought with Rafen who are now Arkio's sworn swords and most trusted captains under him.

Black Company
Those criminals found too dangerous to society that once would've been the ideal Night's Watch recruit Arkio presses them into service. Deadly shock troops that Arkio recruits with the idea of absolving their sins through war. These warriors are unbreakable in the pursuit of redemption. Numbering around 2,000 many across the realms join as Arkio also offers protection from their pursuers. Many see this as a religious oddity and a good way to make their criminals disappear. Arkio's charisma helps him keep the men in line and believe in the righteous cause to redemption.

All their gear and weapons are focused on the offense. In stark contrast to Rafen heavy infantrymen.
Outside of battle, they are forced to work towards the betterment of human society. They create roads, hunt bandits and guard religious buildings.

House Tarly
House:
Tarly

Sigil-
it's still the same huntsman only changed colors to black and white. This is to remind the family of their Patriarch Samwell Tarly and the nights watch.

Motto- "First into Battle"

House History:
After the defeat of the white walkers and the death of Randyll and Dickon Tarly at the hands of House Targaryen. The house was at risk of extinction. Samwell Tarly did join the Maesters and was bound by 2 oaths to not return to House Tarly as its lord. The secret now revealed brings into question why Arya Stark would release Samwell Tarly from his oaths and become Lord of Hornhill. Fortunately, this saved the house.
The House since then has served the restored House Targaryen faithfully as Great Generals and warriors but also as wise counselors. They are the first to the defense of the uniting of the two continents. Generations have fought in Essos and many more will hopefully continue to serve.
The house is steeped in tradition. They never forget the wall, and the oaths seeing that the house was never truly released from them as they continue to protect the realms of men from those who wish to harm it. The Tarly's also have an unofficial policy of asking the Starks in Winterfell to foster their children or personally coming to Winterfell whenever a new heir is born to also pay tribute to their first true friends.
House Tarly were never informed if Jon Snow had a child. They still to this day sing a song or tell a story of the great friendship between Jon Snow and Samwell Tarly. Every year free of charge. The Tarly's send a percentage of their grain to the north to show the Tarly's also remember.
Samwell the Wise was also brought about great reforms for the house. Prisoners and such were forced into service like the Night's Watch. The martial tradition of the Tarly's strengthened.
It wasn't until his son Aren the True an ambitious lord, the Tarlys would go to war in Essos and reorganize their forces to provide a standing expeditionary force for the Targaryens.
Recently, the news of a descendant of Jon Snow has caused the Tarlys to review their proud service to the throne. It's only due to Rafen's stance that the throne has been good for 100 years and there was no concrete evidence that the Tarlys have not made any bold moves to support the Snow Heiress.

Samwell the Patriarch
After the Second War of the Long Night, Samwell Tarly reclaimed Hornhill as its lord. Many did not recognize the man. Samwell no long possessed the large fatty body. He was reduced to half the man he was.

He also returned with a child but without a lady. Rumors claimed he adopted the boy, others a base born boy and a few even claimed it was from a wildling.

Samwell Tarly would bring about a golden age for Hornhill. Often called the Lord of Paperhill, he enacted reforms to rebuild lost infrastructure, introduce new crop rotation, new smithing techniques, the improvement of the monthly levy drills and a valued advisor for the queen. Samwell Tarly's reign is often bickered over as his son came to age Samwell Tarly remained the Lord, but he frequently left more and more Lordly duties until his eventual death. He lived to see his granddaughter born and cherished her.

He never married. It was said he kept a garden of various beautiful gillyflowers. Everyday he would tend to them in a quiet somber mood. He would only father one son Samwell the Wise.

Samwell the Wise-
Growing up under the shadow of his father, Samwell the Wise inherited a fine education with the beginnings of a strong infrastructure. While his father reformed the economy of Hornhill, Samwell the wise won tourney after tourney and reformed the military.

The soldiers of Hornhill were forever changed. Winters were spent drilling ruthlessly playing wargames. Knights were replaced with heavy horsemen. Men organized into sword lines and swordlines formed banners and banners into a flank.

A levy was standardized with the 2nd son levied along with any other son born afterward. All daughters were also "levied" forced to work 3 hours a day to create war materials outside their normal labors. Those levied but too young were left behind were to tend the farms or were decided unfit for the levy would be formed into worker groups to work large swathes of fields left unattended.

All his levy were issued a sword and shield. His house able to afford these costs due to its growing economy, innovative logistical management and the combined mines of Samwell the Patriarch and Samwell the Wise.

Samwell the Wise would gain his title through solving problems. Any smallfolk was given a gold dragon for every day he couldn't solve a dispute, riddle or problem starting at the moment he saw them. Its said he only gave away 5 golden dragons. He would marry a Redwyne and father 2 sons, Aren the True and Varrok the Cunning and a daughter Gilly after Samwell the Patriarch's request.

Aren the True
Aptly titled due to him being a true lord of the Hornhill. Aren fought a multitude of conflicts for the iron throne. While not as stunning as Randyll Tarly. No one would say he was any less able.

He would continue the growing of House Tarly and increased the size of their land by having his daughters marry dying houses nearby.

His life was spent going from one war to the next. He would marry a Fossoway. He would sire one son and two daughters. Jon the Zealous, Sara and Saresh.

Jon the Zealous-
Named after the great friend of Samwell the Patriarch. He quickly earned his name winning many tourneys as a young squire. He married a Florent.
He would fight and eventually be wounded in battle close to death. After recovering, the death of his wife would breathe new life into the widower. He would throw his body and soul into the war and eventually die.
He fathered 2 sons. Rafen and Arkio.

House Traditions-
"The Law of the Snows"
Baseborn children are not treated with disdain in Hornhill. The Tarlys remember Jon Snow.

The Oath
After every new Lord of Winterfell is born. The Tarlys return to the North to offer the congratulations if able. When they do, the journey to Old Castle Black and remember the tale of Jon Snow. The renew their solemn vows to never forget Jon Snow.

Warrior Scholars
The Tarlys still value martial ability. They have changed in letting sons go earn their chains or other work without the stigma. Instead, the see the value in non martial pursuits.

The promise
A story is shared amongst the children of Samwell Tarly. Jon Snow was the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark under the oath and protection of the old gods and the new. A secret shared between two brothers Jon and Sam. With a vow of swearing to secrecy and a promise of protecting one another from any harm.
The death of Jon Snow and no evidence of a child. The Tarlys still feel duty bound to uphold this oath. Instead, the promise transferred to the Starks. An oath to protect Jon's family persists to this day.
Other:
Military:
The Tarly's military might has always been vast. They can typically levy 10,000 men during the time of The Game of Thrones. Reforms have been made that many nobles scoff at as imaginative but silly as Samwell the Scholar had created these reforms after he was reinstated as a Lord.
The Tarly's pay their soldiers who fight in Essos a standard fee depending on time and rank. Each soldier is trained for a period of 12 weeks and carries his own supplies. The men are outfitted with a large round shield and short sword with a spear. They wear standardized and effective armor. The horsemen retain the age old tradition of being knights or trained as knights and just lacking the title.
Currently, Rafen has 4,000 paid Tarly men and 1,000 horsemen. He has the capability of raising 10,000 untrained and unequipped levies and he has the means to equip them without straining his lands. His horsemen are a mix of those who have fought with him and bought horses and were trained, knights and those Dothraki he can convince to join him.
images (20).jpeg

images (24).jpeg

Economy:
The Tarly land is fertile allowing them to not have to pay for food in the winter and make a killing during it. The only people they don't take advantage of during the winter is the Starks. They are landlocked and lack any sea trade. However, they have a strong martial tradition and have blacksmiths who make all manner of equipment to sell. Its said if you aren't in kings landing's street of steel the Tarly's Hill should do. They also recieve some money from the Targaryens in order to insure nothing can distract the Tarly's from winning the war. They are by no means the richest house in the Reach, but they have no problem for frivolous spending which Rafen disagrees with. The walls bare of many displays of wealth and his vault only open to worthwhile investments, war and his soldier's pay.

Tyrells-
They are currently the Tarly's liege lords. During The War of Five Kings, they were capable of amassing an army of 100,000 from their own lands and their sworn houses like the Tarlys. Currently, they are on bad terms viewing Rafen as a warmongering glory hound.

Name: Borros Baratheon

Titles: Lord of Storm's End, Lord Paramount of the Stormlands

House: House Baratheon

Sigil: Black crowned stag on a golden field

House Words: Ours is the Fury

House History: The war of the Five Kings proved to almost be the downfall of the ancient house of Baratheon, a house that had stood since the arrival of Aegon the Conqueror, the first Baratheon being Orys Baratheon, the supposed bastard half brother of Aegon the Conqueror. King Robert was dead, his only true born children dead and revealed to be bastards born of incest with no Baratheon blood running through their veins. His brothers Renly and Stannis died childless leaving the Baratheon bloodline seemingly at an end. However whilst Robert may have had no true born sons, he had plenty of bastards, and a handful had survived Cersei’s purge. Edric Storm had survived, he son of Robert and a Florent, he was actually acknowledged by Robert, and raised within Storm's End, fully aware of his parentage. With Robert’s death however, and the rise of Stannis he was spirited away to Essos for his own protection, guarded by several still loyal men who had served Renly, who unlike Stannis had proven to be protective of the boy. It was here that he remained until the end of the war. Arriving back in the Stormlands as Edric Baratheon, unlike the golden haired creatures of incest who had sat on the throne Edric was clearly of strong Baratheon seed, black of hair and tall of stature. Despite the near ruinous rule of Stannis in the Stormands, the storm lord quickly flocked their banners to this young Baratheon. There was talk of him launching a bid for the throne, but none emerged, his counsellors knew that this was not the time, the Stormlands were still weakened from war, and the Targareyn Queen had dragons. For now they would bide their time, as seemingly loyal banner men of the Targareyns, they would do their bidding, but would always remember that it was a Baratheon who had felled the previous Targareyn dynasty. Since the war they have appeared to be nothing more than leal bannermen of house Targareyn, in secret however they still maintain communication with other houses sympathetic to their cause, ready to rise as they did against the Mad King.

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Appearance: Standing at 6”1, broad shouldered, and muscled, Borros is a near spitting image of King Robert in his prime.

919afd0b4c5e2f6a0c801e34bfe5e9a7a585941a.jpg

Personality: Whilst he may share his appearance with a young Robert, he does not share his personality. Whereas Robert was gregarious, and loud, Borros is more withdrawn and quite, his presence at feasts and events going little further than simply being there. He suffers not fools or idiots, being of little words himself he values them when he is moves to speak. He is a harsh man, but a just man. Despite his quietness however he is deeply ambitious, at all times seeking to better his own position and that of House Baratheon, whether through direct or more underhand means. He is a fan of hunting and jousts/melees, both watching and taking part with the later, one of the few social pursuits he actually enjoys, some say due to the fact that it doesn’t not require much socialising.

Background: Borros was born the eldest son of the reigning Lord Paramount, Oryn Baratheon, and so was at all times growing up the first in line to the Lordship of Storm's End, he was named after his ancestor Borros, who had captured King's Landing during the Dance of Dragons, only to fall at the Battle of the Kingsroad against the River Lords and the traitors Crownlanders who turned against him.

As first born and their, Borros was not sent off as a ward to be raised away from his family, but kept within the safety of Storm's End, being drilled daily on swordplay by the Master of Arms, and in his more academic studies by the resident Maester. Whilst he excelled at the former, his natural height and strength soon leaving him upending squires several years older than him, it became clear that the academic path was one that he would not tread, even learning to read took it’s time, even if he did not lack in determination to learn. What did interest him however, even if maths and reading were not his allies, was history, tales of his ancestors and the Kings of old, especially the tale of Robert's Rebellion and the overthrow of the Targareyn dynasty, the zenith of House Baratheon’s fortunes. This emphasis was very much ingrained, since the return of Edric Storm, the Baratheons had been watching and waiting for a chance to reclaim the throne, Robert’s blood flowing through their veins, and so each Lord of Storm's End's education emphasised this particular set of events in history, and he subsequent downfall of the House, propagated by the traitors Lannisters, and the return of the hated Targareyn dynasty.

Borros was exposed early on to the principals of ruling, going on tours of the Stormlands with his father, visiting the various Lords of the land in order to cement their future loyalty to him as Lord of the Stormlands. Whilst him and his father did not share an openly loving relationship, not down to any hatred or perceived difference, in fact the opposite held true in that both of them were quite emotionally cold, they were still close, sparring together, and young Borros sat in on the court session that his father held at Storm's End, an active advisor in the rulings passed down on the Lord’s realm.

Having reached his majority at the age of 16, he spent 4 years serving amongst the Border Lords, fighting against the Dornish bandits who occupied the region between Dorne and the Stormlands, occasionally United under the rule of the various Vulture Kings, marching on the Stormlands to pillage and burn the outlying villages and castles. It was here that he learnt the finer points of command, leading knights and foot against the Dornish interlopers in a fight that had gone on for countless generations, and would likely forever continue whilst men still drew breath. After his 4th year campaigning against the Dornish bandits however a Raven arrived at Blackhaven, home of House Dondarrion and Borros' home whilst in the Marches. It was a Raven which would end his time in the Marches, his father had been injured in a hunting accident. Oryn, like his son, was a mountain of a man, powerfully built and a keen hunter, having hunted in Rainwood for many years, slayer of countless stags and Boars. His time however luck was not on his side, whilst chasing the boar his horse was startled by a serpent, causing the horse to rear and bolt, sending Lord Oryn crashing to the ground, where the boar fell upon him with her tusks. By the time his retainers drove the boar away the damage hand been done, her tusks having raked across his, leaving deep gouges along his torso. Between recounting him and bringing him back to Storm's End and the Maester, infection had already set in. Immediately recognising the severity of the injuries, Borros was sent for at once. By the time Borros arrived at his stricken father's bed chamber the Lord of Storm's End was clinging to life, what words passed in those minutes between father and son are unknown, but within an hour of his son’s arrival, Oryn had breathed his last, the Stranger taking him from this world at the age of still relatively young age of 40. And so at the age of 21, Borros began his rule of the Stormlands.

For 9 years he has ruled, proving to be a competent administrator and military leader, maintaining the marshal nature of the Stormlanda. Leading numerous expeditions in the Dornish Marches, and leading Targareyn forces abroad in foreign conflicts.

Ambitions: To return House Baratheon to the Iron Throne.

Strengths/Skills:

Skilled Warrior – Forgoing the use of a sword, given his height and build, Borros wields a mighty warhammer. He is incredibly skilled with it on battle, preferring to fight on foot where his size and strength can come to the fore, splintering shields and armour in sweeping blows.

6ea29352ec91aa96b2a9cde184cbd570.png

Military Leader – His numerous expeditions in both Westeros and Essos has trained Borros first hand in the ways of war. He is a well versed leader of men, and has fought against wide rangers of enemies, from the organised sell swords of Essos, to the guerrilla armies of the Vulture Kings of the Dornish Marches.

Weakness/Failings:

Not Particuarly Affable - He may not be shy, but Borros wastes little to no time on pleasantries. Especially to those who do not know him he can come across as rude and abrasive. He attempts to overcome this, knowing allies will be needed in the times ahead, but this is very much part of his personality.

Uncompromising/Stubborn – Whilst Borros is single minded and ambitious, this can lead to him being at times pig headed and stubborn, refusing counsel and going on the path that he has chosen, refusing to deviate no matter the reason.

Fears: The fall of House Baratheon on his watch.

Relationships: Borros’s wife was Elyse Hightower of the Reach, married for 5 years. However she recently passed after an outbreak of the Bloody Flux, at the time pregnant with their first child. Borros has one younger brother, aged only 12, and so the continuity of House Baratheon is not yet solidified. These who would call themselves friends of Borros are very much few and far between, at most there are a few loyal bannermen who could be considered to be on good terms with Borros, but friends is a step too far.

Other:

Military: The Stormlands is capable of raising (at full strength) in the region of 35,000 men. Less than some of the other regions of Westeros, due to the Stormland’s dispersed population as well as the craggy and mountainous terrain. This is also due to the militarized nature of the Stormlands, devoid of any cities, though there are a number of towns. Despite this, or maybe in fact because of it, the Stormlands has perhaps one of the highest concentrations of larger fortresses and castles, and the constant warfare in the Dornish Marches means that the Lorss here can field one of the closest things to a professional army, famed for their archers above all. So whilst the Stormlands may not have the manpower of the Reach or Dorne, it is still very much a force to be reckoned with.

Economy: Whilst the Lords of the Stormlands are by no means impoverished or beggar lords, the lack of cities, major ports, or mines as are found in the Westerlands, means that the Stormlands financial light is outstripped by other regions. The land is fertile however, and enough food is grown to support both the population and the armies of the Stormlands. The principle economic hub is Weeping Town, through which almost all of the Stormland's trade runs through.

Name: Makkoi
Titles: Chosen of the Great Stallion, Khal of the largest Dorthraki Horde in Essos.
House:
Age:
28
Gender: Male
Personality: He is fierce and proud. A man who believes that strength rules, respects it, as most Dorthraki do. He has confidence in his own strength, one born of experience and countless victories. A champion, who has never tasted defeat, he is reckless and stubborn. Makkoi is not one for a quiet, restrained life. He will not bend the knee. He would rather die in battle. He is the type that enjoys a good fight, one that gets his blood moving. However, he also has as sense of honor. He will not attack women, children, or the elderly unless he considers them a worthy opponent. He finds no pleasure in torturing those weaker than him. Interestingly, he is also religious and will often listen to the consul of wise men who talk of the Great Stallion. He admires the Great Khaleesi in the West, or at least the stories told to him by the elders, as well as the men that desired to join the Western Dorthraki Army. He did too--once upon a time. When it was revealed that the Targaryen House were not of the Great Khaleesi's blood there was none more angry than he. Makkoi is a leader who leads through example. His courage and strength inspires those who fight beside him. He is the sort that does what he wants, lives how he wants, and dies how he wants.

Name: Daltrig Storm
Titles: Master of Whispers
House: House Baratheon
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Appearance: A5D84678-D1BE-4428-B5B3-59289BF2F9D1.jpeg
Personality: Daltrig is a man of seriousness. You will see no smile on his face or laughter from his lips. Being a bastard, he grew up being entitled to nothing, being treated as nothing. Everything Daltrig has, he has earned through blood and his own cunning. Because of this, Daltrig often looks down on the Lords and Ladies hosting their banquets and feasts, flaunting their money and power. He despises it. Daltrig has found that more often than not, a clever low born is far more capable than a pompous Lord. He is however fiercely loyal to House Baratheon and his Lord, Borros.

Background: Born as a bastard to the Lord of House Tarth and a common brothel whore, Daltrig was denied the Land and Title that he deserved. Despite being his father’s only male child, he would be the Lord of Tarth, simply because he had been born out of Wedlock. His father hated him, for the shame that he brought, but in reality, the Lord Tarth hated his bastard for one reason above all else. Daltrig would’ve been a good lord.

As soon as he could, The Lord of Tarth sent Daltrig away, off to serve and live among the Baratheons. Since then, it’s all he’s really known. Daltrig rememberers very little of Tarth or his family there. As far as he is concerned, he belong to House Baratheon, not House Tarth. After all, it was the Baratheons who raised him, clothed him, trained him. Hell, Borros was like a little brother to him growing up.

Growing up in the Baratheon’s household as a Bastard offered Daltrig opportunities that’s he wouldn’t normally have had. While training with the Master at Arms, Daltrig wasn’t babies or given way out. He was forced to become a good swordsman. Instead of receiving lectures about the history of Westeros and all its houses, Daltrig was free to do as he pleased, mingling with the commoners. This in and of itself was probably what shaped Daltrig the most. He learned how the world actually worked, the real world with real people, not the fake world that all the high born lords tried to hide away in. For every high-born knight sitting up on his horse, there were a hundred lowborn levies. For every high-born feast, there were hundreds of cooks, farmers, and servants. It was just a simple fact, the commoners outnumbered the High-norm 100:1, and there was power in that. Power in regular people.

When Borros went to aid the Border Lords in their fight against the Dornish bandits, Daltrig followed, doing all he could to aid his Lord in the guerilla-like warfare. While Borros learned how to lead men into battle, Daltrig learned a much different lesson. Sure, he had his fair share of fights, bloodying his blade plenty of times, but Daltrig came to learn that knowledge was power. For every bandit that was captured, there were secrets to be learned. Every village and farmhouse held secrets about the area, about the bandits, even about the Border Lords themselves. It was here in the Marches that Daltrig began to act as an unnofficial spymaster to Lord Borros.

When Borros’s father passed, and Borros assumed his duties, Daltrig stayed by his side, becoming the official Spy-master. Every campaign, every battle, ever siege. Daltrig was there with his Lord, often in the shadows, but he was there nonetheless. If there was knowledge to be known, Daltrig would learn. If there were men to be killed, Daltrig would oblige.

Profession: Master of Whispers, Loyal to Borros and House Baratheon.
Ambitions: To serve his Lord, and win back the Iron Throne
Strengths/Skills;
Spymaster:
In nearly every city in either Westeros or Essos, Daltrig has his spies and informants. If something is going on, he will almost always be one of the first to know.
Bladesman; Put a sword in Daltrig’s hand, and he’s liable to kill you. Put a dagger in his hand, and he’ll kill you in your sleep. If House Baratheon needs you dead, you will die.
Marksman; Daltrig is an excellent shot with a crossbow. A silent bolt whipping through the night will have you dead before you even know Daltrig is there
Weakness/Failings:
Drunkard; Daltrig likes his ale and his wine. His nights are often spent in his chambers, doing his best to forget the things he’s done for House Baratheon and his Lord.

Fears: The Death of Lord Borros
Relationships: N/A
Other: N/A
