Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Ariel nodded and waved as he walked off. He had a point, it wasn't like her to get confused like that and she had been having trouble sleeping lately. But she knew if she got a good night's sleep she'd be fine, she just needed to work on that and she hoped Gregory didn't worry to much in the meantime. She stepped inside the changing rooms to go change, smiling at the two girls before going off to her locker to pull out her clothes to change into.

-----------------------

Yuna smiled back at Ariel as she passed before looking back to Chler blinking a few times before nodding "Yeah! That would be fun! You're a pretty cool person" she answered with a smile before speaking again, jokingly patting her stomach as she did so "That you are. I'm pretty much always hungry so yeah. Let's go eat"
Gregory did change rather quickly, and his hair wasn't a problem, as he rather hastily dried it with his abilities. After that, he made his way over to the girl's changing rooms, still having that bit of worry about Ariel
If she wasn't okay, she'd tell him... at least that the boy was thinking...
He calmly waited for her
---------------------------
Chler waved lightly at the girl that walked in, and turned her look away from her as to not see her change. She was still shy about that point...
"Alright. Let's go!" She exclaimed joyfully, standing up, and walking out, passing by a pretty nice looking boy. The girl waved at him, before walking off
---------------------
Gregory looked at the entrance to the changing rooms, as someone was walking out... but it was not Ariel. She looked friendly, though, as she waved at him, prompting him to smile and wave back at her lightly, watching her walk off. His smile quickly waned, though, as he waited for his girlfriend.

As soon as he opened the door to his dorm and invites her in, her eyes began dancing around the room in curiosity "You have a nice place" her voice answered as she walked around, inspecting the herbs on the windowsill, even sniffing a few. She stood on her tip toes to see the photos on the mantle before pausing in what she was doing. She often got distracted by her surroundings like this, she realised it looked like she was snooping around Kane's dorm, she didn't want him getting weirded out by her. With slightly blushed cheeks she stopped what she was doing, instead moving to near the kitchen so she could watch Kane cook but not be too close so that she was in the way.

As Kane watches her look at his family photos, he simply smiles at her as she comes closer to the kitchen. "That's my family," he says with a calm and happy voice, "The big one is my dad. He taught me everything I know." Rosalie would probably remember seeing a man with bear-like arms and a long beard - it is clear that he was strong and confident. "But yeah, he's actually a good cook. My dad is the main reason I started to like cooking." He says, as he grabs a jug and places it on the bench, before grabbing an egg in each hand before cracking them into the jug with incredible skill - after all, it isn't easy to crack an egg with one hand. After adding the other ingredients, he grabs a whisk and starts whisking.

As the midday(ish) sun beats down on the students of the school, the bright light seems to completely ignore one student. While most people casted long black shadows across the ground, one girl certainly doesn’t. Gail always believed that her shadow wasn’t on the outside but instead on the inside burrowing deep within her soul. After all, it couldn’t burrow elsewhere – her body was thousands of miles away turned to little more than dust in a stone box.

As Gail gazes at the bright sun, she snaps back into reality as she remembers what she is looking for – her dormitory room. Her friend had recommended her to get one, so she decided to. If she was being truthful, she didn’t see a point in doing so. She has never needed a room to sleep in before now, since she doesn’t need sleep anymore, and she was perfectly happy wandering the corridors and outside on a night. Still, it couldn’t hurt, and her friend wanted her to do it, so why not?

As she looks around the school corridors in confusion, she doesn’t realize her surroundings as she bumps into a girl younger than her. Or rather, the piece of paper she was holding slaps her in the face. Since Gail is simply a ghost, she tends to be more ethereal than not, so often forgets that objects she carries isn’t as ethereal as her, which could cause some problems. Such as now, as her ethereal form simply floats through the girl the map she was holding simply splatted on her face causing Gail to drop it in surprise.

“Sorry…” She says, her ethereal voice echoing through the halls. Her voice was always hard to read emotions from, due to its unnatural, or rather supernatural, nature but her face showed complete honesty and sincerity as she looks to the girl. Gail needs to remember that most people don’t like it when she floats through them, but she honestly forgets sometimes.

After changing into a pair of black skinny jeans, she put on a plain white t-shirt and pulled on her favourite lilac coloured hoodie over the top of it. She didn't think she'd need to dress up too fancy for school so she kept it casual. Her hair now dried, she put in a hair pin with two purple flowers on it into the side her pale blue hair. Glancing in the mirror and giving a small nod of approval to herself, she grabbed her bag and stepped out of the changing rooms. She had spotted Gregory standing outside the changing rooms, looking worried. She sighed softly as her gazed softened, she really didn't want to worry him. "What're you thinking about, Greg?" She asked as she approached him.

------------------------------------------------

Yuna had waved as well, good think Ariel had explained what had happened to her when she was in the changing rooms earlier, otherwise he'd be getting scolding from Yuna, which despite her being tiny was still scary, she had an awful temper when started not to mention she was literally a bear. She continued walking alongside Chler, fixing the last bit of hair out of her face a she left the pool with her "So, where do you have in mind to eat? A cafe near here? Or the schools cafeteria?" Yuna didn't mind really, food was good to her, she wasn't picky on where or what.

Rosalie glanced over her shoulders at where the photos were again as he spoke about his family. She thought about her own dad for a moment before giggling silently "My dad's a fisherman, ask him to cook anything other than fried trout and he'd destroy the kitchen." She joked "My grandmother is a great cook though since she and grandpa live with me and my parents she loves to cook most of our meals." She smiled fondly as she spoke. It reminded her that she should have a visit home soon when she got the chance, maybe this weekend or something. She mulled over the plans in her head as she watched Kane cook. She was an okay cook herself, but it still fascinated her when she was near someone else who had a better more professional knack at it than she did.

Greg shivered visibly, hearing Ariel's voice. He was in thought as she came out, so that suprised him
Looking over at his love, he smiled sheepishly, and took her hand slowly, as she approached
"It's nothin'... Let's get going, your classes should start relatively soon" The boy said calmly, beginning to walk towards the pool's exit.

-----------------------------------------------
"I was thinking school, because we are technically supposted to stay here untill the last ring.. or so I heard.." Chler said, giggling slightly, as they made their way towards the school's cafeteria
"What else do you like to do in your free time?"

She watched him as he took her hand, her gaze sceptical as he told her it was nothing. She didn't believe that, after all, he did nearly jump out of his skin when she spoke he was thinking that hard. She didn't question it, though she would ask again if she felt things were still off with him in a while. She walked alongside him, nodding gently at his words "I'll be going to the music room next, I don't know if it'll be fun for you or not" she said with a small laugh. Though she assumed he would music was fun to play and listen too, in her opinion at least.

---------------------------

Yuna pursed her lips. Chler had a point. Though if they were to sneak off they wouldn't be the first people to, she didn't feel like getting in trouble though so staying in the school it would be. Listening to Chler's next question, Yuna smiled "Archery" she laughed a little "Sounds like a bit of an oddball past time but I love it" she looked to Chler "And you?" She tilted her head a little.

"I won't be bored... trust me" He exclaimed, his hand that was holding Ariel's tightening it's grip a little.
---------------------------------
Chler widened her eyes in suprise. Archery? That was rather interesting for the girl, and she'd like to try it out
"Archery? Wow, that's definetely on the list of things I'd like to try..." She then listened to Yuna's question, and smirked
"Nature. I love it. I may show you a trick or two that I know... I am a nature oriented girl.."

Fricka was indeed disoriented, so the girl that floated right through her did not disturb her... rather was the piece of paper that slapped her in the face, prompting her to stop in her tracks, even backing up a little as she squealed, her hand moving over to it, as the rest of the papers floated freely down. It looked like someone slapped her with the papers unintentionally, untill she heard a voice... rather ghosty voice behind her. Turning around, the girl yelped, seeing a ghost like girl standing in front of her. Fricka rather quickly calmed down, and sighed.
"It's alright... I'm fine" She exclaimed, looking at the papers the girl dropped. One of which appeared to be a map of this place

Rosalie glanced over her shoulders at where the photos were again as he spoke about his family. She thought about her own dad for a moment before giggling silently "My dad's a fisherman, ask him to cook anything other than fried trout and he'd destroy the kitchen." Kane listens attentively as Rosalie reminisces about her family, causing him to think back to his own. Kane loved his parents as much as any other child, but he always felt more connected to his dad - after all, it was he who taught Kane how to not just survive the cold wastelands of Russia, but to live there. "My mother and father both met due to their common interest in cooking...but I always felt my dad was the better cook. In Russia, especially where we lived, we didn't get many ingredients but despite that we always knew how to make the best meals - most Russians do. It's who we are, you know?" He says, somewhat jokingly, as he continues whisking the batter. Satisfied that his whisking arm had done its job, he pours it into a preheated pan and watches it cook. "Almost ready - do you want to the flip, or shall I?" He says with a cheeky smirk on his face.

Gail sighed in relief, as she didn't want to have somehow hurt her in any way. "Oh, good..." She says, as she bends down to pick up the rest of her papers. Even though she wasn't particularly new to the school, she had just started lessons again just recently so she was in a bit of a mess, still stressed out from everything. "Say, you don't happen to know where the girl's dormitories are, perchance?" She says in a very old sounding British accent - while her accent has toned down over the years to better suit the new age of people, she couldn't help a slight hint of it. She asks Fricka her question with a nice, warm smile despite the fact she is...you know...dead.

The girl's accent appeared to be British.. something that Fricka was quite suprised to hear. She ignored the fact that she was talking to a ghost for now and focused more on her question
"Yeah, I live there... what, you need help?" She offered with a soft smile. The girl/ghost reminded Fricka of her old days, when she was the one getting introduced. Well, at least she had the pleasure to meet the ghost.
"What's your name?"

Gail simply nodded, as she continued with her query. "Well, you see, I've recently gotten myself one of the dorm rooms here, but I don't know where it is...and this map isn't easy to read..." She says with a somewhat disheartened tone. If she couldn't understand a map like this, what hope did she have with proper lessons? After all, ghosts who can bypass walls find it hard to follow them, she thought. Still, she was surprised to hear Fricka ask her name. It wasn't something that normally happened to her. In a pleasant enough tone, she replies a simple "Gail Umberwood" before proceeding to follow with "What's yours?"

"Fricka Fnich.. nice to meet you... Can I take a look?" Fricka exclaimed extending her hand out for the map
Surely she could be of help
"Even if I don't understand this map, it's no biggie, as I will take you there if you want. What's your dorm number?" She said softly, smiling hearfully at the ghost
(Fricka's is 45, by the way)

"Sealion" he repeated looking to her. He slowly took the beach ball with slightly furrowed brows before bursting into laughter "A beach ball? Why do you even have this in your bag?" He asked, holding up the ball with on hand before rolling his eyes a little and standing up, luckily he wasn't easily embarassed so turning into an awkward looking animal didn't bother him in the slightest "Most people keep it simple by saying cat or bird or whatever. But since you are pretty cool, I'll see what I can do milady" he said doing an over exaggerated bow. After focusing for a bit, within seconds his human form had disappeared and was replaced by a sealion. He had transformed into a smaller one though, simply because full grown sealions are big and he could imagine himself being incredibly clumsy in movement, probably getting in the way of everyone. He had rolled onto his back in this form, having the beach ball rest on his stomach. "There, sealion. I'm not doing the ball on nose thing for you though" he informed her.
Tuesday blushed slightly when he called her cool. No one had called her that before. Take into account the fact that she wasn't ever around anyone, she had a very good reason for it. She laughed when she said 'milady', that was something only her parents would say in times like these. As she watched the transformation in awe, she couldn't help but wonder what powers she had. If she was here, like the boy said, she must have some. She applauded Levi as he put the ball on his stomach, and laughed again at what he said about his nose. "I said do what you will," she giggled.

Gregory smiled. Music was one of his tastes he developed while he was gone. Before, he wasn't really keen on it. While en reute back to FHS, he did listen to a particular piece of music he really enjoyed, but he didn't remember the name of it.

"Nature. I love it. I may show you a trick or two that I know... I am a nature oriented girl.."
Ariel grinned up at him when he tightened his grip on her hand "I'm glad you think so since it's my favourite class~" she chimed happily, though wondering why he wouldn't be, he wasn't that interested in music last she remembered, certainly not the type of music she grew up with anyways.
------------------
Yuna giggled, nodding when Chler repeated the word "Yeah, I find it super fun! Maybe I'll show you sometime~" she said enthusiastically. "My sisters powers are all plant and nature related" Yuna answered with a nod.

Kane listens attentively as Rosalie reminisces about her family, causing him to think back to his own. Kane loved his parents as much as any other child, but he always felt more connected to his dad - after all, it was he who taught Kane how to not just survive the cold wastelands of Russia, but to live there. Rosalie giggled silently at his joke before he asked if she wanted to flip the pancake. A childish grin spread across her face as she practically bounced into the kitchen area, nodding once she got there. After all that was everyone's favourite part of pancake making...or atleast hers.

Levi turned back into a human again, the ball still resting on his stomach as he lay on the floor. He grinned up at Tuesday from where he lay on the floor "Yep! And that's what I did." He said lifting the beach ball and throwing it towards her. He sat up again looking to the girl "Just letting you know, being a sealion isn't that fun, flippers are really awkward to use" he joked.

Ariel grinned up at him when he tightened his grip on her hand "I'm glad you think so since it's my favourite class~" she chimed happily, though wondering why he wouldn't be, he wasn't that interested in music last she remembered, certainly not the type of music she grew up with anyways.

Gregory smiled as the girl grinned. Her face was showing happiness, love, every positive feeling he could think of, Ariel's grin contained.
"I am glad it is... Just out of nowhere... how are you feeling? Just be honest with me..." He asked, wanting to calm his curiosity down. Her telling him that she was tired, or, as said by her "her brain was tired" sent the boy into worrysome mood. She used to be a lot more energetic since they last met. Greg hoped it was just her being tired today...
--------------------
Chler grinned, finding it really cool that she could find someone to show her powers to.
"It would be awesome to meet up sometimes..." She said back to Yuna with the same enthusiams she said to her, as they slowly approached the cafeteria.

Gail nods excitedly, as she hands over her map. "42, by the way. 42 is my room number." She says hurriedly as she beams at her with all the innocence in the world. Despite her age, biological and physical, you would think her to be a bit more seclusive. In truth, this was a recent change from the lonely ghost everyone knows her for. Gail smiles as she admits, this was a nice change.

Fricka nodded. They were living right next doors appareantly, hence she had 45, and the girl had 43.
"So close.. yet so far to having a roommate..... Alright, I can take you to the dorms. Follow me" She exclaimed happily, heading towards the school exit, walking by a happy pair which was heading to the school's cafeteria.

Rosalie giggled silently at his joke before he asked if she wanted to flip the pancake. A childish grin spread across her face as she practically bounced into the kitchen area, nodding once she got there. After all that was everyone's favourite part of pancake making...or atleast hers.

Kane chuckles to himself as he watches her bound towards him as he offers her the flipping part. As he checks on the pancake with his spatula, satisfied that it's cooked properly, he starts loosening it for her. "You ready?" He says with a suave smirk as he carefully hands her the pan.

As Fricka says that, she suddenly lightens up. "Oh!", she exclaims, "I wonder if I'll get a roommate?" She says in complete excitement. It had been about 500 years since she has shared a room with someone...now that she thinks about it, it has been about 500 years since she has had a room to herself. She happily floats behind Fricka as she follows her to Room 42. The couple stop slightly as Gail half floats through one of them, but they decided it would be wise not to mess with the dead girl. Especially since she detonated like the Death Star when someone tried to use a killing curse on her in the courtyard.

Fricka sighed softly. She was wanting to get a roommate for so long, yet she didn't get one. This was the closest thing to getting a roommate at least..
The girls exited the school building, now heading straight towards the female dorms right to their right.
Fricka was silent during their walk, as she wanted to talk with the girl more in her own dorm if she was willing to come by

Kane chuckles to himself as he watches her bound towards him as he offers her the flipping part. As he checks on the pancake with his spatula, satisfied that it's cooked properly, he starts loosening it for her. "You ready?" He says with a suave smirk as he carefully hands her the pan.
She had grabbed the handle of the pan, her smile still showing as she nodded energetically. She stared at the pan, concerning for a bit before lifting the pan up, flicking the pancake into the air. She had taken a step back as the pancake was on its way down, looking as though it was going to land on her head feather than in the pan, luckily she had moved back far enough for it to land in the pan and not on her head. In a small celebration she raised one of her hands in the air, mouthing the word "yes!" but with no sound coming out ((obviously)). After which she placed the pan on the cooking ring again, turning back to look over at Kane when she was finished.

Chler grinned, finding it really cool that she could find someone to show her powers to.
"It would be awesome to meet up sometimes..." She said back to Yuna with the same enthusiams she said to her, as they slowly approached the cafeteria.
Ariel's grin slowly faded as he spoke. So he was worried about earlier. She had a feeling he was. She gave him a reassuring smile as she looked up at him "I'm fine Greg. I promise, My sleeping schedule has just been out of whack lately as all. I've been having some nightmares, I don't know where they are coming from really" she admitted as she looked forward, shrugging ever so slightly before looking back at him "I'm sure they'll pass though"

Yuna nodded in agreement "It would be! I can bring my sister along sometime, maybe you two could learn from eachother!" She suggested with a smile. They soon reached the cafeteria and got in line for their food "What're you hungry for?" She asked the girl curiously.
