Futuristic The Empire of Stars- Lore (WIP)

The milky way galaxy is home to many species of varied levels if advancement. That being said the Undisputed masters of the Galaxy Is the Oomani Empire, A collective of 14 planets and their colonies and territories connected by a web of hyperspace trade routes. While the Denizens of the Worlds all vary in their shape and size they do share a very important thing...all are Subspecies of the Ancient Oomani who initially rose to prominence a billion years ago. With the earth and the other populated worlds of the Sol system now joining their Ancient Ancestors great empire this collective of worlds now possesses a huge population to draw from and a vast reserve of resources to trade them.

These fourteen worlds are divided among 4 systems, however this is not to say it is a single solar system as some of these worlds from the same system have as much as 100 light years between them. The defining feature of a system is the hyperspace network clusters around said planets. If multiple planets are interconnected then they are a part of a system.

The Largest of the 4 systems containing the 4 oldest worlds in the entire Empire. Home to the leadership sectors of the Empire including the Military, economic, and Political leadership castes. This systems military might is terrifying as it can have up to 10,000 warships moved to any part of its system in as little as 3 hours.

1. Edenia- The Homeworld of the Oomani race and the third oldest planet since its destruction and recreation. During the early ages of the civilizations history the world was ravaged by pollution and resource farming destoying the environment however the discovery of Hyperspace and Terraforming processes quickly brought the world back to a pristine beautiful environment as more planets were added to the empire and population growth became a problem of the past. Their initial belief of being the only intelligent life in the universe was shaken at the end of their great expansionary period when their signals reached the galaxy of Andromeda. A hundred and ten thousand years later an invasion force came from the neighboring galaxy like an unending tide. Among the thousands of planets and hundreds of stars destroyed was the Oomani capitol world. After its rebuilding the populous returned and over the next 60 million years would become the Oomani-Primas

2. Arcos- a completely metal planet with defenses rivaling anything else in the galaxy. Arcos was created when the destruction of edenia was apparent and the populatoon of the world fled while the Oomani navy held their Mechanical foes at bay. The ships having nowhere to go and with limited resources essentially solved both problems by welding the countless ships together and gathering chunks of their destroyed world to hold between the ships for farmlands, the pending invasion causing ships to have their guns taken and moved to the outermost layer. This giant collective of ships eventually became a crucial battle station in the defensive initiative against the Andromeda invaders, as more allied fleets were dispatched to the battle station it became the front lines of the empires war effort. Each ship down was salvaged and added to the battle station eventually turning it into a full blown planet with its own atmospheric conditions and gravitational pull, along with more shield generators and anti ship weaponry than any other world in the milky way. After the war exceptional gene modding and 60 million years of controlled evolution would birth the Oomani-Arcosi.

3. Olympus- While Edenia and Arcos Found themselves on the front lines of the conflict Olympus sat a comfortable 77 light years away and with the most fortified positions in the war between them and the enemy. Due to this a massive migration of the empires most wealthy to this verdant and lush world occurred along with a massive influx of scientists and entrepreneurs. This new population of the special cases in society would come up with the Instant Adult Gene Manipulation technology that all but won the war for the Oomani empire. This technology allowed the divergence in the Oomani, and the Creation of the more specialized sub species who would fight the enemies of the Oomani empire. This of course led to the world growing all the more wealty. Over time the population there became the Omani-Methusela and would be the primary ruling class faction of the Oomani Empire.

4. Asgard- While Olympus was far from the warfront and relatively uninvolved not all worlds that had the luxury of distance were so uninvolved. The warrior populous of Asgard had ships traveling all over the empire waging war against the foes and reinforcing the allied worlds. Their very advanced weapons and spacecraft being a crucial part in repelling the enemy forces. However they began to really shine when the Olympians developed the Instant Adult Gene Manipulation technology. The entire population of the world underwent the Genetic modification to become the Oomani-Soldius, afterwards they would strike devestating blows across the enemies war effort and cripple their fleets while taking out enemy command units. However the greatest contribution by far was made by the odin clan aboard the Sleipnir Vessel who managed to raid an enemy intelligence station and steal the codex for their language allowing the Oomani empire to decipher their communications and respond strategically.

At 77 light years across the three worlds of the sithian system and all their colonies make up the second largest system in the Oomani Empire and boast considerable power of their own having been able to repel every one of Andromeda"s invasion efforts despite making up the majority of the empires southern half. Its varied denizens each offer their own contributions however the Oomani-Thera from the Planet of Sithis contribute the most and are incidentally the most powerful planet thus they rule the system and keep it loyal to the empire.

5. Sithis- A small planet roughly 2/3rds the size of the earth and populated by the big eyed, big Eyed lemur like Oomani-Thera. While their physical abilities may seem to be lacking they are masters in the sciences of engineering, environmentally insignificant mining, and manufacturing. Due to this in the past several million years the worlds power has grown consistently as it strips the neighboring worlds of all metals replacing them with synthetic materials and convertimg entire worlds into fleets of starfighters, Mechs, and Armored vehicles. This kept them both on an endless path of economic development and heavily involved in the Oomani's defense efforts across the entire milky way galaxy. Their alliance with the Asgardians helped to solidify their relationship as the leaders of the sithian system.

6. Ahmonkos- The most heavily mutated of all the Oomani populations are the Oomani-Zeta of Ahmonkos who have less than 12% of the original Oomani Genome. This self induced mutation left them stunted only able to reach about 3ft tall, changed their skin a sickly grey and caused their heads and eyes to grow. They lost the ability to reproduce and gained severly diminished lifespans, yet this was all in pursuit of the hidden power within the Oomani Mind...and they were successful in their efforts. The Oomani-Zeta possess incredible telepathic and telekinetic abilities along with a greatly enhanced intellct that allows them to seemingly transcend death by uploading their minds onto computers and downloading them into clones. Due to this they have a severe rivalry with the Oomani-Anthro.

7. Apophis- Millions of years ago a group of Oomani-zeta who were not okay with the way things were heading for their culture fled to another world where they visited systems across the galaxy to extract DNA from younger species in order to repair the damage already done to their own. This resulted in the population becoming a collection of clans each with the Genetic Additions of a different non Oomani source such as Crocodiles, Ravens, Cattle, Dogs, Cats, even Insects. The end result was several variations of half Oomani half Animal hybrids with unique abilities and much of the same advanced technology as the Zeta's. However the Oomani-Anthro would contribute little to both the war effort and the empire as a whole but the little they did contribute was precious. You see the Oomani-anthro had long studied the soul and the afterlife and found irrefutable proof of an afterlife and of course how to navigate it. As such it is hard to find a ship without at least one Oomani-anthro on its crew serving as a spiritual leader of sorts.

The smallest system in the empire and one of the longest standing solitary outposts. This system exists nearly 12 thousand light years from the rest of the empire making even hyperspace travel take weeks. It is made up of the Supermassive Gas Giant Tonok, with its three moons being populated by the mighty Oomani-Brutus variants. While it was ravaged in the first few Andromeda wars, it managed to become a nearly insurmountable stronghold for the Oomani empire on the other side of the galaxy.

8. Tonok'os- The closest moon to The supermassive gas giant Tonokos was once a mining colony of the original Oomani Genome. However the invaders from Andromeda hammered the world with nuclear weapons irradiating it down to the core. Luckily this happened right around the same time the Olympians sent their Adult gene manipulation technology throughout the Oomani empire. The denizens of Tonokos all mutated their genes to absorb radiation without harm and use it to rapidly evolve. Unfortunatly the amount of radiation caused them to mutate into an evolutionary dead end. Becoming the Oomani-Brutus Type A, they gained immense physical strength and durability along with regeneration making them rivals to even the asgardians in close combat. However this came at the cost of them losing a lot of their intelligence and without the other members of the Oomani empire they would be incapable of space travel or higher technology development.

9. Kyrule- the second of the three moons and luckily one that offered little that the invading aliens needed. The planet did still suffer from immense radiation due to the close proximity to its sister moons. It acted as a base of operations for the defensive force and thus was and is still rather heavily fortified. That said the denizens were still forced to undergo the Oomani Brutus genetic manipulation in order to survive the radiation that bathed the moon world. With less radioactivity than Tonok'Os, Kyrules Oomani brutus Type B were slightly less heavily mutated and maintained a larger amount of their intellect, this came at the cost of being smaller and weaker than their neighboring brethren but they are nonetheless the leaders of this system due to their ability to use advanced weapons from the Oomani Empire. It is by their decree that the Oomani Brutus of all variants must fight alongside the Oomani Military.

10. Muhrock- The outermost Moon of the Brutus system has seen the worst fighting time and time again in this system. However it was the first incursion which altered the Planet. muhrock was hit with enough nuclear rays and atomic bombs to wipe out most of its surface leaving behind an iron planet magnetized by the sheer amount of energy that was dumped into it. Needless to say all life was wiped from it and the Aliens made their base on the moon world. The debris blocked out heat from the volatile Planet Tonok and the magnetic field it now had did the same. When the vaporized water came back down it did so as snow turning muhrock into a frozen wasteland. The Asgardians of Battlefleet Jormungandr initially failed to land their fleet for a ground assault do to the aliens defenses. However after retreating to the second moon the plan to recruit more Oomani Brutus and use them for the airdrops commenced. Even with the drop pods being blasted out of the sky The majority of Oomani brutus survived reentry and landing going on to cripple the defense cannons allowing the asgardians their landing. Thus the Oomani brutus would be enlisted from then on. The survivors of this ancient raid who stayed on Muhrock would eventually grow to be the Wooly Oomani brutus variant.

In the ancient days of the Oomani empire the earth and the rest of the solar system was a part of the Skarlet system whos duty it was to operate a massive reservation for non intelligent species whose worlds were destroyed by the ongoing war. Sadly just before the Olympians developed their Adult Gene Modification technology the Skarlet system was stricken with a devestating weapon that fired a radioactive Protostar. It was intended to be aimed at the sun, but the efforts of the Asgaurdian Battleship Slipnir damaged the Protostar cannons targeting systems making it hit the then rocky surface of jupiter. Attempts to siphon off the protostars matter with magnetic rays created three has giants that would become Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn. It struck the planet so hard it vaporized most of it and sent chunks blwsting inwards. The impacts on Mars destroyed the entire atmosphere and wiped out most traves of the once capitol planet. Shards continued on towards earth but alk but one of them were blocked by the Great Arcsphere, a amassive ship that once dormant from the blows it took would become the earth's moon. The last shard would slam into earth causing the extinction of the dinosaurs. Venus was hit by the largest piece however, as the radioactive core of jupiter slammed into the world making it a toxic wasteland, the shockwaves of this collision would push mercury closer to the Sun. With onky one planet remotely habitable the last surviving Oomani within the Arcsphere agreed to go into stasis for four years while the Arcsphere terraformed earth, the least damaged planet, and dropped them there. Unfortunatly the impacts damaged the Arcspheres computers and that estimate was off by about 61 million years. The Oomani survivors of the Skarlet system would remain dormant and the system counted as one of the many losses earned in the great first war.

4.1 million years ago the Arcsphere awakened the eight oomani from stasis with the last of its power and deposited them onto the earth with the rest of the creatures in its codex. These were the Oomani-Genesis the only clan of Oomani in the entire empire with 100% of the original Oomani Genome. They would develop into modern Humanity and recorded history would go unchanged. In the year 2077 humanity would discover Hyper space travel allowing them to Access Ancient Oomani Hyperspace lanes from the now dead Skarlet system. With these lanes they were able to travel instantly to Mars, Titan, and Europa. Though strangely enough Europa and Titan registered as being on the same planet for whatever reason. Eventually they would discover ancient vessels buried on mars that would point to the moon being a massive vessel of its own. One of these unearthed ships had a hyperspace navigational computer which scientists were able to decipher in under a month, seeming as if it were built by us...using the vessel they were able to take a hyperspace lane to the Inside of the moon and found the ancient craft. They explored it for nearly five decades before in 2394 they activated a distress beacon over 65 million years old...inviting a small but curious expeditionary fleet from the Progenitor System who cordially explained that these Humans were actually Oomani and they were a part of the empire wether they knew it or not.

11. Earth-The current Capitol of the Terran System and home to over 12 billion Oomani-Genesis or Humans as they have come to call themselves. Advanced medical technology allows for lifespans of nearly 200 years even without genetic manipulation and while not immune to diseases they have all but cured all that plagues their civilization. While they seem to lack advanced technology with the exception being hyperspace travel, the Kinetic weapons of the terran system are tremendously powerful and currently no world has more such weapons than earth. While they developed separately from the rest of the Oomani empire much of the ancient oomani customs like marriage and election based government persist. The earth fleet contains a whooping 70,000 vessels, more than any other planet in the oomani empire.

12. Mars- The manufacturing center of the Terran empire and home to over 9 billion Oomani-Genesis. This small world is completely coated in factories and manufacturing plants, with more being dug into the planet and stacked on top. Dotted with military bases and the main operations network of the asteroid belt outposts. However the recent discovery of ancient artifacts from a multi million year old civilization have also turned it into a scientific hotspot in the system.

13. Titan-The main fuel collection and processing plant in the terran system and home to 4 billion Oomani-Genesis with all of the adults working for Startech Industries and the children being trained to do the same. This World bases its entire economy around collecting gasses from Jupiter and processing them into Fusion batteries to fuel the Terran empire allowing the planets population and Startech Industries to have a lot of sway over the Terran System, enough to get a representative sent to meet with the Oomani Delegation alongside the politicians of earth and mars. The Startech central space station can be found in orbit around this planet.

14. Europa- the second greatest producer of ships and weapons in the terran system and sole producer of the hyperspace drives Europa is the second planet owned by Startech industries and is home to over 4 billion Oomani-Genesis. Home to the Startech Security force academy this world has recently begun producing as many soldiers as Mars does and is threatening to create imbalance within the terran system. With a fleet of 48,000 vessels and counting tensions between the Startech worlds and the Inner Terran worlds grows along with this planets economic and political power.

The Technology Scale.

In the Universe there are certain constants that are relatively important. One if these is the level of technology a civilization has developed. In order to better understand i have divided them into 10 levels.

Level 1. Stone age- this level indicates a civilization has barely begun to utilize tools. The ones they do have are primitive at best such as stone axes and clubs made of bone and rock.

Level 2. Bronze age- This level of technology indicates that a civilization has begun to forge metals. This is when blades edges, and armors begin to become prominent and widespread within a culture. In many cases the first vestiges of actual machines come in the form of trebuchets and catapaults.

Level 3. Iron Age- When metal working begins to be more refined and pure metals come into play. Things like valuable jewelry and mastercrafted weapons become a thing now, typically this is when masonry is truly mastered and large buildings and huge cities become a thing.

Level-4 Industrial Age- the age in which machines and manufacturing begin to truly reach their potential and become integrated into everyday life. Things like engines, and explosives become a thing now and populations boom in response to labor requirements and resource amplification.

Level-5 Informational Age- the age when information becomes readily available to the population and refined and more intelligent ways of developing technology become popular. This leads to the creation of technologies like social media and artificial intelligence. Many civilizations destroy themselves in this era.

Level-6 Post scarcity age- during this era the balance of resource to population shifts and there begins to be enough resources for everyone regardless of greed. This era shows the largest population boom which will remain consistent if the species is able to maintain the balance. Things like Advanced robots and Artificial intelligence develop during this era along with dreams of space travel. Yet if corruption isn't halted violent rebellion may be required to reap the benefits.

Level 7- Expansion Age- the age of expansion is what happens when a civilization begins to spread into space placing self sustaining colonies on other celestial bodies. Things like fusion engines, mass drivers, and space elevators come to be during this era. If the post scarcity population growth rate continues into this era a civilization will grow exceptionally fast.

Level 8- interplanetary Age- this age is when a civilizations dreams of space faring begin to be realized terra forming and genetic modification Become prominent here along with colony ships, artificial habitats and in some rare cases Faster than light travel is accomplished in this era.

Level 9- Interstellar Age- an age few civilizations ever reach, during this time period a civilization will develop into multi solar system dwelling peoples. Technologies like Dyson swarms, Warp drives, Force fields, gravity well generators, and other godlike technology come during this era and will usually make a species masters of their own domain.

Level 10- Galactic Age- the Era of civilizations who have basically reached their emd of development with only conquest of the entire universe being the next step. Technologies like soul manipulation, teleportation, black hole generation, and even time travel come to predominance here and the civilization likely rules the galaxy they are in if not many more.

Races

The Universe is filled with a wide variety of lifeforms. This includes the many variations of the Oomani, and the various younger races to develop in the milky way galaxy. The following is a list of the different races, their strengths, their weaknesses, their population, and their worlds advantages.

Many millions of years ago, the Oomani empire developed the Adult gene modification technology and the race collectively began to alter themselves to best meet the challanges they faced. The wide diversity it created has many thinking the Oomani empire is made up of a bunch of different alien species. In reality they all originated from the same original species.

1.Oomani-Primas- Denizens of the Planet Edenia after it was rebuilt, the primas Are a breed of Oomani who went out of their way to oush themselves to the balanced limit of genetic engineering. On average they can live Up to 1000 years, can lift up to 10 tons, run at up to 120mph, and are able to regenerate anything short of fatal damage in minutes. Their long lifespans allow them to become incredible specialists but culturally speaking they usually fail to diversify their skills making them typically specialists at one or two fields. They possess a population of around 5 billion with 60% of them living on the planet and the other 2 billion either in spacecraft, the neighboring moon , or one of the 3 large artificial habitats. The population of Oomani Primas Enjoy an immunity to disease and resist the effects of aging for all but the last few decades of their lives. Unfortunately they take a very long time to craft ships with it sometimes taking as long as 2000 years to craft a Dreadnaught. This is on account of the vast majority of the population living in luxury with little care for such things as ship building and defense. As such they have a meager fleet of 1277 Defensive battle ships to watch the entire planet, moon, and habitats. This planet and its neighboring colonies is a level 9 civilization.

2. Oomani-Arcosi- The Giant Planet ship of Arcos is home to a Oomani species that found the reptilian DNA of the Meteor Monitors native to the Edenian Solar system made for an incredibly useful boost to large ship living. This hybridization of the two species resulted in a stramge bipedal lizardlike humanoid who could rather easily handle the zero gravity environments and even for a short time survive in the vacuum of space. They have lifespans of about 350 years and are four times as strong as a Oomani-Genesis allowing them to casually lift about 1000lbs. As such this species florished in the early days of Arcos being formed and would go on to outnumber all other species by the time the worldship was completed. A vicious civil war would follow gaining the Arcosians their soverinty and making them the bonafide masters of the worldship. They now have a population of about 7 billion with 95% of them dwelling within the worldship itself, and the rest of them being scattered among the crews of the Oomani Astral Military. They are considered a level 8 Civilization despite only having one planet on account of that planets ability to move and easy conquer other worlds.

3. Oomani-Methusela- The undisputed masters of the Oomani empire the Oomani-methusela have come to be known as the olympians and have some insane accomplishments. They were the ones who developed the Adult Gene manipulation technology, their ancestors developed slipspace travel, they even rebuilt the oomani homeworld after it was destroyed. These Oomani put all their genetic editing into lifespan extension allowing for lifespans of up to 10,000 years most of which is spent in a state of perpetual prime. Sadly this resulted in them physically being no more impressive than a well trained Oomani Genesis, however they make up for that with the technological wonder that is the domain drives. The most glorious piece of technology they possess and the thing that sets them apart from the rest of the universe. The domain drives are massive structures that contain infinite pocket dimensions where matter and energy can be stored, extracted from, rearranged in, and even created or destroyed within. There are twelve such drives each named after a different of the main 12 olympian gods. Each Oomani Methuselah is trained for the first millennia of their life to harness this power before they are implanted with a receiver that allows them to wirelessly access this reality bending technology granting them a set of godlike capabilities dependant upon the domain drive they tap into. Due to their vast power and longevity strict population control methods are in effect on this world limiting the population to 500 million perpetually. New life is only allowed when death comes for another. They are the Oomani empires only level 10 civilization.

4. Oomani-Soldius- Hailing from Asgard the oomani-soldius make up the majority of the Oomani Astral Military. At any given time 90% of their population of 6 billion can be found in ships and military outposts armed to the teeth and excitedly seeking the next foe. Much like the vikings of old they have a culture that seems to revolve around combat and exploration. As such they Gene Modded themselves to be resistant to nearly all environmental conditions, they can lift upwards of 100tons, run at nearly 600mph, and casually shrug off light lazer fire, with a lifespan of 500 years warriors can accumulate a diverse and potent range of skills and appear godlike in combat. Probably even more terrifying are their weapons such as hammers that can absorb and redirect energy, spears that fly at reletivistic speeds and teleport back to their owners hand, and cannons that shoot Blue pillars of fire that burn even in space. Likewise their armor is some of the finest in all the Oomani empire allowing them to absorb limited amounts of energy, turn invisible, fly, and various other abilities. Like the olympians they have a wide range of lifestyles usually based off of one of the morse gods, however rather than clans the asgardians call their divisions Corps, and the Thor Corps is the most feared in the galaxy. They are a level 9 Civilization despite only developing for warfare for the past 65 million years.

5. Oomani-Thera- not all civilizations in the Oomani empire made a great miraculous stand against the invading force like the progenitor system did. When the world of Krause was attacked its Oomani Genesis population fled to the nearby world of Sithis. There they genetically modded themselves to be more able to contend with the jungle life. Sithis happened to have a self replenishing supply of an organic metal called Theros. The Oomani-Thera spent a few thousand years mining and crafting small ships that could hide in the jungle. When the second Invasion occured the Oomani-Thera came to the aide of the remaining Oomani worlds with fast light ships that outmaneuvered the enemy and after meeting up with the Asgardians and weaponizing their craft they became an indespensible part of the Oomani Astral Military. The Oomani Therahave a population of about 4 billion and live for about 130 years and rach a height of about 5ft, they are nimbke with unmatched agility and dexterity, they also possess remarkable senses of hearing sight and orientation making them excellent starfighter pilots and mech pilots. They are designated as a level 7 Civilization as they have only just begun to reach other worlds however their presence in the O.A.M allows them to access higher levels of technology.

6. Oomani-Zeta- The Oomani Zeta possess the least of the original Oomani Genome with only 12% being present. The rest is artificially created resulting in a variety of genetic defects. They live for about 35 years, posses small frames reaching only about 3ft tall, with large bulbous heads and eyes that are actually not very effective and easily blinded by bright lights. That said they are the closest to reaching level ten status with their technology and possess incredible psychic powers like telepathy and telekinesis. They are a high level nine civilization who maintain a population of about 9 billion across the three planets in their solar system.

7. Oomani-Anthro- The Oomani Who fled the Oomani-Zeta Sect before being too far gone repaired their DNA with that of a wide variety of animals from across the galaxy resulting in a wide range of anthropomorphic hybrids. Capable of an incredibly diverse range of abilities gained from their animal sides and amplified by their Oomani DNA the Anthro can fit a wide range of roles within the O.A.M however they tend to fill chaplain positions and counselor roles as their entire culture revolves around enlightenment and understanding death and the afterlife as a science. They can live for up to 750 years and have a population of 5 billion. Despite their many unique advancements they are designated a level 7 civilization.

8. Oomani-Brutus- If ever there was a race at the limits of biological strength its the Oomani Brutus. Three variants exist, the Type A, who are between 12ft and 14ft tall and by far the physically strongest able to easily heft over a thousand tons. The Wooly Oomani-Brutus who are similar in proportion to the type A but only around 80% as strong, they are however a bit more intelligent and resistant to cold. Lastly the type B Oomani-Brutus who are the smallest at between 9 and 11ft tall, yet even still they are the most feared for recently stepping into a type 2 civilization showing more intellect and growth then their larger brethren, that said they can still lift on average 450 to 500 tons. Luckily for the galaxy this aggressive species is a long way from developing space travel. Type A Oomani-Brutus are a Level 0 civilization and have yet to be recorded using tools, Wooly Oomani brutus are barely breaking into Level 1 status having been seen using massive rocks to crack open thick ice coatings on the lakes their world possesses. Oomani Brutus Type B are a level 2 civilization recently discovering metal working and beginning to craft weapons and armor. Luckily the combined population of the three worlds is just under a billion making them very heavily outnumbered by all other systems.

9. Oomani-Genesis- Solely found in the terran system Oomani-Genesis gain their name for possessing the pure Oomani Gene unmodded and unedited. While they are rather lackluster in their capabilities, only able to lift around 200lbs on average and run at up to 20mph all while possessing fragile bodies and sub par healing factors comparable to all but the zeta, they make up for this weakness in sheer number. Possessing a population of around 30 billion between their four worlds they nearly match the entire rest of the Oomani empire in number and actually outnumber them in battle worthy starships. While technically a level 8 civilization they seem to be on the verge of a later civil war showing signs of level 7 cultural development, but possessing a few of the level 9 civilization technologies. While Oomani-Genesis weapons seem to lack very many lasers opting to instead use bullets and missiles...however Terran bullets use fusion powered magnets to propel steel slugs at 80% the speed of light coating them with plasma. This makes them effective against shields and armor making them devastating ship to ship combatants. However they struggle heavily in close quarters or soldier to soldier combat.

The Intergalactic Invaders

The main enemies of the Oomani empire has for ages has been the Raidions. This machine race arrived from Andromeda 65 million years ago and were just barely repelled by the creation of the domain drives and Adult gene manipulation technology. Since then a massive invasion force has been sent over every 5400 years which the Oomani Empire has met on many battlefields. The raidions are not your average machine, they all were once organic being mutated into organic metal machines by a combination of nanobots and radiation. The radiation fuels the nanobots which convert organic material into the organic metal being with abilities akin to their original forms but augmented by raidion physiology. The metal they are comprised of is harder than steel, their weapons fire radioactive blasts of energy filled with microscopic nanoswarms. They feel no fear, have no mercy, and exist solely to convert all flesh into the "perfection" that is The Raidion. While many variants exist in each invasion there are several variants that seem to always be present.
1.Hyperspiders- A race of eight-legged beings with eyes between each leg and the ability to slip in and out of hyperspace for personal FTL travel. After being morphed by raidion nano-machines their spider legs were replaced by blades, their eyes enhanced to see further and in several fields including binocular, thermal, and radiation wave detection. They maintain their ability to slip in and out of hyperspace and their primary form of attack is ambushes. Stab wounds from their bladed legs leave nanobots within the wound damaging the target and slowly converting them.

2. Herrack- massive hulking brutes that stand 11ft tall and have powerful legs capable of propelling them at decent vehicle speeds and large leathery wings allowing them to fly although not very gracefully. after being converted by raidion nano-machines these brutes gain the additional ability to split their powerful arms into 6 skinnier arms with blades and small kinetic guns which can all move, target, and attack independently. they serve as both heavy troops and surprise shock troops for raids. their wings are usually replaced with missiles, blades, heavy laser weapons, or any other number of weaponry as they are often modified for jet propelled flight

3. Sygnian- The field command unit in the raidion forces, these beings have been arriving since the second invasion. once oomani they have now been mutated in a versatile killing machine capable of utilizing a foes weapons, committing sabotage, and telepathically commanding other units. comparable to asgardians in physical prowess but with more agile and precision focused fighting styles many in the oomani astral military fear encounters with these variants.

4. Tyranex- the massive factory world-ships of the raidions and usually the central points in any invasion. at 7000 miles long and shaped like a spear these vessels are nearly as long as the earth is wide. the ship constantly produces raidion units and craft and is outfitted with a shifting armored hull and incredibly powerful shields. it can also produce its own weapons systems and ammunition to unleash withering barrages either offensively or defensively. Entire fleets have fallen to a single one of these and the unending tide of fighters and dreadnoughts it can unleash. invasion forces usually have close to forty of these monsters and each will branch out to strike different systems spreading the galaxies forces thin.

5. Flayer- perhaps the worst kind of raidion these small humanoid skeleton looking beings were never organic and are purely creations of a tyranex. they are designed to flay the flesh off of an organic indo-skeletal being and wear the flesh as a sort of camouflage. The worst part is how convincing and effective their camouflage is, they are able to deceive close friends and family, and even retinal and dna scans. like the sygnian variant they can utilize the technology of their victim/host. during war times they are known to live full lives as their host doing their normal day to day activities even eating and drinking. packed within each forearm is a single weapon, in the left it is a razor sharp super alloy blade, in the left it is a small nano-slug weapon that fires a small bullet made entirely of nano-machines capable of converting their target in mere minutes.

6. Lord- The raidion lord represents the true power of the Raidion invasion force, they are among those struck with the initial weapon that birthed the species and are on average millions of years in age and experience. They each possess within them a dimensional core reactor similar to a Domain drive used by the Olympians. With it they wirelessly supply power to the entire invasion fleet and with each raidion defeated by the foe its own power diminishes. This being is tremendously powerful, rivaling asgardians in physical might and Olympians in Wisdom. Their weapons are the seemingly endless energy they posses and mental manipulation of the organic metal it’s brethren are made of, however perhaps the most terrifying ability it possess is its ability to bend physics in a way that negates communication signals and prevents access to hyperspace for anything within a light years radius. This paired with other haxxy abilities like phasing, telepathy, and the ability to revive entire armies of fallen raidion soldiers or even an entire Tyranex Factory world-ship make this foe a nightmare to meet in battle. Usually invasions are won by picking off the edges of the invasion fleet and whittling them down to a low number before confronting the raidion lord itself.

The Plot

7 Years ago the Terran federation, consisting of Earth, Mars,Titan, Europa, and numerous space habitats was contacted by an alien civilization. After a few long range transmissions with a lot of lag in between them three ships arrived welcoming the Humans back to what they called the oomani empire. Apparently mankind had originated from a colony of this empire that was long thought destroyed. After much diplomatic negotiation and a warning of an impendinggalactic invasion the Terran empire agreed tojoin with the oomani empire in exchange for trade and technological opportunities. With the invasion said to be ten years away mankind, called the Oomani-Genesis by their new allies, began to gear up for war. Unfortunately the relationship between the Terran federation and the rest of the Oomani empire has come under threat.

Long Ago Olympus had a threat that tore the empire apart nearly as fast as the raidion invaders did. Chronos the Olympian of the Hades clan whoin his travels found true immortality and developed an obsession with the raidion invaders. Using his knowledge of life and death not to mention genetic modifications he made countless abominations on a far away planet with the sole purpose of absorbing the raidion forces and becoming one with them. Fearing the result of this the rest of Olympus fell upon his Titan army and though they suffered heavy casualties, they were able to overwhelm his armies. Yet the Mad Father of the Titans would not die. So a prison was made for him. Using the domain drives they created a dimension where space and time had no meaning and physical form was nothing, existence itself would cost one energy. This prison was supposed to drain Chronos of his power and he would wither away and die with time. However the olympians made a tragic mistake, they used the prison for other beings as well.

Chronos learned to minimize the energy drain and each prisoner cast into Tartarus had their power drained not by the dimension but by Chronos himself and rather than diminish, Chronos power would grow for nearly 64 million years. With the Plague of human pirates that were constantly assaulting humanity easily solved by the advanced ships of the Oomani astral military ability to round up and capture most of them. They were cast into Tartarus by the hundreds of thousands and each and every one of them fed Chronos growing power until eventually the dam broke and Chronos had enough power to break free of Tartarus. Long thought to be an inescapable prison the guard presence was minimal and the Heavily empowered Olympian traitor tore the small regiment apart and fled the planet.

Shortly afterwards he would go to the Terran system where he would bait exploration team Epsilon delta, mankind’s most prominent team of researchers, into a trap where he would capture them to use their perfect oomani genes to create his new batch of Lifeforms...not Titans, Not Raidions, And not oomani, something more, he would call them the Oomani-Radiant but before he could finish his ship was spotted by Several Asgardian vessels who were searching for him. He only managed to escape with one of his new lifeforms before his ship was overwhelmed and he fled. Rather than destroy these new creations however the idea was had by the commander to return these members of Epsilon Delta to the Terran System under observation of The Battle fleet which found them, Battle fleet Fenrir, under the condition that they be trained in military procedures and used in the coming war against the raidions. However the true intentions of the Fleet commander are to use these Oomani-Radiant as bait to lure Chronos back out of hiding and deal with him before the invasion starts...though they may not like just how successful this strategy will be...​
