It was just like any other day. Most people were planning for their long weekend to celebrate the hard work they've accomplished. Most government workers were at home as military bases were empty.
Everything was great until two dozen ships of unknown origin appeared in the sky. They didn't ask for anything as they sent soldiers to attack key positions across the United States and nowhere else. Within the first few hours over three thousand people were killed and everyone was stunned.
One thing was clear to the inhabitants of earth they were not alone in the universe. And if they didn't do anything it would get alot worse
