If anyone has seen the movie The Duff, it’s kind of the quintessential teenage rom-com-dram. The girl who doesn’t realize she’s the Designated Ugly Fat Friend (DUFF) has a crush on this guy. A guy who has been her friend since childhood decides to help her transition from the DUFF to... well, just a normal person who can at least talk to the guy upon whom she has a crush. In the end, the DUFF and the childhood friend end up getting together.
Simple enough, yeah? I would really enjoy attempting a role play based upon such a premise. Basic literacy rules apply and I would greatly appreciate playing the DUFF. Any amount of darkness as far as character backgrounds is welcome, as long as it’s believable.
