Kage got very tense for a few seconds, before relaxing a bit. She shakily sighed, telling herself that he wasn't going to do anything, she was ok. Her anxiety dulled a little, but was still there. "S-so, why am I in your lap?"

"dunno... just had the urge to hold you." Asura answered, having felt Kage tense some before relaxing. Asura wrapped his arms around her loosely. That way Kage didn't feel forced to stay in his lap. "that reaction of tensing up before you relaxed... have you been... raped?"

Alistair grew tired of the older people flirting with eachother, and took out his Ocarina. He then began to play a song that only his horse responded to. It was a joyous melody, yet calming. The song was Epona's song. @Shiro kurogane @FireMaiden

Kage smiled, the music was calming and helped her relax a bit more. "Alistair, you're pretty good at playing that, did someone teach you?"

Baldur was exhausted. He had finally escaped the hunters, and was now it was pouring rain. Murphy was clinging to the inside of Baldur's shirt, shivering from the cold.


"It's okay, pal. We're almost to the top." The blonde man said, as he climbed up the mountain. It was too risky to fly. The glowing orange light from the fire tantalized him as he grew ever closer to the top. He reached up once more and felt smooth, and flat ground. He pulled himself up with a grunt and heaved himself into the cave. He saw a rather large man and a woman sitting with each other.


"Um, excuse me? Do you have any food? I've been running from hunters for days and me and my gremlin haven't eaten a crumb."

"I guess I'm not use to people being affectionate. It-it's ok, I'll get use to it," Kage said quickly, avoiding the question. She just forced a smile.

"..." Asura sighed, letting the subject drop for now. "if you don't want me to hold you like this. it's okay to tell me" He said and then looked at Alistair suddenly playing music.

Alistair shook his head, and proxi came out. "He just picked it up naturally. People teach him songs, and he plays them flawlessly!" She said as alistair played another song, a song that seemed to have a childlike feeling to it. And caused an urge to dance to its listeners. Up until Baldur showed up. Alistair stopped, and looked at baldur. He drew his blade, being on edge, and showing that he has his guard up. "Sorry... He is really edgy." Kage the tackled him with a hug, "I'm pissed off you bastard! I thought you were dead!" Her voice cracked as her shoulders began to shake. A few tears of mixed emotions rolled down her cheeks, "Don't you ever leave me again or I'll kill you!"

Asura watched what he guessed was a happy moment for Kage. Unfortunately, Asura just stared at the scene with the same numbness he felt. Not that he wasn't happy for Kage... but he never had a family. So he'd grown up jealous of families until at some point it just stopped bothering him.

Baldur picked himself up from the floor and walked over to Asura. "I'm sorry I never introduced myself properly. I'm Baldur. And you must be her friend." He stuck out his hand for him to shake it.

Alistair looked down as he saw Baldur and kage talking to each other, and found out they were family, and walked away. He sat down on a rock, outside of the cave. "She has family.....? I wish I had a relative to meet again.... but I don't. Not even my own mom is here to see how much of a man I am.... not after the village burning down..." He thought as he cupped his face in his hands, and tears slowly ran down his face. Proxi floated in front of him, and tried to comfort him with a tiny embrace. @Safety Hammer @FireMaiden @Shiro kurogane

Asura looked at Baldur's hand and placed some cooked meat in the older man's hand rather than shake it. After doing that, he walked off over to Alistair and pat the kid's back.

~Nine years ago~

They are going through the woods, hunters chasing them. A seven year old Kage is on his back. He crouches down and places her in an old hollowed out tree. Kane tells him that they can fight them together, but he shakes his head. A tear rolls down his cheek, before caressing Kage's face one last time. He kisses her on the forehead and tells her that he loves her. He says to not leave the tree until the hunters are gone. Kage is crying and tells him to come back. She's scared. He looks back one more time, before turning into a dragon and leading the hunters away...

Alistair looked at Asura, loneliness in his eyes. "His parents, and everyone he knew.... they were burned alive, along with his village. He has been on his own ever since. I have been with him every minute of every day, but that is not enough for him... He wants to be a part of a family, but no one is willing to take him in, not even those of the Elven race." Proxi said in Asura's ear as she floats back to alistair.

"wha..." Suo's eyes widened, then his face turned pick again. until Dru's hip bump jarred Suo out of his thoughts. "and I thought I was gonna be the perverted one in this relationship" He chuckled and threw his arms around Dru's neck, kissing him again.
