Hey, Effervescent!


I have a question about the sign-ups. I'm an artist, and due to that I have a lot of reservations when it comes to using other peoples work for my own characters. Both due to the fact that it is so weird to find your art used by someone else as character art, but also because I'll never get that first image out of my head and if I ever fall in love with a character, this gets really awkward since I'll probably want to draw them and have to go through a heap of trouble trying to re-design. I don't have any images on hand that would fir this RP, tho.


Do I need character images for this RP or could I get by simply with a written description?

Quick question; If the Dragon wardens are being hunted by ordinary humans, how do they know the difference between a Dragon Warden and someone that isn't a dragon warden, if the dragon warden doesn't have the dragon nearby? Do they have some kind of special mark, orrrr?


 
Because I didn't see anything of that sort mentioned in the lore.
 
I have a question regarding the dragons. Can their personalities be different from what is common to their species like a calm and peaceful fire dragon or a violent and rude earth dragon?
 
@CrimsonEclipse Absolutely! Think of the common traits as stereotypes. Just because people have observed a number of dragons in a particular type displaying these qualities does not mean every dragon of that type will be that way.

@CloudyBlueDay What I posted is not what you're restricted to! It's more like guidelines for you to get an understanding of what your caster can do. Feel free to make up some stuff of your own!
 
Hm. So would dragon stone armor be feasible? I'm imagining a huge earth dragon encased in granite, and the sight is remarkably impressive.

I have to say, I love your character and the idea of there being a cripple in the midst of all these super awesome dragon wardens, it really offers some amazing opportunities for character development and such. Totally gonna do that sometime. :P Idea stealz!
 
@Red Thunder Earth dragon's scales are so strong, they don't even need armor! Their scales can look like anything from tree bark to granite, but will still be incredibly strong. They are considered near impenetrable. If you'd like to go with a similar look for your dragon, the dragon's scales would look like granite.
 
@Effervescent so would you consider parting fire or absorbing fire (with the side-effect of great physical exhaustion) logical extensions to the current system?

This RP seems really cool and I was wondering if you were still looking for somebody to fill that last character slot? I understand if you already have somebody that needs to finish a sheet lined up or something along those lines, but it never hurts to ask!

I only read the short description so far, so if it is still open, I'll have some more reading to do.
