• sage, sage, sage. where to begin? a quiet, closed off girl. she got roped into being a camp counselor by her friend laura, who said it would be good for her. “you’re not necessarily lacking in drive… but your people skills need some work” were her words. sage signed up, saying that she had archery and writing skills she could teach the kids. much to her dismay, she got the job and taught archery lessons at 10am, and poetry lessons at 6pm. she has college plans, and is going to be moving to new york city in order to study poetry and pottery.
  
  sage is a bit of a stoner, and she says it “helps her creative process” when writing poetry. she can be a bit blunt, and tends to get flustered around others. she has some anger issues, but they mostly come out when her or her friends are being ridiculed. sage is relatively down to earth, just a bit awkward. she’s pretty smart, though it can be difficult to tell due to her being a person of few words. sage loves the arts, and dabbles in almost everything; sewing, crochet, writing, guitar playing, painting, drawing, and so on. her focuses are, however, pottery, poetry, and guitar. she was taught archery by her late father as a way for them to bond and she fell in love with the sport, even getting a few scholarships for her archery. truthfully, she would rather be working on a piece of art than hanging out with a ton of people, but tends to not mind having one of her close friends with her most times.
  
  she made quick friends with dylan and abi, who thought her guitar skills were cool. kaitlyn admired her talent for archery, and was relatively cool with the brunette. while an unlikely duo, jacob does like smoking pot and found out pretty quickly that getting on sage’s good side could score him some green.

  pearl, at first, is a bit dry and odd. she isn't great at speaking to new people so she will sometimes simply stare at them instead. though, those that know her know that she really is a sweetheart. while still quiet and a bit mysterious, she shows a lot of affection for others in her own way. pearl loves to spend quality time with her friends, and often makes them little gifts or reads their fortune. she can be quite protective of her loved ones, and will not hesitate to step in the way of danger in order to help, save, or protect them. unfortunately, this can come off as overbearing at times. she also tends to dislike being continuously bugged by people, or telling her to do things a certain way when she already has a method she likes. pearl enjoys routine and dislikes when plans change suddenly, which can lead her to being inflexible at times. while deeply emotional, she has some difficulties with expressing these emotions and will instead frequently go silent until she can process or the emotion passes.
  
  pearl is the head of a one-woman band named fortune. she sings and plays bass for the band, and makes alternative and indie rock music. while she may seem mild off stage, when she's performing she gains a whole new persona. this persona is tough, vicious, and emotional. when she performs she feels that she can truly let her emotions shine. this also applies to on the battlefield.

  pearl was born to luca fosette and piper westley, younger sister to capucine. piper was a british overwatch operative stationed in paris, where she met the french agent luca. pearl was born and raised on the base, and often was taken care of by other agents while her parents were away. piper was very involved in tarot and witchcraft, and took to teaching pearl and capucine her practices. pearl took more to fortune telling, while capucine took more to witchcraft.

  pearl and her sister began to train to become overwatch agents when capucine turned eighteen and pearl turned fifteen. the girls trained hard, and while capucine took to the front lines, pearl preferred to be in the middle of battle, helping her fellow agents. the girls were officially welcomed into the overwatch program when they turned twenty and seventeen, respectively. both of the girls quickly began to make friends in their own way. however, luca, unfortunately, passed in battle. this caused piper to bring the girls to the united kingdom. while here, pearl briefly met and befriended lena oxton right before the slipstream incident.
