Judging from Wade's CS, he has an attribute that Ophi would find worth training and nurturing: Willpower. If Ophi witnesses a display of intense determination and desire to carve out your own path, he'd likely see that some focus and nudging in the right direction could have excellent results. His allegiance flip-flops all over the place depending on who does and doesn't want him dead at the moment, so expect him to try and manipulate things to favor him in the long run.
