An alternative reality to ours... In the 18th century, the King and Queen reside in a palace situated in East Anglia, England. Strict and old-fashioned, it's difficult to believe the way the world moves around them. However, with the power to change anything in the country the moment they wish, they are the most powerful people in England. Employing many, including guards, servants and advisers, the family holds a great level of secrecy within the walls. Anyone found to break the vow of secrecy, or many other rules, could find themselves put to death without trial.

The King and Queen have three sons and three daughters. The eldest Prince, and heir to the throne, is a handsome young man, though cold and heartless by nature. He is due to marry the daughter of a Spanish noble, to help build relations and trade with Spain. Many, including his own siblings, fear what will happen when the cruel prince eventually becomes king.

Recently, things in the castle have been gradually becoming more unsettled than usual, following the execution of a young servant a week earlier. Tortured before been hung, she was accused of being evil and trying to corrupt the youngest princess, simply because she was of a poorer class.​

Quick-witted- During her teenage years, Anelissa appeared to develop this trait. Whether from one of her siblings or friends, she has become quick on her toes when someone challenges her.
Refined- Due to her childhood education, she became very involved in the arts, etiquette and languages. Although she may be slightly lackluster in some other areas, Anelissa appears to be well-rounded on the education front.
Trustworthy- Growing up as a royal, she knows how hard it is to find a good, reliable person to talk to and trust. This is why she allows people to talk to her; she wouldn't dare tell a secret either, unless it be direly important.
Honest- Although her honesty could come off in a form of an attack, Anelissa tries to be gentle about it. She is forward about her thoughts and isn't afraid to tell people how it is. This is usually take in a positive light as people value her truth and sincerity.
Kind- Although those around her can be harsh and bitter, it has turned her into a sweet individual. She sees no need to be toxic and brutal to get what she wants; she knows that if you truly want to succeed you need true friendships.

Vice:

Impulsive- This has always been a bad habit of hers, acting on only half of the information given to her. This has lead to many awkward situations and actions (she once walked in on one of her brothers because she believed he was going to Spain without telling her).
Stubborn- Once her mind has decided on something, it is set. She usually believes in her opinions so much that it is hard of her to consider why people may believe in others.
Disobedient- Anelissa always appears to be doing what she wants without reading the rule book. It is a known fact that she shouldn't challenge her fathers choices, yet she had on multiple situations. It is also a known fact that she tends to be reprimanded.
Insecure- Being so forward and assertive about yourself to others doesn't mean that's how you actually feel. Seeing how others are punished because of her makes her feel awful. Not to mention, what if her ideologies were wrong in the first place?
Impatient- Anelissa sees life as do it before someone else does it first. It's how you succeed in life. Although she doesn't want the throne, she sees it as if someone did, they should make a play for it before anyone is officially crowned.

Clara Ashwood Songbird500 Songbird500 - A girl from the French court and her brothers fiancee, she knew that they would hit it off right away! The fun-loving side of Clara always appealed to the princess as the stories of what she could never do interested her. The climbing of trees and swimming in lakes sounded like a dream to Anelissa; one which she hoped she could do with Clara some day. Continuously, she had always wanted to remain close with Clara as she knows how much this marriage could matter to her.
Christopher Matthias Ravenwood Misty Gray Misty Gray - Although she never used to be close to her brother, Anelissa could usually tolerate him and his strict demeanor. Recently however, he had committed an act unforgivable in her eyes and now he was dead to her! He had killed a close friend through execution, branding her as a religious traitor! She would now question and belittle his rule, even if it harmed her in the long run. He was a tyrant and monster in her heart, that would bring misery to England.
Jeremiah Oscar Ravenwood Mqueserasera Mqueserasera - Although he doesn't interact with her much, she enjoys how he encourages her rebellious side. The girl likes him as she feels as i he is a breath of fresh air away from all of the basic court nobles. He seems quite fun-loving; he can be a tad narcissistic sometimes which can rub her up the wrong way however!
Merliva Ravenswood Peckinou Peckinou - Anelissa and her sister appear to have fragile relationship; her sister isn't very supportive of her opinions or rebellious nature. Not only that, Anelissa sees Merliva as no more than her paranoid, cunning sister; that isn't to say she would treat her sister badly. She is still polite and respectful to her sister, no matter of her opinions.
Luca Arlo Ravenswood Violetti Violetti - Luca is Anelissas' favourite brother, even if she suspects she is not the favourite sister. He is able to have fun with her yet also talk sense into her. She loves his love for risk and excitement, facing some of his smaller fears for a buzz; he envies him in this way, as she herself doesn't feel brave enough to do such things. On a few certain occasions, he has talked her away from doing something gravely embarrassing.

Life

From childhood, she always knew that the least was to be expected from her. Her parents had three male heirs, and if they failed her two sisters would come next in line. Although it put her at the bottom of the food chain, it just made her work harder! She knew that if she was to succeed in the world of royalty and nobility, she would have to be better than the rest.

From a young age, she sought after to learn the most she could, seeking after the history of other countries rather than just her own, learning Spanish and French and learning her etiquette. Although at risk of war with France, she knew that learning French would be a valid option in her success; she was expendable, so she would most likely be sent of to marry a Frenchman if needed. Furthermore, with her etiquette lessons, she paid extra attention, knowing that if she looked promising, her father and mother might put her in a good place. Her childhood was full of learning and education, that we know, but it was also full of fun and excitement. Even though the majority of Anelissas' siblings had grown up, she still found other ways to entertain herself. She picked up art as it was most likely going to be requested of her at some point; she had a knack for artistry and is an excellent painter.

Once she reached her teen years, her opinion began changing and she became louder about them. This could become a thorn in her fathers side at times, but she had never done anything to brazen. She disagreed with how the peasants were living; some were starving on the streets of London whilst they ate veal and caviar. Furthermore, when people challenged her ideology and thoughts, she would try and shut them down as quickly as possible (whether she succeeded in doing so was a different story). She can come across quite fiery, which a lot of men like as they believe it would be fun to tame such a wild card. Anelissa likes the game of cat and mouse with men, so she can sometimes come across as quite flirty; she never ties herself down though as she knows she is still young and may be needed in a marriage alliance.

In recent events, Anelissa has come to quite dislike her oldest brother. She was friends with the supposed atheist maid that was executed; not only had this enraged her, it inflamed her hatred and fear for her brother. Now she was scared of how he would treat people as a king, she was also afraid of what he would do to the family if he is willing to kill their close friends. He slaughtered someone for something they didn't even confess to! Along the road of royalty, she would defy him and dismiss him; although he would be the king of England one day, he would never be her king!

Overall she tends to be loved by those close to her, to others however she can come across as an anarchic. This upsets her as she really does try and have everyone's best interests at heart, even if she goes about it in the wrong ways. It's what makes her insecure; even if she believes it is the correct

Duty is the core of Sigismund, it is not something he aspires to, it is merely a part of who he is. Where others weigh their desires against their duties, there is never such a conflict with Sigismund, to him the choice is always obvious and his first instinct is to do his job and do it correctly. He doesn't like Nobility, he doesn't like the privileges they take even as they mock the loser classes enjoying the superiority they feel whilst giving out their 'charity', but he will defend them, especially the royal line, with his life because he said he would. This has gotten him into trouble as when he discovered another guard was taking bribes, he subdued the guard and turned him in right there despite the guard, like many, being a second son of nobility and therefor shamming him and his family and causing untold levels of scandal because it was his job and many, but not all, of his fellow guard still resent him for doing so as, to him, there was never the idea to 'blackmail' him into stopping, to 'talk' to him and convince him to cease in his current path, he broke the law, broke his oath and so was punished. It is important to note that while he takes his oaths of loyalty to the crown with the utmost seriousness, his oath to watch over and protect his daughter, as he swore to his wife, holds far more value to him. This devotion to loyalty and duty has given him a certain reputation as incorruptible but also that of a bore.

The high standards he holds himself to, he holds others to and, as he finds amusing, the nobility tend to fail the standards the most often. The second someone fails his 'standards', depending on the standard, they are disliked or even seen as scum or trash. It is extremely rare for someone to ever redeem themselves after failing to live up to his expectations and due to his blunt nature, if someone ever ask him their opinion of them, he will tell them his honest opinion regardless of their status as he values honesty in others, so how could he do any less? However, when he stumbles, when he fails to meet his high standards, he is his own harshest critic. He will insult himself, mentally berate himself and push himself to ensure it never happens again to the point where some believe he secretly hates himself, and perhaps, there is a kernel of truth in that.

But, Sigismund can be quite amusing. He has a certain dry wit that many enjoy, well, those that do not dislike him or are the target of that sharp tongue. His clever tongue has earned him just as many enemies as it has friends... or... well.. more of the former then the later although he is smart enough to hold his tongue around the nobility and royalty, speaking only when spoken to or commanded and he keeps his responses short and to the point, using the barrier of his armor and dehumanizing effect of his helm to discourage conversation as he has no desire to get close to those 'people'. Its for the better as mentioned before, Sigismund is a blunt man. He doesn't mince words, he doesn't stop to consider the feelings of the person he is speaking to before making his thoughts and opinions known, as he will say,if they did not want to know they should not have asked. Despite this, Sigismund can be surprisingly tender. This is most often seen with his daughter, nephews, brother or sister-in-law, but he has a large, loving heart. He will often accidentally 'drop' coins near street urchins, forget food near the hungry, leave gifts for the downtrodden or beat down threats to those that cannot do it themselves. He doesn't like people to know or see him do this. His wife used to say he was who he was because he had to protect his heart which was large, beautiful but fragile and so he built walls around him, walls of duty and manned by a harsh tongue.

Losing his daughter, starvation and sickness... he has seen too many people die of both of the latter to ever want to see it happen to anyone.

History

The first born son of an immigrate Prussian baker, Sigismund was born in the life of the tradesmen. His early life was bland and not worth noting, a brother a year younger he wrestled, a doting mother and a strong father who instilled within him the ideals of duty to family and to always keep his word because, at the end of the day, a word was all a man had. Unlike his younger brother, Sigismund was a terrible baker and dreamed of adventure, of service in the army...

But like most young fools, he fell in love, and being the dutiful man he was, he married her at sixteen never having kissed her for that would have been most improper. As he wasn't much of a baker, to support his wife, he did what he always said he would and joined the army, his father surprising him by buying him a commission into the British Hussars... despite never having road a horse in his life. Surrounded by the sounds of merchants and lesser nobles, Sigismund was mocked and laughed at as he struggled to learn the art of the horse, but with a single-minded determination, he succeeded.

While he was not the greatest of the hussars, nor the strongest, nor the smartest, he was the bravest. At only 21, he was on tract to become a lieutenant, an unthinkable feat for someone not of noble blood or political ancestory as his hard work and dedication were widely recognized.. when the position was open, Sigismund could almost feel the pride as he expected his promotion.. only to have it handed to another. A new recruit who was the son of a powerful duke. His hard-work had been for nothing, his dedication a waste. It did not matter how great he was at his job for, at the end of the day, he was just the son of a baker. Bitter and angry at the system, he lashed out.. and then was lashed. Having struck the duke's son after he had heard him mock the 'dirty peasant who thought he could ever be anything more then a baker'. Thirty lashes, the amount high for striking both an officer and the heir of a duke, he was left beaten and broken.. and nearly died. But he did not.

A year later, in a battle on the continent, their lieutenant, the son of the duke, had been dismounted. Despite being outnumbered, despite hating the man, despite what had happened, Sigismund turned his horse and charged back into the fray and saved the man he hated more then anything in the world, dragging the bleeding man from the combat. When his lieutenant, eyes barely open already swelling from the blows croaked why,Sigismund told him a single word, duty. After the battle, Sigismund was given leave as his wife was nearing the birth of their child and his lieutenant, in a surprising display of kindness, let him be there for it.

The birth did not go well. His wife tore, and she made him swear an oath, as she lay dying in his arms, that he would protect and love their little girl, and he swore it. Yet again, he was surprised for being a hussar was no job for a man that had to watch his child, the lieutenant spoke to his father, the duke, and he pulled enough strings to gain Sigismund a job as a guard. Its extremely unsuual as guards tended to be positions awarded to noble bastards or second and third sons with no prospects.. with the occasional 'inhereted' guards who follow in their father's footsteps. It was a job that would let him stay near his daughter and even paid better, so he took it.

He has served faithfully as a guard since. The majority of the rest of the guard dislike him for being a lowborn, often giving him mock titles such as 'Sir Barley' to reference his lineage of the son of a baker. But it mattered not, mere jest and childish insults would never be enough to stand in his way. As the years past, he realized his family, and his daughter, loved stories of the castle. Of the nobles, servants, of the intrigue and love affairs. So, to indulge them, he started to share stories with them, harmless stories that was akin to gossip.. only true. He did not expect much out of this, but he became more observant as he constantly watched for new stories to amuse them with, and this new found observational skill is what truly turned the rest of the guard against him. He had noticed a fellow guard had been taking bribes and so apprehended him and turned him in. Such a thing simply wasn't done within the palace. It was all about the 'Game'. He should have confronted the guard, had him stop, or better yet, blackmail him and have him work for himself and his 'patron'. But Sigismund did not play their games. He never had and he never would. Instead, he beat down the guard and dragged him through the castle to the commander and dropped him in his office and handed over the proof. Since then, it is not uncommon for his private quarters, meant to be for when he needs to stay on duty to rest, to have the words 'Traitor' spread on his walls in pigs blood and the word, itself, is carved into the wood of his desk, but it doesn't matter for he will continue to do his duty.

History:
As the third prince of England and the second youngest of the royal children, Jeremiah shares none of his siblings’ worries, rather tiresome those affairs are. While it’s true that he would be the next king if comes the day his brothers meet ill fate, he would never pray for it, but dread it instead. King, the word sounds foreign at best before his name, no, he could never imagine himself as one, and neither could anyone who knows him.

His upbringing was more lenient than that of his brothers and dedicated sisters. There were attempts to reign him in, of course, to inject some decency into his head, but all failed. He has always been wilder than the other children and varied between a debauched deviant and a merry fellow, which are not mutually excluded. As a child, he not only played with his siblings but also spent time with the children of lower standing throughout the palace, as he found them much more interesting than his uptight brother and sister. He had to do it sneakily, however, after a poor kid was punished for punching him in the face (he was upset that he couldn’t distribute the punishment himself through a fair and square fight). That kid, nicknamed Levan, would later grow up and become his most trusted servant.

That’s not to say he didn’t love his siblings back then. Beside himself, he’s only loyal to his family. He harbours no ill will towards his eldest brother no matter what terrible things he does, and has only ever entertained the thought of overthrowing the first prince once when he was under the irresistible temptation of a fair lady from the north. He still thinks of that girl from times to times; what shame, what wasteful, hanging such a gorgeous woman.

Yet he has grown distant of his father the king after the execution of his brother’s lover. Love could do no wrong, and an enemy of love is also an enemy of him – Jeremiah declared, although in private only as Levan had thoughtfully informed him that it’s treason talk to speak ill of the king that way.

He is generally ignorant of the country affairs, and would avoid discussing it at any length beyond: “Tragic! May God save us all!”. He also treats servants and commoners just the same way he does the nobles: without any respect whatsoever. No less than five times a day, he challenges people, nobles and commoners alike, to a duel. Most admit surrender because of his status as a prince, so he hasn’t got much chance to improve his swordsmanship, and has to be content with practicing with Lancaster the Head of Security.

Relationship:
- Levan is Jeremiah’s close friend and most trusted attendant. No one calls him by his real name, but people instead use the nickname Levan, “le vent” which means the wind, or “Levan the sly wind" as he could be there in one second and disappear the next. He only opens up to Jeremiah and prefers to listen attentively when there are others present.

- Wesley Gray Lancaster, the head of security: Jeremiah avoids the man for his strictness, and summons him occasionally to practice duelling.

- The King: he dislikes the king because of his cruelty towards his eldest brother’s lover, but speak none as he’s in fear of being stripped of his status and privileges.

- The royal children: although he finds them a bit boring, he loves all of his brothers and sisters equally. He’s becoming wary of his eldest brother but doesn’t let it show. Recently he’s quite amused at his younger sister’s rebelliousness and attempts to encourage this trait of hers.

Open Minded - They are usually very open minded to possibilities and can be swayed to side with someone if they provide a good enough point to get them involved.
Just - They prefer to deliver justice and likes to make fair decisions even if the decision is unpopular, they also prefer strong evidence when it comes to convicting anyone of any wrong doing.
Flexible - They are very flexible when it comes to schedules or plans and can alter them on a whim without it affecting them much.
Patient - They rarely make hasty decisions and it takes quite a bit to get under her skin, believing that a opening will come to those who wait in which they can capitalize on.

Humorous -They always love a good joke even dark ones and will occasionally make one to lighten the mood when they are with friends.
Cunning - They are very smart and although they won't outright lie they will twist info to make them into half truths or even dodge questions if they really want to avoid it. They can also be quite good when it comes to judge of character and can figure out people that they study quite easily.

Cold - They can appear cold and heartless to most people and will usually spend most of their time being very selective over the people they wish to spend time with and will occasionally silently judge people before making a decision on weather or not they are worth the effort to be apart of her small circle of friends.

History: In Merlivas younger days she was way more outgoing and adventurous loving a good story and was quick to befriend anyone she seemed to like. Merliva also loved a good story which was one of the main things that would cause her to stay in one place for a long period of time. She was more blunt back then and would say whatever was on her mind which would occasionally hurt others feelings but since she was a princess most held their tongue. She was very affectionate with her older brother Luca and strives to be like him always looking forward to being around them and playing with them. When her younger siblings came about she was very affectionate with them constantly looking over them at the expense of spending less time with her other siblings. Although the books within the castle library was a great interest of theirs next to training with Wesley in combat and as they got older they spent more time reading and and when they reached their mid teens the started becoming more melo and wouldn't show as much affection to her other siblings like she use to. As they read books on darker subjects such as betrayals, mad kings and family troubles, she started sneaking around and spying on friends to hear on how they truly thought of her which made her grow more paranoid untrusting to say the least. She became more paranoid and saw new faces as enemies until proven friend and with the behavior of her elder brother she grew a bit wary over him as well, although when around him she would spill out info occasionally sometimes on purpose and sometimes not. When it came to the maids execution she didn't speak out against it nor did she support it but she did try to suggest something less harsh such as banishment or life imprisonment instead of straight up execution although she didn't push it at all and never really spoke much of it after that.

Clara can very much be described as a free spirit that feels increasingly trapped by the burdens of court. Growing up she was never considered delicate or graceful, often choosing to dance in the rain or climb trees instead of painting or sewing. But as time has gone by Clara's free spirit has been stifled by the demands of her family and society's expectations. And this has lead to an altogether other cunning side of Clara. The fear of failure and never being good enough has unleashed in her the feeling to excel and obtain a marriage that will grant her power and control so she may never have to be under the control of an other again. She understands she must be play the dutiful noblewoman but in her alone times she still finds solace in riding fast pace, walking through the woods and swimming in lakes. This isn't to say Clara isn't loyal. Her friendship with the young princess, Anelissa, has become a centre stone of her life and Clara finds herself becoming increasingly more herself when they are together. More over, it has become increasingly apparent to Clara that , if the choice was to be asked of her, she would support the youngest princesses endeavours over that of any of the other royal children. Clara knows when to crack a joke and express her wit and when it is time to hold her tongue. She has become increasingly aware of the talent and importance of looking and listening, especially in the royal court where more often than not, people are not as they perceive to be. History:
Clara spent most of her childhood in the French court, a fact that almost made French feel more a first language to her than English. While she enjoyed her childhood in the French court, the older she got the more clear it become that things were going to change in a big way. As the eldest daughter in the family it had been thrust upon her that she must make an advantageous marriage to help lift the position of the family. As such, from the age of 14 she had spent most of her time under tutorage to make her a more favourable lady in court.Clara moved back to England over a year ago and it had been coming up to her 2 year anniversary being back when the young maid was tortured and then put to death. In that 2 years she had struck up a great friendship with the youngest princess and the death of their mutual friend had not only pulled them closer together but weirdly had resulted in two totally different reactions in them. Where Clara saw a new rage in the young princess, she knew she would have to play a more subtle game so as not to share the same fate. It had made Clara contemplate if being the betrothed to the third prince would be that bad and after watching prince Christopher’s growing instability, she was verging on the decision to be safe than sorry.

History: Arthur Louis Livermore, originally Evan Morgan, was given up by his Welsh mother Gwyneth when the British royal family learned of his existence and subsequently of his Majesty's infidelity. Her choice was simple - give up the baby for a solid sum of pounds sterling and never mention it again, or spend the rest of her days in a monastery, vowed to never speak a word again. Lady Gwyneth was minor nobility, accustomed to a certain life, with a large family to provide for already. As such, Evan became Arthur, the miracle child of one of the Queen's ladies in waiting. In a rare turn of kindness, or perhaps a soft spot in the Lord Chamberlain's heart, the boy was educated and soon firmly attached himself to Prince Christopher's side, of a similar age that they were, and often managed to join in the young royals' games until their duties pulled them apart.

When the royal children had no more time for a low-born kid hovering around, he took himself down to the servant's quarters and was happy enough mucking around with the kids there, though they had years on him in knowing each other, and saw him as a bit posh. Such was Arthur's childhood, stuck between two vastly different worlds, not really belonging in either. He learned, though. He learned to make the other kids laugh, he learned what they liked, which treats to charm from the kitchen assistants, when to look the other way. The subtle skill of making friends became a clever eye for what people are looking for, even if they don't tell you - even when they don't know themselves. That is how he spotted Prince Christopher, who was obviously looking for someone to vent at, someone completely unconnected. Personality: Patty tends to give off the perception that he is just another disgruntled guard assigned to the royal family but he's far from that. Despite him having this tough guy persona, to the other guards and royal family especially, he's quite a cheery and fun loving man. Patty is very talkative, playful, and open minded when it comes to the people he sees as his friends however don't get on his bad side. If Patty doesn't like you, he will make it known. After serving in the Queen's army fighting against tribals in the colonies in Africa Patty has developed a dark side as well that leads to outburts of anger and physical aggression if provoked.

Fears: Patty fears that he'll be just as bad of a father to his daughter that his dad was to him. Patty stays awake at night with nightmares of both his childhood and his time fighting in Africa. Patty won't admit it but he fears death and also fears that he might hurt his daughter if he strays too much into the same path as his father.

Likes: Much like any man who served in the Queen's army, Patty loves his alcohol. Growing up in Northern Ireland Patty spent most of his childhood roaming the outdoors, farming, or hunting so he feels at home with these activities as well as many other outdoor activities. Patty's true favorite thing in the world though is his six year old daughter Amelie who means everything to him.

Dislikes: Growing up in an abusive household Patty hates when men put their hands either on women or children. If he sees this happen he will do something about it. Patty hates the sad and climate of the United Kingdom compared to Africa. He hates how little he is paid because he can't give Amelie everything she wants. He hates his ex wife for walking out on him and Amelie for a younger, much more wealthy, man. Mostly though he hates his father for robbing him of his childhood and for making it impossible for him to live a normal life.

History: Patty was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland to his mother Sharon and his father Connor. Patty's childhood was what some would describe as a nightmare. Patty's father come home drunk from work almost on a nightly basis and would brutalize both Patty and his mother just because he was the biggest person in the home. This abuse continued until just past Pattt's sixteenth birthday when decided it was going to end. One night his father returned home drunk from work, as per usual, and after a short dispute with Patty's mom he grabbed her throat and began to choke her. Now that Patty was almost the same size as his father, but also had the benefit of youth, Patty smashed a bottle of his father's head. After his father got hut by the bottle he let go of Patty's mom which ment Patty had a chance to strike. Patty tackled his father to the ground and let out sixteen years of frustration and systemic oppression. After the arguement his father left and has been gone since.

Now you would think after his father had left everything would be sunshine and rainbows but no life doesn't work like that. Once his father left, Patty and his mom struggled to survive off the little amount of money they were earning from Patty's mom being a seamstress. Patty decided since he drove his father away he would have to fix this so he went to the only place that would take a desparate sixteen year old, the Queen's army. After joining Patty was sent to the colonies in Africa, Modern day South Africa and Kenya to be exact, where he quickly became a man. Patty served in Africa for four years before returning to the British Isles as a war vet. Shortly after returning to Northern Ireland he met a girl by the name of Jennie and fell in love with her, or at least back then it was love. Mere weeks after meeting Patty got her pregnant, rushed into marriage, and nime months later Amelie was born. Everything was fine for the first two years after Amelie was born but then Jennie found a man with a wealthy family who could give her a better life than a daughter and soldier's salary could so she left Amelie behind with Patty and fled to Wales to never be heard from again. Jump ahead three years and Patty gets an assignment to the palace and takes it gladly. Six months after that he meets a local waitress and aspiring singer by the name of Rosé who he falls deeply in love with. And her we are now. Although his money situation is rough, Patty is finally happy because he has a loving girlfriend and a beautiful yiung daughter to return home to every night.

Standing at 5'11 and 140lbs, Luca has a toned, slender body frame. Ash brown, curly hair blesses him with a playful yet mature look. However, with eyes cast over with a grayish-green hue, Luca can come off as intimidating.

He prefers to wear loose garments that show little of his figure. Luca is the type of individual that can pale in comparison to his brothers when in a room. His graceful and solemn aura might attract some eyes and warrant compliments, but he shies from the limelight unless spoken to.

Personality​

An artist at heart, Luca spends the majority of his free time studying anatomy and geometrical structures of various objects and wakes of life. Often, he can be spotted in the courtyard sketching his soul away.

Upon conversation, Luca would appear to be a well-read man, quoting novels and whatnot. Although he can have a rather calculating persona, he's pretty frisky when the situation arises. Having a draw towards danger, Luca fears little. Or, perhaps it's coming face to face with the fears that give him such a high?

Luca admires powerful figures, with a moralistic conscious of course. Not one for romance, you wouldn't normally find Luca to be the flirtatious type. He has better things to do with his time, like stuffing his head with endless knowledge from the house library. Still, that doesn't mean the right woman can't come along.

Turns out Luca is pretty savvy at wielding a bow and arrow. A sword? Mediocre, if that. It's his dexterity that warrants him an advantage in a fight. Combat is usually the last thing on his mind, but he won't shy from a fight if necessary.

Specific Fears: Losing his memories or the knowledge he's gained, large bodies of water. (He's scared of a ton of other things, but he enjoys pushing himself to his limits. Maybe he's a masochist?? However, he adamantly goes out of his way to avoid large bodies of water. Even showers and rain trigger him to a degree.)

History​

Luca was the middle child of his brothers. His life was not unbearable, but hardly a cakewalk either. There was never a moment where Luca didn't prefer learning something new over playing with his siblings. As a child, he was quite the charmer, striving to outshine his older brother. In his teens, he settled for second place in a multitude of areas. When Christopher began isolating himself from his siblings, Luca attempted to breach the barrier his brother set up around himself. It was to no avail. He partly blames himself for not trying harder, for not trying to understand more about how hard it must have been. Til the present, Luca carries and cherishes all his childhood memories of Christopher before he changed so drastically.

Not every childhood memory is a positive one for Luca. On his 9th birthday, he was playing out by the river with his siblings. It began to rain, and as they ran about, Luca slipped into the heavy current. During the incident, Luca had gone under and lost consciousness. Waking up several hours later in his bed, he discovered it was Christopher who saved him. It was the last moment he could remember being so close to his older brother. It was this exact experience that led to his fear of water.

Today, Luca has the leisure to do pretty much as he pleases. He no longer tries to sway his brothers into thinking one way or another. Still having to tend to some political affairs, Luca offers detailed strategies for solving issues. However, not so much as to outshine Christopher in any way. It's a boundary he desperately wishes not to cross. If there is any sibling he fancies himself around, it's Princess Anelissa. Despite her age, he finds her company refreshing and her honesty to be charming. She's one of the few siblings to witness his playful side on so many occasions. He admires Merliva the most out of his female siblings. He finds her a bit hardcore at times though. His youngest brother is amusing to watch, and he quite often enjoys hearing his tales of woe and romance.

PERSONALITY: Tomas, although lacking the political acumen of his father and the people around him, seems doggedly determined to be a stalwart Catholic and a strong warrior. Despite his lack of political knowledge and finesse, he is a true threat on the battlefield which has built up over the many years he served in the Spanish Army. From the moment he could think for himself, Tomas knew that there was nothing in this world that satisfied him. While other children his age would have been pumped up with false dreams and goals, he didn't know what he wanted to do with his life. Ever since he was young, he had an anger issue which he eventually decided could be best served by killing people. His military has not only granted him battlefield awareness and experience, but his mind has been conditioned to view things more logically.

Over the years, Tomas's impatience and unnatural willingness to fight has become less of a passion and more of him running away from his issues. It allowed him to spend less time with his parents or a home which was empty and spend his time training or on some battlefield. After leaving the Spanish Army, Tomas has become unable to maintain meaningful relationships with people. While others see him as a brave soldier, Tomas has become traumatized from the extreme violence he has seen and it has made him more awkward and stoic. At the same time, he is not afraid to fight if he has to, just less inclined to show initiative. He is now more soft-spoken and less likely to start a brawl in the middle of the night.

After the death of his mother, Tomas has visited home less and less, seeing it as a symbol of bad memories. He also thinks that his distant relationship with his family has allowed him to be more free and avoid pressures like starting a family or moving up in society. He is perfectly happy and willing to serve as long as he believes in the person/cause he is fighting for (or protecting). Every once in a while, Tomas's stoic act breaks and he is more friendly towards others but he hasn't had the opportunity to show that side of himself in a long time.

HISTORY: Tomas was born in Valencia, Spain to a general in the Spanish Army and an American woman. When Tomas turned 7, his father had lost his left arm in battle and decided it was time to return home to his family. At the time, Tomas had only seen his father a few times in his life despite all the money that he would pass his way. His mother rarely talked about him and when he returned, she definitely wasn't happy. His father was and is somewhat like him where he is unable to be happy if he isn't doing something productive. Now, his father had not become a drunk but he sure wasn't father of the year. Now that his military career was over with, he tried pressing hiss dreams and values on to his son who was still too young to even think of what type of future he wanted for himself. His mother obviously objected and feared that her son could end up like his one-armed father.

Tomas spent a large majority of his childhood watching his father and mother physically hurt each other instead over watching over their son. As he matured, his mother saw more and more of her husband in her son and while she didn't realize it, she distanced herself from her son. Meanwhile, his father would spend time with those in power, trying to insert himself in a position of authority once again (seeing as he couldn't physically force to become like him). Their son eventually turned to street fighting for money.

Even without his father's job, their was family was set for a while and there was no need for him to do such a thing. Tomas fought not for the money, but for the rush and excitement. Up until this point in his life, he had not known what love truly was and it turned him into a very stubborn and independent child. After a year of fighting night after night, rumors of a child fighting ring spread throughout the area and it was eventually disbanded. His father, instead of scolding him, realized that there may be potential in his son and hired anyone he could to teach him how to wield a sword and how to ride a horse effectively. Tomas's father was less interested in his son's physical capabilities and more what his son could so for his family. While his mother protested, Tomas had become accustomed to the violence in the streets and thought that war would be similar (despite the several red flags around him) and finally agreed. Even after agreeing, Tomas's life at home was still far from perfect. In fact, after he began taking his studies seriously his mother and father only fought more until one day she had a concussion. Tomas was always closer to his mother, despite the fact that she was kind of distant. Even after her concussion, Tomas didn't speak up. He wasn't necessarily afraid, but he knew his claims wouldn't mean much; he was still just a child.

When Tomas turned 14, his father had transferred him to a military school. Tomas's life had become more hectic than ever and rarely had time to relax outside of school and his preparation for recruitment. After finishing school, Tomas was sent to the Spanish Army and spent several months in training. When he returned, he was given the unfortunate news that his mother had committed suicide. Tomas still had a little bit of time to plan a funeral for his mother but his father was more concerned on the potential connections he could make. While his father had not physically killed his mother, Tomas knew that it was his fault. The loss of his mother combined with the extreme amount of discipline and stress he received from military training/school, Tomas had returned back to his old ways. He would be unnecessarily aggressive to people and isolate himself. Without time to grieve for his mother, Tomas was sent to fight for his Spain.

After Tomas has completed his enlistment contract, many thought he would return as he gained a respectable amount of respect from his time in the army but he left with very few goodbyes. Tomas bought himself a small home, making sure not to draw attention to himself (as his father would most likely bother him). After his time in the military, he became more cold than when he left and didn't initiate fights as he did before. He had seen real war, real violence and was tired of it. At the beginning, false patriotism clouded his minded but he soon realized he was just an angry man. After several months of drinking and doing absolutely nothing with his life, Tomas's father had found a way to interfere with his life once again.

A high-ranking officer who once served with his father recommended him to the Tavares Trading Company without his knowledge. Soon, Tomas was offered a job to watch over Elvira Silva Tavares, the youngest child of three. Initially, he was not interested but he needed to find a source of income and realized it would be easier than fighting in the military. It took a long while for Tomas to get comfortable with the family, but eventually had a genuine respect for Elvira. After serving for five years, Elvira was sent to the UK to be married to Christopher Ravenswood. Thinking his assignment would change, the Elvira family sent him along with her to make sure she was properly protected.

It was always a question Genevieve could never understand and why her patience wears thin whenever she sees her siblings slacking off. Although not as strategic or perhaps, cunning, as her eldest brother, Genevieve has her way of doing things to get the results that she wants. Hardworking and determined, it's hard to stop Genevieve once she sets her mind on something.

However, because of her status and her limitations as a woman, Genevieve can only do so much. The both of them were considered role models to their younger siblings, however, her eldest brother had it much worse and endured more hardships than she could ever comprehend or imagine - or rather, she wouldn't even know of his struggles and abuse.

Nevertheless, Genevieve, presently, still remembers his kindness, playfulness, and loved bantering with him. Despite growing more closed-off the older they were, Genevieve still manages to maintain her sisterly duties and continues to care for him. She saw him as her protector and someone she could rely on - still does. Genevieve wants to care for all of her siblings, spreading love and kindness everywhere she went. She clung to her siblings. As her younger siblings came one after the next, it didn't take too long for Genevieve to want to be nurturing and caring towards them. Even she wanted to be on her father's good side and get both his and her mother's love and adoration. Respect is always earned and she'd prove herself worthy of it.

But, when news came about her marriage, Genevieve was torn. She didn't want to marry but knew she had a duty to uphold. Genevieve knows next-to-nothing about her fiancé and she could only wonder what he'd think of her, her hair, her family, or if he was kind. Regardless of what he was like, Genevieve knows that it's an order that she can't get out of. She has no choice and that's something she's fighting inside - torn between her duty and her heart.

There were many times where Genevieve tried to turn a blind eye to the cruelness of executions, bloodshed, and hardships of her people, but she couldn't. She could only quietly weep in her room and write poetry. But, one night, she decided to write and write. Secretly, she was able to publish her sorrow and desires under a pen-name. Who would have thought the people would want to read her work? Since then, Genevieve found new inspired hope - if she can't directly help her people, perhaps she can try indirectly.

Nevertheless, duties and responsibilities aside, Genevieve at times feels stuffy and wants to relax, however, she can not. Genevieve believes there is a time and place for everything and misses the memories of playing and goofing off with her siblings. At the same time, Genevieve always finds herself amused and fascinated by her siblings' love interest. She's quite the daydreamer and romantic. But, most of all, Genevieve is emotional and sensitive to the point that her heart and mind tend to always fight between each other. Her duty is to her King and her kingdom, however, at the same time, all she wants is for her siblings to find happiness. In darkness, there is always light and Genevieve can only hope that she can be that warmth for them, even if she can be overbearing.

Fears: Genevieve fears, as odd as this sounds, people getting close to her to where she'd get attached to them only to leave her. Not only does Genevieve feel pressured, but she feels as if she wouldn't be able to live up to her father's expectations. She wants to be good enough in his eyes and not be a part of his ire. At the same time, Genevieve wears a facade most of the time and fears someone will find out how truest thoughts and feelings. Lastly, Genevieve has written at least [ 1 ] literature book and some poems that has been published under a pen-name and she fears that her secret will be revealed since they hold most of her opinions and ideas.

As the second child of the Royal family, Genevieve Ravenswood, at a young age, felt the pressures of her lineage and status. Wanting close relations with her family especially with her parents and siblings, Genevieve tried her best to have family gatherings, meetings, and dinners whenever they could. Nevertheless, most of the time, her mother and father were too busy so, instead, she followed closely behind her eldest brother, watching his every move. She wanted to be with him everywhere he went, clinging onto him. The both of them were considered role models to their younger siblings, however, her eldest brother had it much worse and endured more hardships than she could ever comprehend or imagine - or rather, she wouldn't even know of his struggles and abuse.

Nevertheless, Genevieve, presently, still remembers his kindness, playfulness, and loved bantering with him. Despite growing more closed-off the older they were, Genevieve still manages to maintain her sisterly duties and continues to care for him. She saw him as her protector and someone she could rely on - still does. Genevieve wants to care for all of her siblings, spreading love and kindness everywhere she went. She clung to her siblings. As her younger siblings came one after the next, it didn't take too long for Genevieve to want to be nurturing and caring towards them. Genevieve wanted to give them the tenderness and kindness they couldn't or didn't receive from their parents. However, it didn't take long for her to realize she was the odd one out. Her siblings had dark-hair while she was the only one with light hair. Since childhood, as 'simple' as it was, Genevieve had her insecurities about her hair color.

At 11, when Genevieve was supposed to have been playing with her siblings in the courtyard, she ended up wandering away to find a place to give herself a moment to recuperate. In the end, her feet took her near the stable only to notice a sword. At her weakest moment, Genevieve tried cutting hair only to be stopped by Sir Wesley Lancaster.

Before that, when she was six years old, Genevieve tried to stain her hair in dark colorings such as mud and dirt to change her appearance so that she could look more like her siblings. Alas, the maids found her and the Queen hurriedly ushered her to get cleaned up since it wasn't "lady-like".

Regardless of how much Genevieve hated her difference, she hated the rumors and gossip even more.

"Did you hear? The eldest princess . . . her hair. You don't think . . . the king. . ?"
"Shhhhhhh! Not too loud, someone could hear you!"

Rumors within the servant's quarter spread that she was an illegitimate child of the King. When it reached Genevieve's ears, she could only frown at those thoughts. Although she should have 'punished' them for their treasonous words, she did not and asked the Head Maid to mind her servants. Regardless, they were truly mad and Genevieve could only state that those were atrocious lies and deceit. Of course, even if she wanted to find the truth behind the person who made those false accusations, Genevieve was taught to let it go and to not react, so she really tried not to. At the same time, she understood that making a big deal out of the matter could reach the King's ear and she could only imagine his ire and her mother's heart break.

Life in the castle wasn't all rainbows and butterflies as many would like to think. The stern and strictness of her lessons and responsibilities were overbearing. Her only solace was either with her siblings or with her art outlets such as singing, dancing, or even horseback riding. However, the court seemed far worse with hungry wolves wanting power and a chance to get on her father's good side. It was. . . . terrifying. But, she empathized with them. Even she wanted to be on her father's good side and get both his and her mother's love and adoration. Respect is always earned and she'd prove herself worthy of it.

But, when news came about her marriage, Genevieve was torn. She didn't want to marry but knew she had a duty to uphold. Genevieve knows next-to-nothing about her fiancé and she could only wonder what he'd think of her, her hair, her family, or if he was kind. Regardless of what he was like, Genevieve knows that it's an order that she can't get out of. She has no choice and that's something she's fighting inside - torn between her duty and her heart.

There were many times where Genevieve tried to turn a blind eye to the cruelness of executions, bloodshed, and hardships of her people, but she couldn't. She could only quietly weep in her room and write poetry. But, one night, she decided to write and write. Secretly, she was able to publish her sorrow and desires under a pen-name. Who would have thought the people would want to read her work? Since then, Genevieve found new inspired hope - if she can't directly help her people, perhaps she can try indirectly.

Although Genevieve's tutors and those around her were more than caring, she felt enclosed and boxed in. She's fearful of her words being used against her and so she rarely reveals her worries and thoughts to anyone. But, if there were any lessons to be had from the recent execution of the maid that was near her youngest sister, Genevieve was on alert and could only frown, hoping things were not as bad as it seemed. However, she, unfortunately, would be very wrong.

Her parents expected she would grow up to be a wise ruler that would lead Sweden to a brighter future, but instead they were gifted with a child who spent more time in bed due to being sick rather than becoming the next Queen of Sweden, since a young age Adeline tried her best to show that she was capable of doing stuff but her weak health made this almost impossible, she became sheltered and was treated like a doll that could be broken at any moment.
As time passed her health got better and she became a kind and lovely young woman, but her parents still saw her as the sick kid that wasn't strong enough to rule Sweden, after the country lost their power, the King and the Queen felt like their country was a joke, still an ally of Britain the royal family wanted to have more power, and they knew that they would only have it if Adeline became the Queen, but at the news of the first prince have an arranged marriage already their only option was the second prince, if Adeline could convince him that he was the better option to rule Britain everything would be brighter for Sweden.
Adeline wasn't happy with the situation she didn't want the royal family to have problems and who should be the next ruler, she didn't want to put into trouble her country if the plans of her parents were discovered, she thought that when the time came she would find her true love and she would be happy, but her blind desire of wanting to make her parents proud once made her follow what they wanted even if she was against it.
