Kaiyoto walks over to the door and opens it slowly, he looks inside and knocks a couple of times,

"Uh, hello?" He asks out, Kaiyoto was expecting a reply similar to "USE THE FRONT ENTRANCE!" or something like that. The reply Kaiyoto got was more pleasant,

"Oh, come in!" Kaiyoto shrugs and walks inside. He strolls up to the counter after taking the main hallway into the lobby and up to said counter,

"Um, how much would it cost for ten people?" Kaiyoto asks,

"Well, you would have to buy two rooms, five people per room." The man behind the counter responds, the man then slides Kaiyoto a small notepad and asks him to write who will be in each room. Kaiyoto ponders for a while before simply writing down his name and Sekai's,

"I'll be right back." He says before walking back outside. Once Kaiyoto's back outside he explains the situation and tells everyone that he will cover the cost for rooms and songs, and he reminds them that he will not cover drinks,

"Alright, I already put down my name and Sekai's so I will let the rest of you decide which room you want and who you want to be with." He then motions for everyone to come inside before disappearing back into the building himself. Kaiyoto pays for unlimited songs and two rooms before heading off to room 6.

Minoru Daisuke

“Thank you.”

Minoru quietly replied as he walked over to Mika and accepted the chocolate. Without leaving his current spot, he took a bite of the chocolate and as he expected, it was still overly sweet, since he never had a sweet tooth. Nevertheless, Minoru made sure to finish the rest of the chocolate in peace, only to have been disrupted by a series of shouting from the people on the front door. Unable to process the series of events just now, Minoru impulsively ran along with the group, his mind still on the overly sweet chocolate.

Following behind the group, Minoru entered the place called Karaoke. He has never been there before, but wasn’t really excited to be there. Once the Bakadere announced that they were going to split up, Minoru made sure to stick close to Mika, as if a dog loyal to his master.

As Ken mulled over which destination would be best to avoid detection from the watchful eyes of a certain housewife, his thoughts were interrupted by the sudden sounds coming from outside of the restroom. He couldn't decipher exactly what he was hearing, only managing to distinguish the noises as loud shouts and hard bangs. "What's going on out there?"

Before he could open the door that led to the current disturbance, the blond felt another vibration from his pocket. Fishing out his phone once more, Ken had mixed feelings upon reading the message. "Police? Is this some kind of joke?"

Given that their previous interaction hadn't gone over so well, it was likely that this was some sort of ploy to get revenge. Ordinarily, he would've ignored the text and simply walked through the exit without a second thought. However, the chance of the authorities being involved made him hesitant to simply leave.

Giving into his reservations, Ken slowly pushed against the door, his palm opening the entrance to just a slight crack. Sure enough, he could see the retreating figures of the boys in blue, as they were led away by an old man. Upon seeing the enforcers of the law, the Tsundere immediately allowed the door to shut, backing away to put any amount of distance between them.

Ken had told the truth earlier after he had been accused of being incarcerated. He had never once been arrested, this much was fact. However, that didn't mean that the officers had no reason to put him in handcuffs. Word tended to spread when property damage was on the rise and gangs suddenly started to clear off the street.

Head turning frantically to spot any method of escape, the gods seemed to smile upon the boy when he noticed a window in the corner of the washroom. Darting over to frame, it took little time for him to remove the glass from its resting place. Judging by the distance of the fall, there was good possiblity of him twisting an ankle or suffering a similar injury.

Looking through the empty square with one hand on the edge and a foot prepared to leap from its bent position, he hesitated for a moment. 'Am I really about to do something this stupid?...' Almost on cue, a gruff voice could be heard from outside the door. "Has anyone checked the bathrooms, yet?"

Hearing the police officer's inquiry, not another thought was given as Ken jumped out of the window. "I'm not sure. Let's just wait until later to check it out." Nodding in agreement, the two officers left their position near the restroom to join the rest of the group.

As this interaction between the enforcers had ended, Ken had made contact with the ground, thankfully not breaking anything. Dusting the accumulated filth from his jacket, the boy began to walk away from the restaurant that was currently being investigated. 'So, where to now?'

As he contemplated, Ken failed to notice the two officers remaining at their squad car pointing at him. "Hey, kid! What're doing?" Stopping in his tracks, there was a moment of silence as the three of them exchanged looks.

The standoff continued, the officers noticeably confused, while the teen held an expressionless face. Almost in an instant, this moment of death-like silence was broken as Ken took off running. "Get back here!" There was no chance of that happening.

---

After running up and down several streets, taking who knows how many turns to avoid capture, Ken finally found himself standing outside Chai Long's Karaoke. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't have come here. He would've continued walking somewhere else in order to return to his usual routine of patrolling the town. However, as he absentmindedly walked inside the meeting place, the blond only had one thing on his mind. 'Water. Water. Water. Water...'

While Ken had a great deal of stamina and endurance, the boy felt exhausted. Avoiding arrest while both cops pursued from two different directions tended to make a person lose a great deal of energy. With the only thing on the teen's mind obtaining a beverage, the man behind the counter began to visibly shrink as this new customer had a deadly look in his eye.

As he approached the front, Ken spotted a pitcher that sat upon the wooden surface, accompanied by several small cups. "E-Excuse me, Sir, how may I help y-!" Cutting of the man's question with a sudden pointing gesture, Ken guided the recipient's eyes to the the container with his index finger. "Water."

Taking a moment in an attempt to process what the teen had just said, the man was afraid to deliver the bad news. "I-I'm sorry, Sir, you need to buy a room first. All items purchased w-will be placed on a bill afterwards..."

Ken's gaze becoming a full-on glare, the worker was reminiscent to a turtle as he sunk into the collar of his shirt. Rather than the outburst that had been expected, he watched as the blond quickly grabbed a pencil and wrote his name on the notepad. Once that was over, Ken immediately proceeded to pour the contents of the container into several of the small cups, downing them in one single swallow. "A-Ah, I wouldn't do that if I were you!"

Almost as soon as the warning was given, Ken immediately fell into a fit of coughing. Whatever he had just poured into his system, it wasn't water. "What was that stuff!?" Backing away, the man wasn't sure if the question was rhetorical. "T-That's our specialty here at Chai Long's! It's a particularly strong blend of sa- are you okay?"

Right now, the older male stared at the one before him, the Tsundere's eyes beginning to droop and a very faint trail of pink spread across his face. "I'm fine!" Bringing himself back to full awareness, the rose coloring still remaining, Ken began to walk down the hall. "I just need to rest..."

As the boy made his way down the trail of doors, he just managed to catch the worker's final words. "Y-Your number is the sixth room on the left!"

Turing to the directed door, Ken placed his hand on the golden doorknob, his mind focused on the prospect of resting his weary legs. However, the peaceful thoughts evaporated upon seeing the other occupant within the room. He really should've paid more attention to what he had signed, but the need to hydrate himself was overwhelming at the time.

Taking one of the seats available, Ken hoped he would at least be able to get some rest before the situation escalated to something that would cause him anger. Finally able to give his body a break, he fell into silence as he released a small breath of air.

15 minutes earlier

You look what? Azami wondered what Sekai was trying to say. It’s certainly not an insult, because if it were, Sekai sure as hell wouldn’t have any difficulties in saying it. But if it wasn't an insult, then...what?

BAM!

Then suddenly all hell broke loose. Police burst in, paramedic came, and one old man was yelling and accused them on things. Before Azami knew it, she was swapped away by the wave of her old classmates who tried to escape from this chaotic situation.

15 minutes later

Why we run away? What are we even tried to escape from? We didn't even do anything remotely worth of arrest…yet. Azami was slightly panting inside the karaoke building. Somewhere a person was being killed or raped, and here the armed police force is trying to arrest a bunch of high schoolers. I knew something is wrong with this country, she thought. Then she remembered the old man had said something about them being recorded. If it’s true, then the police should be able to see the previous incident where the white-haired girl was being knocked off and paralyzed (temporarily), thus proving that the call for ambulance was not a prank. Injured spine was a grave matter after all.

That old man...how dare he called the police on us like we’re lowly criminals? She thought with cold anger. “…If the words about this somehow spread to the public, I definitely will sue that old man for defamation.” She muttered darkly.

Azami didn't really care with whom she would share karaoke room with. It doesn't really matter anyway, for most of them were guaranteed to annoy her in one way or another. So she walked behind Kaiyoto after he paid for the karaoke, and ends up in room 6.

She looked around her. There's Sekai, the person who made her rethink whether she really didn't care with whom she would sat with. Then there's Kaiyoto, he might be not the brightest bulb in the box, but when he wasn't being clumsy or touchy-feely his presence was quite bearable. And then there's the strange white-haired girl whom she didn't know. That blanket looked familiar though...wait

Five years earlier

Azami walked into the class in the morning. She was always the one to arrive early, because that way she could enjoy the calm atmosphere of the morning before other students arrived and turned the class into a noisy place. Her seat, her favorite seat, was in the middle of the class. It was a perfect place, because if she was too behind she would have difficulties in hearing the teacher, but if she was too far front she wouldn't be able to see the condition of the class, and she didn't enjoy the feeling of someone staring at her back.

She briefly glanced at the seats behind before she sat in her own seat. She wondered why the school staff always
wrapped that one seat with white blanket...

The present

...So there's an actual person under the blanket? Azami thought as she looked at the girl, Our old class was even weirder than I thought it was...

Then the door was opened again, and one familiar golden-haired boy entered.

Hope the karaoke device was still intact after they finished.

Kaiyoto examines the room carefully, mapping where everything is and where they will sing, ETC. When Kaiyoto finally sees the machine, his eyes widen and he darts over to it,

"It's the KOD-3000 Dual Hard Drive Blue Ray Jukebox!" He carefully drags his hand along the top of it before realizing how he is acting,

"I-Uh, I mean.... cool! It's a karaoke machine!" Kaiyoto then adds a nervous chuckle at the end of his "recovery". Kaiyoto tried his best to convince them that he did not have that much musical knowledge but that was a stupid idea,

"So, why don't we get some songs on and start singing?" He asks in a more confident tone than he sounded a couple of seconds ago. Kaiyoto selects one of the discs and slides it in before walking over and sitting on the couch,

"I don't I should go first, someone else should do the honors of singing the first song." Kaiyoto was actually just trying to stall because he didn't want to sing since the group he was with might get suspicious about his voice.

"Come on Minoru." Mika chirped grabbing his hand and eagerly tugging him toward the other room. "I want to be the first to sing a song."

Walking into the room he skipped onto the stage and grasped the microphone beaming."Lets do this thing."

Kenpachi had been walking outside for a bit, he left through the back door. He had planned on going back to the group because he had already ordered his meal and honestly he wanted to get to know them and how they changed. So he walked back to the Restaurant before seeing the police sirens going off. "What has Ken done now?" he asked him self but he felt his phone vibrate. A reminder for a text message went off as he had missed the original message. Kenpachi looked at the message a took off.

Arriving at Chai Long's Karaoke Kenpachi looked around for the group of people who were with him. he walked inside and looked at the list of names on the counter. "Um... I'm suppose to be here with a few friends some of which already have signed their names to this sheet, can I enter?" he asked. The receptionist just smiled and nodded as Kenpachi signed his name to the sheet. His eye was caught by the menu. "Can I have a bottle of Sake?" he asked. "Yes, would you like the normal stuff or the Chai Long's special?" He asked. "The special" Kenpachi replied.

Upon entering on of the rooms he looked around the room to find he had ended up in the room with Sekai (I'm not sure whos in this room but if they are already five I'll switch rooms) he walked over and took a seat un-clipping his swords from his belt and laying them against the wall along with the bag he was carrying on his back. Kenpachi looked over to Sekai. "So what the hell happened at the restaurant?" he asked. looking up at the song list he opened his bottle of sake and began to drink a little bit of it. His eye was caught by one of the songs. "I think I'll do that one" he said.

"The restaurant. Well. I don't even know myself. As crazy as what happened, it seems like something you'd cause. But it wasn't you.. It was...nevermind. I don't know who could have caused it. But don't let it get you all wound up. Just try to relax with us and enjoy the music please. No one likes it when you act up." @kirito1337

Sekai hummed, bobbing her head along to the notes of Mika's chosen song. She was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't exactly the best, but Mika had a nice voice. Which reminded her..Turning to the boy she sat shoulder-to-shoulder with, she nagged him whispering, "Kaiyoto. I don't see why you just don't let people know? If I were a musician, I'd make sure everyone knew it. You would see me singing in class, the hallway, cafeteria; wherever I'd have an audience. I just don't understand you. @Stew

It's him though, I don't get even more." Jerking a finger at Ken, Sekai face became thoughtful while she stared at him. Is he drunk..? He was a hot-head, always was, but she'd thought he'd have at least grown out of it now..I mean they all changed. Yet Ken still seemed..tormented. This was supposed to be a nice day out, and he didn't seem to be having any fun. Swallowing hard, since she was never good at this stuff, Sekai bit lip and politely excused herself from Kaiyoto. "I expect you to sing a good one! Don't let Mika beat you!" Was yelled while giving him a playful smile.

While striding towards Ken, a look went towards Miyuki wrapped in her blanket on a side of the room. It was nice that she'd wiped the sweat off her fore-head, but it struck as odd. Who was that girl anyway? Yeah she got the text but a finger couldn't be placed on how...The girl gave miss blanket a friendly grin before returning her gaze to blondie.
@Miyuki

Stopping in front of Ken, the girl bent over with hands on her hip and left her face inches away from his. The scent of alcohol was unmistakable.
"You look like you're in the dumps," she spoke, placing a finger in the middle of his fore-head. "I'm going to sit by you, and we're going to talk. Don't yell at me." Taking a seat, the brunette started. "Besides your appearance, you haven't changed a bit Ken. I mean, look at you. Fighting with Kenpachi, yelling at me for no good reason, and now you're drunk. Look at Minoru. He's over there enjoying the time here with Mika. He has some serious mood swings, but he's different...He's calm. Kenpachi is nuts, but he still enjoys belting out a good number. @Lycopene

Then there's you. What's going on in your life Ken? What's holding you back? My parents barely talk to me, but here I am still shining in all my beautiful glory. Even Azami....well...no one could ever really tell what she's feeling, but for your sake, I'll say she looks content. @ViAdvena

You don't have to say anything to me. On a whim I just felt like reaching out to you. If you're not going to say anything, I'll sit myself right back on over next to Kaiyoto. So. Did you want to talk or not?" @Lucem Tenebris

Mika giggled finishing his song and hopped from the stage hands thrown up."I am done! Now let's see what you guys got! Don't disappoint me!"

Beaming he walked back to his seat beside Minoru and slumped back in it. Digging through his pockets he brought out some candy canes and chocolate. Grinning he held some out to Minoru."Want some Minoru?"

Kimura was hanging on Sekai's back still, her blanket covering herself once more. Her legs wouldn't move enough for her to stand on her own yet, though she had the ability to move easily if placed on a seat. She was looking around, her right eye slightly uncovered, making it look like there was some kind of red-eyed demon underneath the blanket. She was getting tired, somehow just not even scared or worried about what might happen right now. Her hands locked together tight, making getting her off nearly impossible, though she wasn't choking Sekai or anything. She fell asleep, it now more of a cloak hanging around her and covering her face than how it was before.

Kaiyoto sat silently, pondering if he should tell them or not; his usual smile wasn't on his face and besides, he'd already told them he was a lawyer, why should he tell them what he was? Kaiyoto hold up his head by placing a hand under his chin,

"I should tell them...... No! No! I shouldn't! But I should, it would be better and would make me more relaxed! But what if I get carried away and end up bragging?! What if they end up finding out about...." Kaiyoto argued with himself quietly, his ramblings could just barely be heard over the idle background music that plays when no one's singing by a good ear. Suddenly, anxiety struck without warning and Kaiyoto had to get out, Oh God, what's happening?! He thought to himself. Kaiyoto got up and tried to act normal,

"I'm going to go outside for some fresh air." His voice was all over the place while speaking, it was quite certain that there wash a fishy smell in the air. Kaiyoto then power-walks outside of the room and back into the hallways which they entered in, he leans on the wall and starts taking deep breaths,

"No-No, I shouldn't tell them." Kaiyoto felt as though it was hard to breathe despite the air being nice and crisp,

"I should probably get back to the room ASAP, I don't want anyone to worry." He says to himself; although Kaiyoto does not move from the wall and instead, slides down the wall until he's sitting on the ground.

(Thought I'd drop a drama bomb right there)

Kenpachi looks around at the group of people and sees that no has yet volunteered to go up and sing so being interested in music as he was Kenpachi decided to go up a find out just how good his singing voice was to other people. His therapist always had told him he was a good vocalist when he was doing vocal therapy to try and help with his crazy behaviour and a couple other people within his family had told him the same. So Kenpachi got up on stage clicking some buttons on the Karaoke box trying to find the song he had picked out earlier.

The sound of a slow guitar filled the air and it had a nice rhythm. Finally the song cut in a Kenpachi began to sing. "~Every time I look in the mirror, all these lines in my face getting clearer...~" Kenpachi kept on singing. It was a well known song and Kenpachi knew it well. Even though he loved fighting he came to love music through his therapy sessions, he spent the last five years honing his skills on several instruments and in singing as well, until eventually he was able to sing and play in clubs and for special events. The course cut in. "~Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year, sing for the laughter, sing for the tear. Sing with me, even just for today, maybe tomorrow the god lord will take you away... Dream on, dream on, dream until your dreams come true...~" he continued to sing the song Dream On by Areosmith.

The song finally ended and Kenpachi stepped down from the stage. "So how did I do?" he said rubbing the back of his head. Unlike most times, this time Kenpachi was a bit embarrassed, even though his face didn't show it. before he only had to sing in front of strangers, but now it was in front of people he knew, ones he once considered friends, so he cared about their opinion somewhat.

(no colours.... too lazy... xD )

(Time for some mid-sleep singing and playing, which disregards her personality ^^)

Kimura looks up to hear his singing, her legs having regained the ability to stand. She was still practically asleep, which rendered her shyness null. She walked up to the stage, grabbing the mic and changing the song to a random song in Japanese. It was fairly clear she didn't even bother to select a song she might know, letting the song play. She picked up a guitar that was left in the room by her request earlier to the Karaoke place workers in the event she were to get the courage to sing and play, setting the mic on a stand, the song beginning to play. She starts to play the guitar perfectly, as well as singing along to the song. Her eyes stayed closed the whole time, her head slightly hanging down.

At the moment, Ken's head felt like jelly. In addition to a growing thump in the back of his skull, he was swept up in a swirling sensation. He was on the borderline between weary and full-on nauseous.

Given that he was only sixteen, Ken hand't touched a single drop of alcohol. After consuming so much in a short amount of time, it really wasn't a matter of if he was a lightweight. Even the toughest of men that could handle their drink would be as intoxicated as he was at the moment. He never had an interest in beverages such as the one he had unceremoniously poured down his throat, seeing both the health consequences and how ridiculous one looked during the aftermath. Smoking, however, was a different matter...

Head leaning back against his own shoulders, he was only able to properly sit up when he heard someone approaching. As his vision began to adjust, the blond with a face of vermillion was surprised to see what he was now in close proximity to. A brown-haired balloon with a mouth, no other features identifiable, floating in front of him. Well, his brain was currently trying to decide between a balloon and a giant hamster, the former preferable for some unknown reason.

As the balloon placed its string against his head, the white thread surprisingly thick and warm, it began to open its mouth and speak. As the hovering object spoke, the teen only became more confused. Why would he yell at a balloon? It was quite an intrusive balloon, no respect for personal space, but it was still just a balloon.

As the very animated inanimate object took a seat next to him, he slowly droned out its words, catching bit and pieces. Since when had party items gotten this advanced? Surely kids would shriek in fear if they began to blow up a balloon, only to have it suddenly start talking. This had to be a dream, right?

As he debated if he was currently in the realm of fantasy or reality, Ken managed to return to his state of semi-awareness at the ballon's final question. This thing wanted him to open up. For what? What interest did it have in his personal life?

Whether it was the alcohol taking hold over his mind or his disbelief that he was awake, Ken had officially lost any and all inhibitions. 'It's a dream, so none of this really matters...' If his brain has concocted this situation, he would simply play along until he woke up.

Before he could speak, Ken noticed that the balloon suddenly began to drift away. Thinking that it would get itself impaled on some sharp object and pop, he quickly made an attempt to save it from harm. Grasping the warm thread that strangely felt like an arm, he kept a light hold on what served as its appendage. It would be bad if the balloon was to suddenly burst into several pieces of rubber and hair.

"I-I didn't always act like this. I used to be just the opposite, for your information." His speech slightly interrupted by the appearance of hiccups, Ken let any words fly out of his mouth, incapable of reviewing anything that wished to come out. "I used to try my best at everything and would always hold my head up high..."

Trying to get a lock on the balloon as it began to multiply into several more, Ken continued his drunken monologue. "I did everything for others, never once considering myself. It was hell trying to work at home, school, and that old grocery store all at once." Finding himself looking back on difficult, yet fond memories, the boy's straight face began to curve into a smile. "But it was always worth it. I would've given anything to keep her happy and alive."

The smile persisted for a while, but good things were never meant to last, quickly turning into a deep scowl as he continued. "Then that man had to come back and ruin everything. He wanted to drag us away out of selfishness after being gone for so long and acted as if he hadn't put us through endless problems." He couldn't remember the last time he felt this anger, having always attempted to push thoughts of his father away. "There was no way I was going with him to some foreign land after what he put us through," Then the anger dissipated and was replaced by a look of melancholy. "But she didn't feel the same way..."

Despite his young age, Ken looked very old at that moment, perhaps compensating for the sleepless nights that he now recalled. "They left together, destroying everything I had ever worked for. I was alone because of that bastard and his selfish desires." Clinging onto those last words, the blond fell into deep thought, contrasting his current state of mind. "Maybe I was the same way, that guy passing something down to me after all, besides that stupid hair."

Keeping his gaze on his one free hand as its thumb made small trails along his pant leg, he seemed to grow even more troubled. "For once, I would've liked to be able to make her smile. For once, I wish she would've done something for me, since I did everything for her. For once," Whether it was his own hesitation or the alcohol working its magic, he seemed to be incapable of forming complete sentences. "I wanted to be a bit selfish..."

The current expression of sadness mixing with the previously displayed anger, Ken repeated the words that he had come to live by. "Only the weak care about others and the strong are the ones that come out on top, never knowing what it's like to lose. The strong live for themselves and nobody else, others eventually turning out to be the same as the rest. Only the weak get hurt..."

He had survived off of those words and stuck to them every day of his life. However, were they right? Would everyone betray him in the end? What about the Yozawas? Would they leave him too when it became convenient for them? He wasn't really sure about any of this.

Before he could get into the next chapter of his life, Ken could feel the warmth in his face growing by the second. Falling into a sudden fit of hiccups, he regained his previous blank expression. "I'm tired..."

Feeling his lids growing heavier by the second, as if someone was stacking weights on them, he began to drift to the side. Using his floating companion as a makeshift pillow, sleep threatened to take him. The alcohol and his little talk had taken a lot out of him.

The balloon not having the expected rubbery texture, finding it to be rather comforting, he released a small yawn. "Maybe I'll tell you the rest later, my body feels really heavy right now." With the darkness growing with each second, he found his ability to speak lessen. "I should probably get used to being this tired again, I'm going to be a college student soon."

As all light vanished, Ken was stopped in the middle of his last sentence. "You're a pretty nice...." That was it, the boy was out and fast asleep.

@White Masquerade

Azami couldn't help but raised her brows at the sight of Sekai(@Stew) was suddenly quiet, which was strange considering he looked very excited about the karaoke machine before. Then he scurried away from the room, apparently conflicted by his own thought. Despite her apparent indifferent manner, Azami was constantly watching her surrounding, so she noticed this thing. Strange…what made him so conflicted in a simple karaoke?

After Mika finished his song, now it’s Kenpachi turn to sing. Azami kept quiet, calmly listened to the song until he finished. “It’s nice. You have a steady voice.” Azami commented briefly. She was always like this, giving exact judgment, no more and no less. (@kirito1337 )

Then the white-haired stranger(@Miyuki) got up and walked to the stage, looking half asleep. Despite that, she sang the song perfectly. Somehow her voice sounds familiar to Azami. She was certain she had heard that kind of voice before, but she didn't remember where...

As the white-haired girl singing and playing the guitar, Azami discreetly heard Ken’s(@Lucem Tenebris ) confession. So that is... It sound like the platonic kind of unrequited love. This woman...who? His mother? Azami remembered hearing some rumors about his family...

And then Ken ended up falling asleep on Sekai’s lap. The scene was rich, if someone recorded it and then showed it to him after he woke up, he would be mortified. Actually, Azami was tempted to record it, for...

For what?

She would like to say for a blackmail material, even though she didn't have any reason to use it. Yet. Because just like what her father said, ‘make sure they know you hold their weakness in your hands. That way they would think twice before they betray you.’

But that’s not it. It’s just like that time when she saw Minoru's(@Lycopene) acting. She remembered almost unconsciously took out her phone and record it. The heartfelt display of emotion...it fascinates her. She didn't know why, she shouldn't be amazed by something so mundane. But there’s sayings that people are fascinated by something they don’t have. Perhaps they’re right. Perhaps that's why the characters in her writing was very contrasts with her personality.

Right, talk about her writing. Her old classmates most likely didn't know it, but within those years they're apart, she had published a novel under the pen name Azalea. Ah, wasn't there’s a scene like this in her novel? A group of friends went to the karaoke together, having fun and being silly while at it.

Azami leaned on her chair, sighed softly as she listened to the still-playing music. Perhaps this festival wasn't so bad after all...

Minoru Daisuke

Minoru watched as the people around him were minding their own businesses. Some of them were chatting, others were singing, and some were like him, doing nothing at all. Well, technically, he wasn’t doing nothing, Minoru was observing his acquaintances, particularly, Mika, perform a song number through the use of the ‘
karaoke.’ To be honest, the machine kind of perked his interest, however, the boy wasn’t brave enough to get out there and operate something completely foreign to him.

Once Mika was done with his song, Minoru clapped while a small smile unconsciously formed on his face. Watching as the brunette boy sat down next to him, Minoru accepted Mika’s offer of candy canes and chocolates, taking one of each item.

“Thank you.”

Minoru said quietly before placing the candy cane in his mouth. With his attention out of the stage, the boy became aware of the happenings around him, from the Bakadere not being his usual self and walking out the room, the Himedere calmly having a conversation with the Tsundere, and the sight of the Tsundere passing out on the Himedere’s lap.

While those scenes were something that he wouldn’t see often, Minoru couldn’t care less about that. Snapping the candy cane in half, the blonde listened to the sound of him chewing on the candy, as if it was a way of escaping his own thoughts.

That is...Did he really not care at all?

"I am sure he will be fine." Mika smiled softly turning toward him. His candy cane held in his hand sharpened to a point."You should sing a song Minoru. Its a lot of fun. I think you will like it."

Ianari had been talking to his brother, mood fluctuating, eye twitching periodically as they conversed about a topic unheard by the rest in this time of changing focus, the restaurant, the ambulance, now karaoke, everything was happening so quickly that the boy didn't even bother to make an attempt to understand all of the sudden occurrences and continued to ignore, his thoughts pertaining to his conversation and mood swings that came and went like waves on the shore. "Oh, really? So you're on a business trip? Am I not important enough to have known sooner?" He sighed and listened to the man's frantic explanation as they entered the building behind the others, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms as he walked and finally caught up, still more concerned with Misoko's words than anything.

(Apologies for my late shit post)

Kimura lets the next song play, singing and playing guitar along with it. She was still half asleep, though was slowly regaining her conscious state. By the end of the song, she was mostly awake, though was so embarrassed, she choose to keep acting half asleep to keep them from knowing she was embarrassed. She thinks back to five years ago, remembering the song she was in the middle of instantly; this was a song she had actually made, sent in anonymously to the radio company, then forgotten all about, as she thought it wouldn't be approved. Azami'd probably listened to her singing this very song in the music room back five years ago, when Kimura was trying to alleviate herself of the stress choosing between two people she looked up to. She'd done the drums, guitar, and singing herself that day five years ago, all at once.

(Song ^^ Yes, I love Angel Beats ^^)

As minutes of the afternoon ticked away with the onset of evening, Sekai's face completed its transformation into a ripe beet. Ken Graves. The Ken Graves, was passed out on her person. Catching Azami's gaze, she quickly turned away, looking back down at the slumbering one. What the heck is statue's problem?! She acts like I think I'm a royal princess or something! Clearly, that's not true! Though, everyone but Sekai knew it was true. @kirito1337

Ah! This is not you! Come on! Get it together Sekai! Now is not the time to be sad! Be happy and enjoy yourself! Ignore the hurt and keep it moving! Wiping wet face with her left arm, the Hime carefully removed Ken's head from her lap and placed him laying on the couch. Walking on over in the direction of Mika and Minoru, she strided up and swiped a candy-cane from the deredere. "I see why you like candy so much. Helps brighten things up doesn't it..? Anyway, You did good Mika. I'm gonna go find Kaiyoto and see if he wants to sing a duet. Get ready cause we're gonna beat ya. Oh! If you see Ianari, let me know. I really hope he wasn't caught back at the restaurant.." A curt wave was given to Minoru as she traipsed out of the room to find the hiding musician. @Stew

Kaiyoto seemed spaced out for some time before snapping back a little bit after Sekai asked her question,

"Uh, yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He asks with a smile on his face, Kaiyoto was well at hiding things and he enjoyed that fact,

"It would be great to sing a duet with you!" The Bakadere joyed. Kaiyoto stood up and had a little bit of height on Sekai, maybe a good foot at least,

"Well, let's go!" He says before grabbing her hand and walking back into the room, Kaiyoto drags them both up on stage and switches out the CDs, putting in one that has the words "Plastic Beach" on it,

"Ready? You're going to sing first!" Kaiyoto says after handing Sekai a microphone and taking one in his own hand as well. The song starts with its keyboard melody which Kaiyoto had practically memorized from listening to it so many times.

Sekai couldn't help but laugh at Kaiyoto's choice of song in her head. It was definitely his kind of thing. Slow, island-ish, and clumsy, like he was forever tripping along the beach. It was thought she'd have to hit some especially high notes, but fortunately, she didn't have to embarrass herself like that. This song was right up the hime's vocal alley.

As the girl finished her part and listened to Kaiyoto continue on with his, a mischvious smile spread across her face. Nuh-uh. It's time to stop this little act of yours. As soon as he finished, Sekai bellowed into her microphone. "Amazing, amazing! Kaiyoto the musician wanted to wait until the end of the night to announce this, but I felt now would be the perfect time! He's actually a musician!" @Stew

Giving him a full set of pearly whites, the girl spoke more. "He even has a few albums if I'm correct. Isn't that great?" A laugh escaped from the girls throat, ringing throughout the room. "Okay everybody! It's starting to get late and I'll never forgive you all if I miss the fireworks!" Glancing at her phone, "We only have time for a few more songs. If you've been holding back, you better do something now or forever hold your peace!"

She looked around pointing at the non-takers. "Azami? Minoru? Ianari? The clock is ticking! Tick-tock!

@ViAdvena @Lycopene @The Doorman

After Kaiyoto finished singing, Kimura turned on another song. Kimura played the guitar along with the song, just perfectly matching it in the song. It just showed how good she actually was at playing. She sang the lyrics perfectly, not messing up a single little thing. All she knew was music, and she wasn't going to let her shyness take away that as well, like it did the rest of her life.

Halfway through the song, she begins falling asleep again, though keeps playing. She was back to a half asleep state, though continued on singing and playing. It was like she wasn't even the same person she was moments before.

(The Song Again ^^)

Minoru Daisuke

Munching further on the half-eaten candy cane, Minoru felt his teeth hurting as time passed. He knew that people eat candy canes through licking, however, he was oddly obsessed with the crunching sound of the candy cane inside his mouth. Nevertheless, Minoru was still aware of the conversations around him, much more to Mika’s suggestion which made him slightly froze. As much as he was curious on how to operate the karaoke machine by his own two hands, Minoru wasn’t really a fan of singing. He hasn’t even heard himself sing since grade school, how can he sing right now? What’s more, sing in front of the public?

No way.

Frantically, Minoru shook his head for a dozen times as his answer to Mika’s suggestion and went back to eating the remaining candy cane on his hand. Just then, the Himedere suddenly approached his direction. Minoru scooted over to avoid any possible conversation and mentally sighed in relief when she left after grabbing one of Mika’s candies. While she did slightly wave at the boy, Minoru merely ignored her and pretended that nothing happened.

After a while, Minoru noticed that the Bakadere had returned inside the room, the Himedere following after him. Both of them sang a duet which was pretty good in his opinion. However, what came after the song was a twist. The Himedere started talking about the Bakadere being a musician. Who would’ve known? Well, not him, but that explains why the Bakadere sounds like a pro. Once the girl announced that it was quite getting late, Minoru fished his phone out of his pocket and checked for himself, realizing that it was true. Worried about the well-being of his brother, Minoru began texting him without a care in the room as of now.
