Survey Corps
The year is 2333. The human race has depleted its resources on Earth and was forced to travel the vast unknown universe.
Its conquest became fruitful and after mastering interstellar travel, they were able to reach the vast unknown in a blink
of an eye. All the boundaries have seemingly been crossed. The mining expeditions were underway for new resources that
introduced new elements capable of evolving human beings to a superior race. Or so it seemed.
Story:
- Near the edge of the galaxy, the most renowned hotel lost connection to the mother base. It housed over 150.000
people. Many were well off, since a vacation of this scale was expensive. It was exotic, since it was a home to an ancient
artifact picked up from a planet marked 'NZ-48'. This artifact resembled a half moon, which levitated above the ground.
It's smooth texture was intertwined with openings across its body that gave off a light red glow in contrast to its black
coloring. Many visitors would touch its surface and feel pure ecstasy; all their chemicals surged a powerful current of
dopamine and serotonin. It seemed to rewire the brain for a brief period, while on contact and give out pleasure, whose
level was not obtainable by other means.
- The vacation ranged from half a year to a couple of years. The food and other items that were on the inventory
were brought to the hotel ('The Deep'), by a ship that traveled the route once a year.
That ship, which licence number read: 'FDC-665', has sent a disturbance signal, that the mother base picked up. The only
message that has been sent said the following: "Captain Jeremiah speaking. We can not contact The Deep. We have no
clearance to enter, though the docking gates are open. From what we can see some lights are on, which means they do have
electricity. We are scheduled to dock, so we will approach the hotel with that intention. We're awaiting further orders."
Sadly the Mother Base has not been able to contact them back. Soon after the message was sent, their comm's went offline.
- The Interstellar Repair Unit or IRU Menon has been sent with the Interstellar Tactical Division, or ITD.
Their mission is to establish communication with The Deep and resolve any issues that they might have.
On the IRU Menon were: - Pilot: Leo Thacker, Asian-American, 44 years old.
- Co-pilot: William Von Strauss, German origin, 31 years old.
- Engineer: Alan Reed, England, 26 years old and my main OC
- Senior Engineer: Boris Orloff, Russia, 63 years old. (Heavy accent)
- Doctor of Biology (the mystery party on board): Freya Bennick, Sweden, 25 years old.
- And your OC is left to fill in the blank.
Create your OC sheet, the basic of what he or she does, what's their job, age and you can add extra if you wish. I will be
adding the profiles of the characters in the PM's or on Discord before we start. It will be brief but enough. The rest I
leave for the story and as it unfold we will meet the characters better and the setting. For now I hope we can have some
