At this point it boils down to weighing the pros and cons. The "part of it will be missing because unplayed characters" problem is very minor/non-existent, as we are only at the very beginning and it can be easily changed to suit our purposes (This is also why new char. applications accepted after posting has started can slip in without breaking the flow!).


"We have been away from this for long" also does not really apply, since this factor only comes into being if the rp has been going on long enough that players may forget what they have posted. Two pages of posts doesn't come anywhere near.

With only two pages thus far, I agree restarting is pointless

Well, there actually is. Since you've been away form this for so long its better to start anew. Plus without those tow players part of it will be missing.

This was my thought exactly. But if you guys think it's pointless, I can go along with it.
