YEAR: 372 S.E. <<<<<<<<<
The year is 372, and you have never seen the night sky.

Centuries ago, The Final Sunset saw the end of the old world, plunging all things into a seven year darkness. A black winter engulfed the planet, hailed as the cataclysmic end to all things, but it was not to be. Throughout it all, humanity endured. Even as the cold hand of death crept across the planet, we prepared. The decades prior to Sunset saw mankind flock to great cities, built tall and strong, fortified to endure the end, and endure they did.

On the year 0 S.D. The Sun- the celestial bosom within which all civilization was raised, within the light of which our forefathers bathed- abandoned us. Limp and spent, it failed in its eternal duty, and threw us into the jaws of The Night.

For seven long years the world endured death's embrace. There were seven years of darkness, seven years of cold, seven years until light returned to the skies, never to leave us again.

The beginning of the Stellar Era was marked by the emergence of seventeen stars, burning bright and bold in the sky. Daylight and warmth returned to the world, and for the first time in almost a decade, a new day began. A day that would never end.

As the world approaches the fourth century of the Stellar Calendar, it stands changed completely. New nations mark new borders, great empires blossoming out from the seeds of the city states which once sheltered humankind from the storm. New bounties flourish across the face of the world, new Laws preside over old lands, bringing with them a spectrum of possibilities once thought the realm of pure fiction.

And, throughout it all, The Daylight War rages. The New Nations of the world march within the Light of their patron Stars, each imbued with a divine, celestial purpose. To see their savior, which garnishes the land with its blessings, to stand supreme in the skies. To become the New Sun, and bathe the world in its light.

Where you stand in all of this remains to be seen. Waylaid in whatever journey your life has set you on, you find yourself in the border town of Mark, nestled between the territories of one of the Stellar Empires and the neutral state of Campus Town. Here, the light of The Seventeen is muddy, and Laws which were never destined to meet intermingle with one another in a show of chromatic brilliance. The air buzzes with energy, and the tides of the coming century have already started to turn.

Your place in it unknown, you take another step forward. Another hour passes in the only day you've ever known.

Hi! Disaster here. I haven't made an interest check in a hot minute. Basically I'm looking for around ten players for an adventure-maybe plus mystery-maybe sort of RP. The pinboard lore kinda mystery, not the murder mystery kind. We won't be starting soon soon, but I will be inviting people to a discord server while I get things set up. Basically, I want to open the floor to players to include things within the lore that might be interesting to then incorporate into their characters. Nations and magic and history and stuff. Tech levels in my mind are, like, WW1 but with funny magic. Maybe there are aliens too. Probably not though. Vibes I'm thinking like Sunless Skies, Library of Ruina, Fear and Hunger 2, prob some other stuff I'm forgetting too.

Thanks for reading! Hope to hear from anyone who's interested in the pitch.
