Futuristic The Dawn Star

John Abraus

Nukes are strong-best comment ever.
For many years, humanity has wondered what life is like outside Earth, their homeworld. Many years has passed, and their world has been reduced to a almost inhabitable area. Because of this, Project NOVA has been launched. Several colony ships have been sent around the universe, finding their own home-worlds. Many years later, the universe becomes a energetic battleground. Alien species have been found. both hostile and friendly. This is your time to rise. Make your name remembered for thousands of years, and help your faction prevail.

Adrian sat laid back in his Captain's seat in the cockpit of "The Spectre", relaxed and whistling to himself with music playing in the ship, floating quietly in his lone little sector in the Odin 118 Star System. Being an outlaw can be a little relaxing, but the job of a hired gun is worth the chase. He tossed his personal pistol in the air as it flips and lands back in his hand. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and letting out a long sigh of relaxation, sooner or later, someone would appear after him, and sooner or later, he'll be there, ready to fight off and run away to another relaxed Sector in the Star System.

The Odin 118 System. Originally, a colony, it has managed, due to resources, produced a lively area. There are various ships in the distance, and three planets. Several peace keepers, the military, keep patrol nearby.

Adrian took a sip of some coffee but suddenly spat it when he saw some military patrol ships around the area. He switched some controls that turned off the music and the lights, turning the little ship into a floating crate in the darkness, or "tried to be turned into ." He turned down the engine, low enough that instead of a rumble, the engine turned into a low, quiet hum. He sat in his seat with his hands clenched on the controls, awaiting for any sudden movements at him.

The ship flies off, with the pilot relieved.

(Rules are out!)

Adrian took a huge sigh of relief as he sat back in his seat, leaving the lights off but turning on the music at really low volume then before. He took his cup of coffee from before and took a helpful sip, watching entertained as the scout ship took off unaware of him. He simply smiled as he watched it fly off.
