What do the officials do? Like what's their job?

They're like the head of the village. They lay down the law and enforce them. They also order the executions and such.

Just how does magic work? And what kind of time period is this in? Like medieval, modern, 1800s kinda thing? Like what's the time period that would describe the rp?

It's like the Salem Witch Trials but a bit different. So more of the 1800s. Magic is mainly just dark arts and such. Spells and all that. Books, etc.
