This is the updated list of those currently accepted. If your character is not on this list but you have submitted a CS to the sign-up page, then we are currently evaluating your character. If your character does not meet guidelines or we feel it does not fit within this Rp, we will PM you. However, if you've received no PM and are not on the list after 24 hours of character submission, please PM either me, Dragongal, or Unwavering Knight directly and we will get back to you ASAP.

Yeah, I'm with Bones on this one. This has to be either a joke or you didn't read the setting at all.

Funny times, funny times, funny times. Never read anything, total joke! I'll delete it right away.

@CallSign Yes, that was my intent, and I apologize for overlooking your CS. I am updating it. No worries!

I have a lot of work to do tonight... *Stares at screen, takes sip of coffee, puts on Slipknot on in the background* Lez do dis.

I'm really looking forward to this rp =^^=

-just realized I did not go to bed until 1:39 last night- Where does the time go...

Well, you know, without proper knowledge of Highnesses' intent and time escaping us, I think we should just start instead of trying to make things perfect. I for one, do not want to become overwhelmed so I feel for now, winging it will be our best option to begin, and after everyone has posted and has has a feel for everyone's characters, we can begin to create a more thorough plot line. I understand this is backwards, but, I feel this is the best way to get things going without too much stress.

Yay or nay?

I'm not entirely sure that's the best idea. I think we should either wait for more people to join or work things out with the people with pending apps.

Starting the rp now could deter others from joining; however, not starting the rp could cause people already signed up for it to leave.

I'm on the fence about it, whatever you want to do.

Just if we do start in now, make sure there is a post-order so things don't get too chaotic.

I too think we should wait for a few more people to come in. Have you thought about opening a thread in the Interest Checks forum to attract people?

Anyway, I think we are valuing HighnessReigns' opinion way too much. I mean, I joined the other original roleplay because it was one of the only available fantasy settings that seemed to have some effort put into it and didn't have horrible rules, not because of who the GM was. In fact, I didn't even know HighnessReigns until I joined the roleplay.

HighnessReigns only posted the Errand Boy's CS, the White Queen's CS, the Overview with the setting and an intro. I don't think none of those are sacred, and I personally think they could be butchered as much as we see fit. The idea of a dystopian city where social classes are isolated from each other with a powerless queen and a mafia lady queen sounds good, but I think that as long as that idea is conserved the rest can be restructured as much as you want.

However, since this is a Detailed Fantasy roleplay I think some sort of plot idea is necessary, specially if the setting is going to be controlled by the GM. Otherwise, it sounds like a recipe for disaster.

I don't mind waiting, I just think we should start when we are sure of what we want to do. If you need help rewriting the setting just tell us and we will gladly give ideas.

I'm vehemently against posting orders, especially in detailed RPs like this. If someone runs into a bit of writer's block and it's their turn, the RP will be halted entirely until people either get frustrated, they get over their block, or the RP dies.

Generally speaking, "Detailed RP" and "chaotic" go together like light and dark. They're practically diametrically opposed.

The whole reason the RP fell apart last time was too much reliance on the post order to move plot. I agree with Bones.

Oh really? Interesting, well hopefully we can figure out a way to limit the chaos because from my experience three people can be typing up posts then submit them at the same time, resulting in an chaotic moment that would need to get discussed in order for it to get resolved.

Discussion to resolve a conflict is common in all aspects of life itself. I don't see why it's such a problem in a simple game like roleplaying. Post orders, however, are an easy way to let a game die on account of one person. I'd prefer a bit of chaos over losing the chance to play altogether.

I am currently working with the pending applications right now. I meant to get this handled last night, but I fell asleep... I was just planning on starting today. I had hoped things would work out far better than they have, but so far things seem to be spiraling downwards. However, I will not give up so easily! Just, give me some time to think and to wait. Suggestions are more than welcome.

I will not result to a strict posting order as they end in disaster quite frequently, but, things shall not end in disorder either. You are completely right and I do think I will have to change the plot line rather than focus on how I feel Highness intended.

I just need some time and hope you all can forgive myself for inconveniencing you all and for feeling like walking in and taking over would be easier than it is.

Collisions in these types of roleplay are pretty rare since they all tend to move rather slowly. If there are any problems at any moment, they can be solved very easily in the OOC section, since I doubt anybody has a problem with adjusting a few things in their posts or simply retroactively inserting actions to older posts. After all, a great part of Detailed RP posts are descriptions and internal dialogue that require very little changes in these situations.

I think that as long as we are not godmodding or assuming actions and avoid different time scales (group one is on day 3, group two is still on hour 1) we will be good to go.

Okay. There are three main things that be done in order to fix our issues:

1st: A better description of every stein and the people/beings/society within them needs to be done. @Dragongal, I recall you saying you wouldn't mind doing this. Are you still up for it?

2nd: Specifics between the antagonists and protagonists need to be orderly and presented in a more functional and defined manner. Which I will do when I can. This will also mean more Neutral characters, whom of which will not be controlled by just me, but all of us, need to be created. If anyone wants to create bandits, powerful members who work for the queen who are stronger than individuals within the group, or named beasts and the like that would be controlled by all in specific instances, by all means, do so!

3rd: A plot line that can be followed needs to be addressed. Not just by letter that many can interpret differently, but a simple idea we can ALL understand. Suggestions are welcome, but I am also working on my own. (By this, I mean, we need to redo the overview. Not add or edit, but to strip it down and rebuild it from its core. As @Blumenkranz said in the PM I believe.)

*I know it's obvious, but having what needs to be done written out in this form allows myself to figure out how these things should and will be dealt with.*
