Yes, this is a fandom, albeit with original characters. There will be four main characters, high school students starting their senior year at Model High School in Rome, GA. The rest will be NPC’s created and run by members of the group. The members are:
Diane Miller: (My character)
The new girl in school, who arrives dressed like she got her clothes at Goodwill, dropped off at school by the company pickup of the local salvage yard. This instantly earns her the nickname Junkyard Jane, and a video of her arrival finds itself on Facebook by that evening. The next morning she discovers her guitar case left locked in the music department locker, filled with smelly garbage.

Diane has yet to have been through a ritual to awaken her powers. She is rather knowledgeable about magic - historically speaking, as well as terminology. But she doesn’t believe in magic, rather considers it superstition, coincidence, etc. She often refers to “working her magic”, but this refers to her skills.
The Other Characters
You will need to create the other three. Each one should have a reason for practicing magic. They do not need to duplicate the original film. Besides, the idea is for this RP to be open ended, not turn into a self destructive fight. One of the keys to the coven gathering real power will be trust. Diane is going to be very slow to trust except on a very shallow level. She has multiple secrets. Each of your characters could do the same.
Your three characters should already know one another and have created their coven. They, or at least their original practicing wiccan will sense the power in Diane and set sights on recruiting her.
This is intended as a small group. Any additional members will need the unanimous approval of the coven members. So submit any characters outside the main cast to all coven members.. Please understand that they may wish to keep the group small to avoid disruption.
Of the main cast of characters we will need at least one practicing Wiccan to lead / start the group. (If you are unfamiliar with Wicca this is not a good role for you. Folks, we do NOT need THREE leaders, just one. Whoever that is needs to be detailed and dedicated. This is really the person who should also approach Diane first unless another member is just a really good people person and is discrete. (Remember, this is the Deep South, the bible belt.)

These can be explained by coincidence or rational means. So long as you have been awakened you have them.
The more theatrical
These are what the coven will start to access once Diane is a part of the coven and has her power awakened. She already evidences some of these, though mainly the stuff that can be attributed to non magical sources - like her art. Once she joins, everyone should choose 1 or 2 specialties. This won't mean you can only do those two, just be better at those than the other skills.
Telepathy: I think this one should be allowed within the coven on a voluntary basis working much like a cellphone (minus voicemail and texting).
Model High School (That is the real name of the school)

There is also a Middle and Elementary School located right next to the High School. (They are on the map if you follow the Google Maps link. I like to use real locations.) Model High School has an above average bullying environment. But the region is not inner city. Rome, GA is a fairly rural area.
