  Aubry was born to two parents who were first generation Americans. Though their grandparents managed to find the American dream, her parents never did. Their mom struggled to keep jobs, and their father was unfaithful in marriage. One day Aubry came home, and their father had left them for another family. Soon after their mother attempted her own life. Luckily, she lived but is still in a mental health institute till this day. Aubry's grandparents ended up taking them in at the age of fifteen. The transition was hard, and Aubry acted out due to everything that had happened. The only thing that kept them together was playing piano with their grandmother. By seventeen their grandfather passed leaving them with just their grandma. Once Aubry hit eighteen and managed to graduate school Aubry left their grandparents wanting to do things find out who they really were. Most of the time Aubry ended up couch surfing, and hardly staying afloat. It was shortly after their 24th birthday, Aubry's grandma passed on as well. Aubry was the only grandchild and living family, so they ended up with an old theater once known as the Palace as an inheritance. Their grandparents had owned the building back in its hay days. Well since then the building has seen better days. Aubry took the building as an opportunity to turn their life around. That was five years ago. Since then, Aubry now rents out rooms in the building they have dubbed "The Coterie" a communal living space.

  The Coterie is a communal living space located Los Angles that has been operating for five years. A three-story building that once had an active theater on the ground floor, with living space on the second and third floor. There is even a beautiful roof top pool, that includes a garden. With seven bedrooms, one large co-ed locker room-like bathroom, and shared living space the occupants must learn to get along and share the space. From a shared fridge, chipping in for supplies, shared chores, and community work. This collective can have many of personalities in one space. The building itself is from the early 1900s, and the current owner Aubry has done her best to renivate the space. It has put her in debt but she powers through. Her goal is to get the theater up and running one day.

  Has everything you could need within walking distance thanks to being in Los Angeles. Everything from a local dive bar, to clubs, to a mall. You name it and it is there. Each week the coterie hosts a potluck for the occupants along with family and friends.

clara is... a lot. she's bubbly, she's hyper, she's in everyone's business all the time. clara has never known chill in her life. she's kind of a chatterbox, and gets along best with people who can at least halfway match her energy. she's always seen the glass half full. she likes to do things for people, she loves a grand gesture, and she tends to do things very overdramatically. since she was raised in the south, she has a southern twang when she talks and uses a lot of southernisms. she's definitely the epitome of a southern belle.

clara was raised smack dab in the middle of the bible belt in the south. her parents were both die-hard christians, and in turn, clara grew up very sheltered. as you can probably guess, nobody took the fact that clara was a lesbian very well. clara was put through quite a bit as a child because of this. all of her brothers -- beau (+6 years), colton (+4 years), and tanner (+2 years) -- practically shunned her for years. so of course, the minute clara turned 18, she was out of there. she'd always dreamed of being an actress (there's probably something deeper there, some need for escapism / to be someone else - but she would digress) so she flew out to the only place she knew she could accomplish this -- los angeles. she saw an ad for the coterie on a bulletin board and immediately applied. she's lived there for about 2 years now.

Brown Hair: Brown and lightly longer than ear length, he's been styling his hair the same way for as long as he can remember. Born with hair on the straighter side, he parts and brushes it down and hopes for the best. Used to straighten his hair in the morning as well, his hair is slightly fried from it (Never again). Jordyn would love to dye it but fears making it worse.
Body mods: He has lobe piercings in both ears and a few more on his right. A belly button piercing is potentially next in line. Jordyn has two small tattoos; a smiley face at the base of his right thumb and a star on either side of his lower abdomen.
Style: XX | One word: Baggy. There is not a single pair of skinny jeans in his closet.
