With blue eyes.

Costume Appearance: Nick coats himself in the metal he creates forming an armor of sorts.

Power: Inside Nick is small molecules of an unknown metal. He can will them to multiply and create pieces of the metal. It can act like a liquid and change its shape, but feels completely solid. The metal is magnetic, but this gives him certain advantages. He can adjust how strong the magnetism is as well at the polarity. This also gives him slight magnetic control.

Limitations: His magnetic control can only effect one object and can not be too massive. He can create a lot of the metal, but the more he makes the more concentration it requires to maintain. If any piece of metal no longer has a link to him, it will disintegrate, removing the possibility of ranged attacks.

Class: Neutral/unrevealed

Bio(2 paragraphs minimum): Nick was never much for large cities. He grew up in Main in a forest. It was rather secluded, but the internet did wonders to keep everyone in the area up to date on what was going on in the world. Everything was nice and simple. Then the Core smashed into the planet and things became a bit more complicated. They tried to ride it off like it was nothing until the power came back a few days later. Their power had been out longer than most so there was plenty to read about the event. His family took a trip to the nearest city and had their DNA tested and catalogued like they were supposed to, hoping to avoid military aggression. Nick was the only one in his family that was tested contender and the rest of them were normal. While they would need to be tested every 5 years, he would need tested annually until a definite result settled in. That was fine with him, until his powers set in.

It was just like any other day except he felt sick. He spent the day relaxing until around three in the afternoon. A strange metallic liquid started dripping out of his pores, but quickly disappearing when it no longer had any contact with him. Him and his family had seen some of the cruel things mutants had gone through in the news and just general information form the internet, so they all tried to keep him a secret. They helped him learn to control his power, but they all knew he would have to leave. There was just a little under a week until his next DNA check when he packed up and moved to New York City. He would be catalogued as a mutant not too long after he fell off the grid, but his main concern was what would happen when he was found. He then spent the next several years hiding and scavenging with a small group of mutants just waiting for something to happen.

Costume Appearance: Ella wears glass jewelry that she can manipulate into armor pieces if needed. She also wears a bracelet on her right hand that is made of glass but has glass tubing that connects to a vein in her wrist and channels through the bracelet to the other end of the tube causing an unnoticeable open wound that could be made of as just detailed jewelry.

Power: Ella's is genetically mutated. She can change the temperature and type of her blood as well. Basically blood manipulation. She can also manipulate an control glass.

Limitations: Ella has a few limitations with her powers. She can only manipulate blood if she has an open wound. So she can become very weak using her blood manipulation because of the blood loss. Also with blood, she can manipulate other people's blood but only if the person is recently dead or for a period of 5 minutes if living. For her glass powers, she needs to be near glass and the glass needs to be accessible (so like not bolted down).

Class: neutral/no side

Bio(2 paragraphs minimum):

Before the crash of the core, Ella was living in New York City as a college student in the visual arts. She had been a social bug in the school and many said that she was very caring and protective of all of her friends. She lived a very active life as well and lived with her roommate who was a performing arts major. They were both social media addicts and spent most of their time either online or working on school projects. To Ella, her life was perfect in every single way. Then the core crashed.

Ella and her roommate had been driving down town when the core hit. The sudden power outage had caused panic and Ella and her roommate had found themselves in a car crash. Sadly, Ella's roommate did not make it out of the crash alive. That is when Ella found out she was a mutant. She had been stuck in a huge car pile up and survived. According to the doctors it had been a miracle that almost all her blood had remained inside her. So after discovering her powers Ella learned to control them by the time the first DNA testing occurred. She did not want to get caught for she had seen what had happened to some of the mutants taken by the army. So when they tested her blood for the DNA sample, she manipulated her blood to mask the mutation, after learning what sequence the non-mutated blood was from a science major friend. Now Ella lives in a Manhattan safe house of mutants who rescue other mutants and hide them of the army if hunting them down.

(Okay this is my final CS sheet because I just couldn't get rid of the powers. I did change how they worked though.)

Costume Appearance: He wears a flashy leather trench coat with metal studs all over the place- very punk rock. On his left wrist, he has a gauntlet that resembles the strings and bridge of a guitar, with a small speaker attached to it. His right glove has spiked fingers that enable him to pluck the strings like he would on a regular guitar. He wears entirely soundproof headphones, and carries his violin with him everywhere.

Power: He has control over sound waves. He can make them high frequencies(shatter glass), incredibly loud(blow out eardrums), and can even disperse them to make no sound at all. He uses his gauntlet and violin to produce these sounds, as well as his enemies voices.

Limitations: His powers effect him just as much, if not more so, than other people. His headphones protect him from the sounds, but if he looses them, he cant fight without risking himself harm.

Class: Villain

Bio(2 paragraphs minimum): Alexander was born in Los Angeles, living with his actor father and musician mother. He was always obsessed with music as he grew up. He was playing guitar and violin from the age of 5, and soon composing music when he was 10. People claimed that he would be the next Mozart, the next young musician that would go down in history. He formed his own band, but then realized that no one his age was at his caliber of musical skill. He ended up becoming the Concertmaster of the LA Phil, and the lead guitarist in a small time band. He was on his way to fame and fortune.

That is, until, the core hit. His powers came gradually at first- his amps suddenly spiking in volume, his violin making no sound at all. Then, when he was practicing with his band, the sound got so loud that it blew up his amp. The rest of the band quit, leaving him to figure out how to control this power. He moved back in with his family, and was cataloged as a mutant, as well as the rest of his family. Sadly, his family was killed by an anti-mutant group, decapitating them in front of him. Something inside his brain snapped- he suddenly knew how to control his powers, but also became bent on hurting others, and living for himself. He formed an underground crime syndicate that hunts down members of anti-mutant groups.

Power:

Mist walker – Vittra can turn invisible provided there is at least a noticable amount of gas, smoke, dust, mist, steam, you name it, in the area where she is (henceforth I will just call it mist). If there is enough mist she can even walk in it as if there were stairs, allowing her to move almost freely inside it. Mist will not block her own line of sight. She can not create mist of her own, but is known to use home made smoke-bombs to enable her powers even if there is no mist present.

Another strange perk she has is that she can sense if steel (but no other metal) is close by, as if she could scent it.

Limitations:

Despite having a great deal of advantages in mist, Vittra is affected by any sort of gas or smoke just the same as any other person would. Meaning, that if she travels in fire smoke for example, she would be unable to breath and suffer from smoke in her lunges. She would also still be very much boiled if she jumped into too concentrated hot steam, and so on.

In addition to this, her powers stops working entirely if her skin touches steel (Note that this is not true for other metals such as silver, gold or iron). At the touch of steel she would also feel extreme pain, and if extended she will suffer from paralyzis. As soon as she no longer touches the steel her powers would return but the pain (and paralyzis) would probably linger for a while.

Class: Villain

Bio:

Valerie grew up as an ordinary girl in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Her biggest interest growing was gymnastics and various forms of dance. She more or less lived a normal life, and had just got a job as a dancer on a showgroup in New York when the core hit. About that time was the first time she noticed it all; when she suffered a heavy and instant allergic reaction upon touching a pair of scissors (steel). After that incident the shiver upon being close to steel and scream in pain by touching it. It didn't take long before she was registered as a mutant, but since her powers hadn't shown properly yet (only her weakness to steel) she was not deemed neither a threat nor a resource and was let go but with the mutant-stamp in her identification.

After she was officially a mutant she was thrown out of her prejudice dance group. Without a job she had to live of her savings (which wouldn't last forever) – the future looked grim. But then she started noticing that her powers were far more than just a weakness to steel. So she tried using her powers to get by, this soon lead to theft, trickery and criminal way of life. It didn't take long before she had a name on the street - Vittra.

(Because I just can't seem to work with color at the moment. Her hair is coppery red, her eyes are grey/green in color, and her skin is fairly pale- apricot toned.)

Costume Appearance:

Erin wears a black turtleneck with a dark gray vest over the top, dark blue jeans and a satchel complete her usual vigilante outfit. Why take the time to dress up, anyway? Sometimes she'll wear a mask that covers her eyes so that people don't recognize her quite as easily.

Power: Object Possession

Erin can combine her DNA with that of other objects in the way where she becomes one with the object. The possessed object still remains mostly the same- if she possesses a box it's still a box, her cells are just mixed in with the box's. She really can't do much when she possesses a box, truly.. she is merely hidden from sight. When she possesses something like a telephone she can listen in on phone conversations and she's been working on projecting her own voice through the phone but has had no luck on that as of yet... when she becomes an object she's no longer able to speak or move until she removes herself from the item.

The one exception to the lack of movement is when the object can move on it's own. So say a car- she would be able to get the engine working and drive that vehicle by possessing it. She's messed around with some toy cars and robots as well and can make them function but she's limited by the power and abilities of the object itself. So if she's possessing a toy car she can only go as fast as it's top speed and if the battery runs out, the car is going to die and she's not going to be able to make it move anymore.

Mainly Erin's ability is good for hiding and ambushes- her ability is not entirely useful when it comes to hand to hand combat-unless, miraculously, there is some sort of giant robot lying around. Her ability is also good for dodging attacks by merging with the object but if the person she's fighting lands a hit on the object she takes physical damage.

Erin has also attempted animal possession but the problem is the mind of the animal overpowers her own- she loses herself within the creature's mind. She's only ever tried this once with a dragonfly and she struggled for hours after the possession to release herself from the insect. She knows better now- nothing that has a working mind of it's own (artificial intelligence aside, because that can be reprogrammed).

On the side of possessing technology like a computer or a television, something made up of lights and programming there's really not much she can do. She can shift through files on a computer but if something is password protected and she doesn't have the password, she can't magically decode it. In fact, when she possesses a computer she becomes pretty much like a file within it- dangerous because if she get's deleted she's done... no more Erin.

Limitations: Erin is limited by the item she possesses. On top of that she has a time limit and a size limit. Anything larger than a regular sized car (so say a house) she wouldn't be able to possess... so she can't just magically slip into a wall in the house, though she can if there's a screw visible somewhere. She can also only stay in the possession for a short amount of time. The longer she stays inside of an object the harder it is to remember who and what she is... Her mind kind of melds with the object... so if she stays too long she'll simply become the object- she won't be herself anymore. The larger the object, the shorter the time she can possess it. A vehicle she can possess for about an hour- then she has to leave the possession and regain her mind fully (which takes about an hour as well) before she can possess it again.

Class: Vigilante

Bio: Erin was a pretty regular kid- she grew up with a pretty normal family, one that was always pushing her to do sports and get good grades and join all the extracurricular activities she could fit into her schedule. She wasn't ever the best at anything but she was mediocre at a lot of things... She was never the secret weapon on any of her teams but she made an integral supporter, going in for the girls that were exhausted and not doing a terrible job in the game. She grew up in a smaller town in New York, far from the city itself- and that's the way her family liked it... but she had always loved the city lights and the busy life there. She had just been about to graduate a college in the heart of the city, just about to start a life that she had always dreamed of- working at a newspaper publisher- when The Core came into the picture.

Erin may not have been one of the first to mutate but she was in that first group so that when she was first tested, she was cataloged as a mutant. She first discovered her actual ability when staring at a pencil... and then all of a sudden having a completely different view of the world... for a second she had thought she had shrunk and it was the shock of it all that actually drew her back out of the object. At first things didn't seem all that bad... she wasn't taken away for experimentation at least... But then no one would hire her, no one wanted to give her the chance- degree or not. Her life fell to pieces after that- she cut contact with her family from her shame at being what she was, she cut contact with everyone really. After a month or so of roughing it on her own Erin refound herself when she got in the middle of a store robbery and caught the robbers (Hooray for sneak attacks- via dropping down from a lamp over head and landing hard on the one offending thief.

Being a vigilante doesn't entirely pay the best (or at all) so Erin works on the side as a hired hand- able to spy on telephone conversations for those people who can afford her price (she's made herself fairly well established with the shadier people in the city). Erin doesn't feel entirely great about what she's doing, but she's locked the part of herself that cares away in a box. Right now it's about survival- she can feel guilty later.

Costume Appearance:

Power: To control the dead

Limitations: He has to be near the dead he is controlling, has to focus on it, and cannot control more than one at a given time.

Class: Military force

Bio(2 paragraphs minimum):

Conner was abandoned by his father when he was very young, bouncing around foster homes and families until he finally ended up with an influential family centered in New York. He got along very well with the other children in the family and was eventually adopted until there was a house fire and the second eldest son died when he was seventeen, flipping the family's world upside down. Things got worse over time, and eventually he ran away to the close by New York City, keeping in contact with none of the people he had known, turning to drugs as a way to forget.

He doesn't really remember anything real from the day the meteor fell as he was on a bad trip when it occurred. After the meteor crashed, he began to feel a close connection to dead things- the more recently dead, the more drawn to it he was. When it was revealed that there would be tests for mutations, he didn't really think much of getting tested, feeling his new-found interest in dead things was just morbid curiosity. Needless to say, he was pretty shocked to discover he was a mutant. He was shipped off to a military camp, where he got clean in a fairly unpleasant way. It was in a similar way he officially discovered his power. It was the first time he'd seen a freshly dead human as well as his first time in combat, and it just tugged at him, drawing his focus away from everything else. He touched it, and could suddenly feel it's weight and control it. It was like any skill, and the more practice he got the better at it he became.

Personally, he sees nothing wrong with the government's reaction to mutants, happy that he simply has a place to go.

Class: Anti-hero (Or should I put villain?)

Name: Erin Loviatt
Code Name: Plain Sight

(Started out as a joke, then she established herself and it's a little permanent now-much to her chagrin)

Age: 22

Gender: Physically Female (Identifies as BiGender)

Appearance:

View attachment 99026

(Possibly Temporary Pic, depending on whether not I can remember how to draw properly)

Accepted. Sorry, I pressed reply on the wrong post earlier.

It has started. If any of you have yet to make a character but are still interested there is still plenty of room.

Name: Byron Evans

Code Name: Chain Snake

Age: 21

Gender: male

anime-boy-cool-wallpaper-3-1-s-307x512.jpg

Costume:

cd020e21220998501eb8463140843c9c.jpg

Powers:

#Enhanced condition (+sixth sense)- Byron's physical condition was enhanced in such a way that he can be compared to Olyimpic gold-medalists and he needs absolutely no maintaining to keep it this way. He can bench press up to 300 kg with no equipment (no bench press shirt), lift up to 220 kg above his head for roughly a minute, run at a maximum speed of almost 10 m/s and perform long jumps of about 8 meters, high jumps of 2.20 meters and standing high jumps of 1.70 meters, while also possesing very high levels of agility, dexterity, durability, stamina and a punching speed of ten punches per second (with both hands). He also has a sixth sense (danger intuition) and combined with his physical condition he can dodge point blank firearm shots to some extent, but only from one person at a time.

#Unusual chain manipulation- Byron can generate and manipulate chains made from an unknown metal which is non-magnetic and is slightly more durable than steel. He can use these chains as whips, surround his body with them to use the chains as armor, use them to climb walls in a way or another or simply restrain others with them. The maxium speed at which he can move the chains is equal to half of the peak speed of arrows ( 50 m/s).

Limitations: people who have good enough reflexes and high enough levels of agility can dodge his chains. The chains can also be melted with a high enough temperature, turn britle and shatter under extreme cold and they can only reach a maximum radius of 50 meters. Regarding his sixth sense/danger intuition: he can only feel the danger a few seconds before happening and only regarding himself.

Class: antihero (unlike a traditional hero, he lacks conventional qualities such as idealism and morality)

Bio: Byron was always interested in training both his body and mind, so that he could become an outstanding police officer one day and he always gave his all to be the best in his class, in the city of Washington. He would study alot and train his body while also practicing kenpo and aikido. Beliving he was strong, Byron never feared anybody. One day when he got home , he heared the scream of his mother and went to see what happened. Two muscular masked criminals entered his house, murdered his father and attempted to rape his mother. He was 17 back then and he belived himself to be was quite an outstanding fighter because of his martial arts training. But he was controled by rage and simply charged against the two criminals. While he did put up a fight against the two, they eventually stabbed him with a knife and then knocked him off,. Fortunately, his mother managed to escape and her calls for help caught the attention of the neighbours and the criminals decided to scram. His father was dead and his mother was in state of shock . A year later, the criminals where caught by the police. Even if Byron awaited justice, for some reason the criminals let free because of lack of evidence. The justice Byron belived in failed him . He became angry and even more depressed and sad.

Another two years later when he was 20, Byron was hit by a mysterious shockwave which greatly enhanced his physical condition, changed his eye color from light brown to red, made his pupils become slit-shaped and gave him the ability to control chains made from an unknown metal, while also making him develop a sixth sense. He found out it was because of a mysterious object which simingly fell in the Pacific Ocean. Byron took the event as a sign: if the so-called justice of America was rotten, then he should belive in his own justice. After a year of training and understanding how to use his powers, Byron belived he was ready. His mother was never the same after his father's death, always gloomy , always silent, always sad, until one day when she remarried with a kind man. Byron convinced his mother that he needs to change his life and went to New York, where the two criminals resided. Even if he was tested and catalogued as a mutant, Byron made it so that people only knew he was able to control and generate chains, without letting others find out about his enhanced condition , therefore people weren't interestested enough to take him away for experiments. As he arrived to New York he found the two criminals, and to his utmost joy they didn't become mutants. He beat them up to a pulp, broke their hands and legs and gauged out an eye from each of them but let them live. They never knew who he was because he was wearing his costume. He took the secret identity of Chain Snake and decided to become a vigilante and help people when the rotten system of America didn't give them what they deserved. In the day he is an university student, learining languages so he could operate in more countries in the future, but when it's needed he puts on his costume and goes on a... hunt.

Powers:

#Enhanced condition- Byron's bodily functions are enhanced above the pinnacle of human conditioning; his strength, speed, stamina, senses, agility, reflexes, accuracy, longevity, durability, healing time, flexibility and combat skills are 2 times grater than those of a human in peak condition. Examples: he is strong enough to lift up to 1 ton and his speed is roughly 30 m/s (108 km/h). The rest of his capabilities are higher than those of Olympic gold medalists by 3 or 4 times. He also has a sixth sense (danger intuition).

#Unusual chain manipulation- Byron can generate and manipulate chains made from an unknown non-magnetic metal, which is three times more durable than steel. He can use these chains as whips, surround his body with them to use the chains as armor or simply restrain others with them. The maxium speed at which he can move the chains is equal to the peak speed of arrows ( 100 m/s). Whoever gets hit by his chains loses balance for 10 seconds.

Limitations: If he is careless enough someone else can use his chains to hit him and make him lose balance and people who have good enough reflexes and high enough levels of agility to dodge peak speed arrows can also dodge his chains. The chains can also be melted with a high enough temperature (at least three times higher than the one required to melt steel) and they can only reach a maximum radius of 50 meters. Regarding his sixth sense/danger intuition: he can only feel the danger a few seconds before happening and only regarding himself.

No way will i ever accept this. I will let you be that strong if strength is your power. I would let you be that fast if your powers is speed. The more you have, the less powerful each of them need to be. The chains are simular to my power, but i dont need much on that. However, you can not say someone will be off blanace for 10 seconds after being hit. You are hitting them with chans, not tazing them. Your limitations also do not balance out your powers at all. One third of your limitations is the chains can be melted, but no one will ever be able to melt them when it matters so it is uselelss. This characters requires major editations.

Power: Cheshire Cat Physiology: Use the traits of Cheshire Cat: Air walking, abilities of a cat just a little enhanced, can transform into a cat, and Intangibility.

Limitations: Can only air walk when she is in her cat form. May need to hold her breath while inside solid objects.

Class: Hero

Bio: Alice was born in New York City her father runs a very big talent agency . She also has 3 younger brothers, they are triplets. Being part of such a rich family and being part of the entertainment business they had act and be a certain way which Alice didn't like. She was always getting fussed about acting more like a lady. Alice was more of the sporty type and always loved playing different sports she even wanted to learn karate. But her mother wouldn't let her. She also loved comics she would read about her favorite super heroes, she wished she could be like that. One day her wish came true. All of sudden she started to feel different and started to notice strange things she could do. She is now part of the heroes society. Something she always wanted question is will she always be able to do what is asked of her?

Alice is a very brave, bold, daring, courageous, stubborn, rebellious and headstrong girl who does not fit the stereotypical proper rich girl role. She is very athletic and enjoys practicing wit her powers and fighting abilities. She tends to be ungraceful and has bad manners, and is extremely tomboyish. She is very energetic, free spirited.
That is not exactally what I meant. I need some limitation that keep her from eing intagable through a fight excpet for when she hits back.

I edited him . What do you think now?

@Shog

By the way, while I really dislike being a grammar nazi, as a language student I just can't help it: the word 'editations' isn't really a word...it doesn't even exist. What you wanted to say was 'This character needs some major editing/editings'. Don't hate me for this.

Accepted. Though I now feel like you jumped to the other side of the scale, so if you want to add something just talk to me about it. I'm also ok if you put the magnetism back to the way it was before should you so desire.

^What she's wearing.

Power: Alison has the ability to absorb one form of energy and convert it into another form of energy such as absorbing life energy and converting it into light energy. Although taking energy from something living could have side effect ranging from either just getting tired to shortening the life span for the living thing, but only on extreme situations. When the energy is going into her, it stores itself into her veins. Energy is like sugar for someone with Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar.

Limitations: Well Alison's power can't do much except for absorbing energy and converting it or transferring it. Unless there is something with energy within her reach, she's merely just a powerless human. She also feeds off the energy, like eating or drinking water. If she can't eat, her last resort is to absorb some energy to keep her going.

Class: Alison isn't much of a hero, but she's not much of a villain either. She's an average person.. who likes to steal from time to time.. don't hate.

Bio:

Before the core had struck, Alison lived a normal life. She had just begun her second year of college life, still living off of the simplicity of cup noodle and working hard to pay off student loads. Alison lived by herself in a studio apartment, barely affording it may I add. She had no intimate relationships, just kept to herself and the little world of hers. A small but close group of friends she held dear to her and her family who supported her every step of the way. Before summer could end, her group of friends decide to take their annual -well since of last year- road trip. But before they could reach their destination, they stopped at a rest stop on the outskirts of New York City but took off without her. Abandoning her in the middle of no where. It was there that Alison understood that no one matter how dear you hold someone, or anyone for the matter, it doesn't last.

After walking, hitchhiking rides, and using all the money she had on her, Alison made it to the Big Apple. She took on small part time jobs, but some of the managers asked for a blood sample which Alison refused. It was strange, why would they ask for a blood sample. Looking around, she realized there were more homeless people 'I guess the economy is going down' she just though and brushed it off. It wasn't until she saw a broadcast on TV that she finally understood what was going on. Something called a "Core" had hit and people started gaining powers, labeled mutants. The government were looking for all the mutants, taking blood samples. Next morning after another part time job, she decided to get her blood tested. She was sure she wasn't a mutant, she didn't feel any different, just a little weak. "Positive" was labeled on the paper that was handed back, that made her heart skip a beat. But seeing the words "Mutant" below it made her sick to her stomach. All jobs soon started to close on her and even the motel manger refused to give her a room. With only $63 in her pocket, homeless, a mutant who doesn't even know much of what her power is, and stuck with stealing to live, the world is really a cruel place.

(is this a little better? sorry the last draft wasn't very good, I still need to get into the groove of things)

From time to time, if she does not absorb some form of energy, or absorbs too much, she cracks. Instead of eating anymore, she just absorbs energy from living things since energy from machinery doesn't "taste" good in a sense. Like a vampire but instead of blood it's energy.

Bio(2 paragraphs minimum):

When the core struck, it all changed. Still abandoned at the rest stop, Alison heard it, a loud siren from a few police cars zooming by and then something sharp hit her, looking down her blood trickled down her neck onto her lap. Waking up in a dark room, looks like the government had captured her. She was in a cage, along with a few hundred other people in cages as well. Once they found out her power, they could use it to their advantage. Forced her to absorb as much energy as they had left and powering their facilities until she was burnt out again. They didn't care for her well being, didn't even bother with her name, they gave her a new name; Subject 009. The tedious process continued for as long as she could remember, the torture, the people crying, everything was terrible. But one night, she didn't, or couldn't absorb anymore energy. They thought she was broken and threw her back into her cage, where she cracked. Her body released a tremendous amount of energy, causing an earthquake in the area. All the damage and death she saw, but she never looked back. Alison just ran, and ran, and ran. Almost everyone died in that facility that night, they even announced Subject 009 dead.

(Let me know if I need to change anything, or even if I'm too OP or anything)

So first I need to know you read the rules. Second, the government does not randomly abduct mutants and experiment on them. They will force them to their limit in the military and try to track each and every one of them, but nothing like you said. The Black Fist might, but that would also take time to form. I also think your power is ok, but I am confused on one thing. Does she need to have energy going into her when she converts it, or does she "store" it?
