Name: Eyvahn Tal'nor

Age: 41

Gender: Male

Mutations: Bat

Eyvahn and his people, the Chiropterans, have membrane-like wings, akin to a bat and are capable of unassisted flight. Their sense of smell, sight, taste and sound are naturally higher than the average person without cybernetic assistance. In particular, their sense of hearing is by far the most enhanced. Their eyes are capable of seeing in near pitch darkness but lack the ability to see colors as well as most. These heightened senses have the obvious downfall of being exploitable. Sonic attacks can render them incapacitated. Along with flash bangs or even regular sunlight is hard to deal with without proper equipment.

They have sprouted fur along the neck, forearms, and lower body to resist the cold temperatures of high altitude flight. While they may not be able to fly as long as a feathered counterpart or as fast, their webbed appendages are sturdy and muscular. This makes them more resilient to damage and easier to mend when torn. The wings are also far more flexible which makes more maneuverable and agile in the air.

Like their avian competition, they have larger lung and heart sizes compared to other mammals. This is partially due to high altitude flights but mostly due to the oxygen efficiency needed to achieve lift and sustained flight. Chiropteran bones are not hollow like a birds and while they can fly for hours at a time, it is not their main form of travel. It is akin to a human being running or jogging everywhere they went. A well trained athlete can run for a very long time but it's not the primary method of travel and they will get tired.

While hard to see under the fur, the Chiropteran people still have fingers at the end of their arms. They are not as dexterous as normal human fingers, however, and are made to perform more rudimentary tasks. They are capable of more basic functions but struggle to use keyboards or play instruments.

They no longer have normal feet. As previously stated, they are covered in fur and the toes have now turned into sharp, curved talons. They are used to grab and rend anything they grip. Along the ends of the wings and fingers are clawlike appendages that can be used to gouge in grounded, close quarters combat. They are also used to hook into other flying opponents or prey.

These mutations cause them to be much larger and much more muscular than a normal person to be able to fly. They stand at nearly 7 ft on average and don't store fat in their bodies very well. As a result, they suffer more than most at freezing temperatures, despite their resistance to cold. Chiropterans also have greatly increased stamina and strength thanks to this.

Personality:

Eyvahn is a man of intensity and very few words. He is someone who would prefer to let his actions speak infinitely louder than sweet words ever could. Preferring to remain silent, observe, and take decisive action when the situation calls for it. That being said, he isn't brutish or slow. He is intelligent and calculating, which ties into his preference for silence and stoicism. He believes that not letting others know what lies behind your exterior is how one can find the best routes in life. Because when you aren't speaking, you're listening to everything around you.

Despite stoic demeanor, he is fiercely loyal and quick to defend those he considers part of his inner circle. A privilege only available to very few. Whether you need an eye in the sky, a buddy in a bar brawl, or someone to fly you across town because you're late for a date, Eyvahn is always the first to respond and the last to leave you behind.

Biography:

Eyvahn comes from a long line of Chiropterans who offered their wings to the military service. 12 generations worth to be exact and Eyvahn's family was no exception. They accrued a steady amount of wealth and accolades and gained a reputation for being a fierce and loyal bloodline in service of Centrice. With their mutations being as extensive as they were, it was difficult to be accepted anywhere. Which makes the accolades that they earned that much more impressive.

By the time Eyvahn was born into the Tal'nor family, his remaining family members were well decorated officers in Centrice's military. It is said that the genes between the union of his parents was good enough to spark another minor mutation in their eldest son. Eyvahn was well ahead of the curve when it came to Chiropteran maturation. He was walking, talking, jumping and even attempting to glide months before expected for any Chiropteran child. While this may have been cause for some concern to normal parents, it only caused the hearts of Tal'nor to swell with pride and expectations. It meant they could begin his training far earlier than originally planned and have their family name rise higher in the ranks than ever before.

Eyvahn was raised with full expectation to go into the military. His parents giving him personal lessons as we'll as private training lessons with masters to be better prepared for his excursions. High altitude reconnaissance, marksmanship, close quarters combat, search and rescue, survival training, demolitions, sabotage, and guerilla warfare was drilled into him from the moment he was capable of performing them without extensive injury.

His family expected nothing less than excellence and any failures were met with harsh punishment and reconditioning. During his adolescent years, he thought of escaping multiple times. Planned it out, made schematics, documented the behavior patterns of his family and their staff, and even bought the materials necessary for his attempt. The only thing that kept him from going through with it was his intuition. The feeling that he fought with time and time again. That he knew there was no escaping them. Eyvahn was very intelligent and cunning but it was his parents that tought him all he knew. He was talented. Far more than they were at his age but they had years of wisdom and experience that trumped him at every turn. Even he could escape the estate by some miracle, there was no way he would be able to evade two elite military Chiropterans and all of the assets at their disposal. It was hopeless. So, he ultimately decided to retire the idea and give it his all to become independent from them as soon as possible. By earning his own accolades and medals so that he could stand apart from them.

Needless to say, by the time Eyvahn was recruited he was a whole head and shoulders above all of the fresh recruits. Both in experience and quite literally. His hellish march through childhood and adolescence turned out in his favor. He quickly proved his worth to his superiors and rose through the ranks until he was being dropped in specialized pods of his own to rain hell upon the enemies of Centrice. He was one of the youngest shock troopers to ever be deployed and one of the few who made it back after his first drop.

He has now been in the service for over 15 years and he is a trusted elite operative with many successful missions and drops under his belt. He is often teased about being well passed normal retiring age but Chiropterans don't age at the same pace as the average person and he is still in his prime. He has turned down multiple promotions to upper officer ranks simply to avoid returning to his "home".

He has received multiple marriage interview requests from his family so that he can continue the Tal'nor legacy. The only condition was for him to be promoted high enough that he would no longer need to be active in the field.

So, he stays roaming the skies of the battlefield. Both for his brothers and sisters in arms and to avoid the fate that awaits him once it's all said and done. Simply put, he would rather die in battle than raise a son or daughter in the same conditions he was raised in. He harbored no ill will towards his parents as they were raised the same way and their parents before them and so on. It was all they knew.

Equipment:

Primary Weapon- VK DMR MK. II

A semi-automatic marksman rifle specifically fabricated for Eyvahn's use. Based on an older model that his great grandmother used, this weapon is highly reliable and rarely ever jams. Water, sand, mud, hot, or cold, this rifle is able to continue firing through it all.

It is capable of making pin-point accurate shots on infantry and enemy armor alike during high speed flight (provided the user is skilled enough). It carries rounds that is more than enough to drop infantry in one or two shots and capable of firing AP rounds for well placed, debilitating shots on enemy armor. Each magazine has 25 bullets in them

Regular ammo- 5 mags
AP ammo- 2 mags

Armor-

Armored Widow Flight Suit (Wing coverage modification)

An insulated, aerodynamic suit that lets Eyvahn fly at his maximum potential for an extended period of time. It has been modified to protect the bones in his wings and to fit over his clawed feet.

It also has a built-in, light bending camouflage system that allows Eyvahn blend into the sky, so enemies have a difficult time seeing him with the naked eye. Similar to a great white shark's belly. The helmet is capable of scanning its surroundings in Infared, locating high electrical outputs, scanning and locating weaknesses in enemy armor, and long range communication. This also includes a HUD that filters information by priority. It is also capable of acting as a buffer between his incredibly sensitive senses and the outside world. Without gear, the sound of a gunshot in the immediate vicinity would cripple him. His helmet filters both sounds over a certain decibel and most forms of light sources, including sunlight.

It is capable of taking most small arms fire without too much trouble but was not built with taking punishment in mind, instead prioritizing stealth and agility. It's integrity will be compromised faster than standard
Einherjar/Valkyrie armor but doesn't impede his shocking speed.

Combat knife

Demolition charges- 2

Aerial dispersal drop pod-

Eyvahn's drop pods are specific in that they break apart and ejects him once it enters the upper atmosphere, allowing him full control of his descent via his wings.

The Chiropteran carries extra ammo, survival tools, and emergency medical equipment that is also dispersed and lands near the LZ for emergencies. Eyvahn can see its location on his HUD

Standby supplies- Eyvahn has been on many different types of missions and this is his standard set up. He has many more options for gear that he keeps as back up at base for missions that call for specific tasks to be done.

Arch Angel Battlesuit (flight assisted)-

A heavily armored aerial battlesuit made custom for Eyvahn's usage. This suit sacrifices a great amount of agility and speed to turn the mutant into a flying death machine.

It is far too heavy for Eyvahn to achieve lift by himself. So it boasts twin boosters on the center of his back to assist with flight.

The Arch Angel suit is capable of taking much more bullets than Eyvahn's primary outfit and can carry more ammunition with heavier weaponry.

The helmet boasts the same capabilities as the Widow helmet but with a much smaller visor. This restricts the Chiropteran's field of view to about 120 degrees in front of him.

Due to the boosters requiring fuel, Eyvahn is on a timer the moment he deploys in this. Only able to maintain flight for about an hour at full throttle. Any fancy acrobatic maneuvers place more strain on the fuel supply and cuts down on his fly time.

When the flight time runs out, the suit doubles as heavy infantry gear and works as originally intended. Eyvahn's natural strength allows him to move a little faster than the average person but he still sacrifices a large amount of his vision and speed.

Titan Slayer-

A heavy anti-material rifle built for piercing the hull of enemy heavy armor like mechs, tanks, and vehicles. It's slow firing, loud, weighty, tank buster rifle that requires the user be anchored down and wearing weighty armor to help bury the recoil of the massive gun. It's rounds also have to be manually chambered after every shot.

It goes without saying that the Titan Slayer and its ammuntion slow the user down immensely and should only be used if there is going to be a large presence of enemy armor.

Vector "Guano" MK. VI-

An automatic assault rifle capable of mid range engagements with a high magazine capacity. It was designed with suppression and long engagements with infantry units. It has been nicknamed "Guano" by friendly soldiers because they joke about Eyvahn shitting on the enemy with it from above.

Liberator MK I -

A powerful, reliable, semi-automatic handgun that is useful in a pinch when nothing else is available.

Thermite Charges

EMP Charges

Fragmentation Grenades

Flashbang Grenades

Smoke Grenades

Tear Gas Canisters

Infared Target Markers

Flares

Repair Kits

Name: Ian Autumnall;
Age: 37;
Gender: Male;
Mutations: Sensory Overhauls - Ian possesses hyper-enhanced senses, anything from smell to taste is enhanced 100x that of an unenhanced individual. He can discern several smells from across the room, hear a pin drop in a pillow, feel the vibrations from an explosion across the street, see an ant carrying a leaf on the other side of a rooftop. Obviously, this means that he has to dull his senses or else, they'll overload his mind and find it difficult to concentrate. Smokes, alcoholic beverages, eye-straining etc help him minimise these ordinarily useful benefits.

Personality: Ian Autumnall is the quintessential douchebag. He's arrogant, rude, and doesn't take shit from anyone except his superior officers. His nature likely stems from the fact that his father is a descendent from a noble family in the Dominion. Though that doesn't excuse his overall attitude. The man throws insults left and right, demeans the enemy and sometimes comrades. Frequently drunk when not on duty. But he shouldn't be underestimated, his arrogance isn't without recitals. He is a skilled combatant and fighter, a fact which he will then rub into your face. Despite his boisterous attitude, he frequently partakes in reading as a hobby. And he is exceptionally cagey when you start talking about his past with him.

Background:

Descending from a line of knights and nobility within the Dominion, Ian Autumnall has casted off his family's crests and creed to fight for the Democratic States. Much of his early life is filled to the brim of formal mannerisms, attire, and condensation. Every day he can recall when he was beaten, slapped, or 'corrected' by his etiquette educator. The young child could seldom do anything of his own volition, even his friends were predestined for him. Coupled with the fact that his mutation spontaneously emerged before his tenth birthday which overwhelmed him enough to be put into a coma. It made his situation even worse. His siblings, older or younger, began teasing him for his evident mutation. Whether they had mutations of their own, could not be said as they were too well-hidden.

During his teenage years, Ian finally snapped and abandoned his family's estate. Utilizing his cunning and enhanced senses to avoid detection. He had managed to sneak away into one of the Centrice states, where he found solace at last, free from prying eyes. Much of his time was spent from low-paying jobs to bars, smokes, and other addictive substances. All just to dumb down his unique senses, and of course, to enjoy himself.

Eventually, during one drunken escapade, he duked it out with a military recruiter who took a liking to his spunk. Ian woke up to a contact card in his pocket and a bruised cheek. He dusted himself off and returned to his job, but kept the card just in case.

During one bad trip, Ian was left a jittering mess with bloodshot eyes and drool down his lip. He survived, unexpectedly. Seeing this as a grace from the Gods, Ian swore off the addictive substances and decided to hit up the recruiter. He called him an old fart, Ian then got hit with a young punk and some insults later, he was recruited into the military.

Gruelling military training aside, Ian became a decorated combatant for Centrice, fighting with ferocity for his new country and home.

Equipment:

The Epsilon-11 Mark V Combat Kinetic Harness - Epsilon-11, abbreviated as E11-5, is a head-to-toe combat armour designed for volatile environments. It is specially designed for explosive ordinance roles such as grenadiers, explosive disposal, or heavy weapon deployment. It bolsters the user's reaction times via direct connection to nerve nodes—machinery designed to interface with the nervous system, allowing armours to connect—twofold. It possesses kinetic absorbers on the knuckles, chest, knees and boots which allow the armour to absorb up to 5 MJ (megajoules) of energy. It also increases the user's strength via microsized pistons, able to easily lift a man with one hand. For power, it incorporates a compact fusion reactor which is heavily shielded to prevent puncturing or rupturing. An ad-hoc customisation scheme where users can freely include add-ons or replace other parts. In Autumnall's case, it sports additional holsters for fragmentation grenades. The helmet is customised to support Ian's enhanced senses while also dumbing them down to aid him.

Appearance: Zatara stands at 5 feet and 8 inches and is built quite lean with her main source of strength coming from her robotic appendages. Her hair is cropped short at the chin and raven black like her father's and either pushed to the left side or braided to the scalp. It's necessary to keep it out of the way of her only functioning eye on the right that shines a fierce red color. The left eye is nothing more than a black crater of what used to be a dark brown iris. Her cybernetic enhancements supplement nearly 65% of her body, mostly making up the right side of her person and fashioned with the latest and hardiest materials that money can buy.

Name: Dmitri Borisov
Age: 32
Gender: male
Mutations: "draconis" is simply referring to a host of mutations that is surprisingly reptilian in origin it can scale from the iconic horns and eyes and tongue to reptilian limbs and complete scale coverage. In dimitri's case it's fairly extensive. In addition there sense are a little better then a normal human overall but more tuned to a specific purpose, horns able to detect changes in wind and temperature as well as pits under the eyes to allow for thermal vision. All data feed into there brain that itself serves as a targeting computer for they are able to spit a corrosive bile natural and such additions are beneficial even more so now With blades as when paired with a targeting computer the results are devastation.

Personality: Dmitri despite Being form a noble family is hardly cocky care and considerate is better to describe him having heard enough stories of blades falling due to overconfidence instead preferring slow and methodical such an approach has blend into how Dmitri acts, speaking against brash and hurried actions of a more methodical approach can be taken. He does find joy in shell a target till it’s nothing but dust though.

Background: Borisov noble family have had a long history with blades, famed for their seemingly unnatural ability to hit stuff, and Dimitri was no exception whatsoever him as his sister both having an even more natural nack for it then others in the family quickly getting access and given the honour to pilot the families greatest blade models the Galiron unfortunately for Dimitri he'd see his sisters death at the hands of some stupid rebels that got their hands on Anti-blade ordinance cockiness and a sureness that she was invincible proved to be her down fall this changed dmitri's personality greatly.. and thats the man you see today
Blade:
full blade: "Galiron" class ordinance platform

Looks like a giant crab with gubs strapped to it it comes with a a very powerful targeting computer and various auxiliary systems to keep the pilot alive and comfortable

Weaponry
M.O.D.S (multiplepurpose ordinance deployment system)
The MODS is a modular weapons platform consisting of 4 cannons that can be swapped out for 2 larger ones of needed. And carries a variety of different shells form HE to AP and anti-personal cluster mine launchers. You name it this thing can fire it. It uses a specialised lunching system to allow for veritable ordnance speeds so it can function like a mortar or a direct fire weapon
P.D.L.R
point defence laser array nuff said why not shoot your enemies shot out of the sky

claws: just in case any blades decide melee would be a good idea the huge armor crushing claws of galiron put that confidence to the test

1629436909117.png
Extra: the galiron is accompanied by lightly armed general purpose drones called retainers at dimitris requires being a retrofit to the standard design mostly for fending off anyone who tries to scale the galiron and repeat what happend to his sister

Name: Dimitri Grigoryevich Zimanov
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Mutations: Panthera mutation refers to a genetic quirk where the host displays feline features like enhanced eyesight, cat-like ears, and a tail. In addition to physical mutations, their reflexes and balance are improved along with their ability to withstand the cold. In more serious cases, their entire body will be covered in fur. In Dimitri's case, careful genetic planning and tweaking done by the Royal Physician had ensured his physical mutations are limited to his ears and tail while keeping the enhanced senses and resistance to cold.

Personality: Being from the colony planet of Ursus, Dimitri is like most Ursusians, very private and emotionally detached. What is odd about him is his willingness to directly mingle with the common populace and is known to even uplift promising or talented Ursus peasants to Squires, a rarity among the strict caste system within the Dominion. This earned him the moniker of the People's Prince. Outwardly he's a firm believer in social Darwinism but his belief in that anyone capable should be given power despite their status runs counter to that. He fostered this belief following the Tunguska Trials and the hypocrisy he observed during it and his Father's reaction to the whole thing.

As a leader, he is firm but fair, rewarding those who performed well and punishing those who failed him. No matter their status, his punishments are equal with him even sentencing people from influential Noble families the same punishments he dispenses on peasant infantry. That includes capital punishment, a very heavy punishment to deal onto a Noble but he believes that all crimes are equal and one's standing shouldn't allow another to escape it.

In his private moments, he's a very loving person and is very close to his fiancee and his half-siblings. Other than his family, he's very close with his main confidants and closest friends, Sir Artyom Pyotr Tchaikovsky, the Shield of Ursus, and Lady Aliya Roza Shina, the Spear of Ursus.

Background: Born into the Zimanov royal family, Dimitri's life was already set for a life of leading the people of the planet Ursus. What is expected of most royalty in the Dominion with a minor exception, he had to survive the Tunguska Trials. Tsar Agafon ordered Dimitri, then aged 15, and his other 14 siblings and half-siblings to essentially battle it out for the right to be Tsesarevich. After the longest 4 days, he emerged the victor with the only 2 of his half-siblings surviving the ordeal. That event harshly impacted his personality and he became a very private and emotionally detached person.

Before his crowning as the Tsesarevich, Dimitri went through military training as a Blade pilot. His experiences during the Tunguska Trails easily made him pass the physical portions of training but he had minor issues in the leadership portions of being a military officer. It was then that he met the two people who would be be his future confidants, Artyom Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Aliya Roza Shina, a pair of fledgling Bogatyrs from Ursus Nobility. Their companionship and advice helped rebuild Dimitri's confidence and made him sociable enough to serve as an Officer. By the end of the 3 years, the three were as close as siblings with the two of them a common sight in the Royal Palace by Dimitri's side.

Following his crowning as the Tsesarevich, he was given official command of the Okhotnik Blades, a battalion of pilots and marksmen specializing in recon and artillery support. Their first deployment was the suppression of a separatist movement on a fledgling colony. Within 4 months, the Okhotnik Blades managed to drive them to a single town and shelled the survivors into oblivion. The surviving rebel leaders were executed and had their bodies preserved as trophies to display on Ursus. The swift and merciless actions done by the Okhotnik Blades sealed their reputation as an efficient and unfeeling fighting force with no moral quandaries on using their own allies as bait.

Following their debut deployment, they would find themselves shipped from region to region for Peacemaking Duties for a period of 5 years before their triumphant return to Ursus. They would then serve as military advisors and as an OPFOR unit for the Dominion Armed Forces' training purposes. It was during this time that he was engaged with the eldest daughter of a high ranking Noble within the Ursus Council, a Polianitsa named Ekaterina Grigoryevna Samusenko.

Name: Jaste Soolish
Appearance: Despite his young age Jaste has already gone bald much like his father and grandfather did. Otherwise he retains a youthful appearance made muscular and tanned by years of construction work, both in a construction mech and also on foot with the rest. Since being recruited into the military he typically just wears a standard Blade pilot’s uniform, though noticeably it lacks any markings of a House or rank.
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Mutations: Due to his world being one with a thin atmosphere, the people there tend to have more efficient pulmonary and cardiovascular systems that allow them to provide their bodies with enough oxygen to function properly. In addition they trend towards being a bit shorter than the Dominion average and some have a more barrel shaped torso for larger than normal lungs.

Personality: Jaste has spent most of his life as an optimistic and happy person, but the last couple of years have worn on him and caused him to become disillusioned with the nobility. However, he can’t fathom the Centrice way of doing things being any better so he puts up with the bullshit of his superiors despite the cost to himself. Even with that intellectual understanding, he’s naturally not happy with his situation, and combining that with the stress of being in a war has left him rather apathetic about most things.

Background: Jaste’s childhood was rather normal for someone growing up on a fringe world of the Dominion. Perhaps owing to being on the frontier, the Thralls there enjoyed more freedoms compared to many other worlds, so long they kept up with their taxes. The trade off was that they lacked a number of the modern luxuries enjoyed by those deeper in the Dominion, but that didn’t bother Jaste. He had friends, a good job piloting one of the only construction mechs on the planet, and an otherwise stable life until a powerful earthquake struck the region, decimating several towns and killing his parents. Despite the grief he felt at his loss, he kept working for the sake of the others who had suffered from the disaster, his piloting skills being crucial to the reconstruction effort.

However, he would come to regret those skills. Seeking to offer even more forces to the war effort than they had already done while also looking for ways to keep the masses compliant, the nobility approached Jaste with an ‘offer’ that he wasn’t allowed to refuse. They would have him, a commoner, become a pilot of a Partial Blade and join the war effort to become a symbol of hope to the other Thralls that it is indeed possible to improve your station. But it became rather clear to Jaste early on that it was nothing more than a ploy to get people to sign up for the war, often becoming nothing more than disposable infantry, while he was given a disposable machine that wouldn’t be missed should it be lost in combat. Only he didn’t die like they expected, instead surviving numerous battles and becoming known to the common people on worlds beyond just his own.

Thus the nobles of several worlds worked together to increase his value as a piece of propaganda, getting him a newer Partial Blade tailored for his use and organizing a series of events that could be recorded for later broadcast. The ploy worked and before long there was a surge in recruitment, confirming that their investment was worth it. However, despite his value to the nobles, he was never given any real respect or authority by his commanders or his so called ‘peers’ amongst the other pilots.

Blade: Partial Blade “Sunburst”

General
While the Sunburst boasts high performance and adaptability, it was carefully engineered so that it could never beat out a noble’s machine in their chosen specialty. Despite that, its above average speed and modular equipment setup allows it to handle a much wider variety of situations than most other Partial Blades, traits that have served Jaste well in the time since he was given it. The giant ‘C’ painted on its shoulder is to mark its pilot as being a commoner.

Hardpoints
Right Arm - Machine Gun: Basic weapon geared for short range combat against infantry and light vehicles, though sustained barrages against a single location can be dangerous against heavier armor as well.

Left Arm - Grenade Launcher: Flexible weapon system able to fire a variety of different shells, including fragmentation and incendiary rounds and more utility based ones such as deployable sensor pods and smoke grenades.

Right Shoulder - Empty: Currently does not mount any equipment in order to keep the Partial Blade’s weight down.

Left Shoulder - Missile Launcher: Capable of firing a number of guided missiles, this is the default long range and anti-armor weapon for the Sunburst. However, ammo is limited.

Support - Guidance Countermeasures: Small devices mounted on the sides of the shoulders capable of spitting out flares and various kinds of sensor decoys with the purpose of disrupting guided missiles and various kinds of target locks against the Sunburst.

Auxiliary - Empty: This point on the back of the Partial Blade and is meant for support equipment such as external ammo storage, land mine dispensers, carry pod for an infantry team when APCs are not practical, or any number of other things. Currently empty for the reduced weight.
