Two kingdoms have been warring on and off for the last several thousand years, but now the Princess and Prince from the two kingdoms will be marrying to bring the two kingdoms together.
Asteria has always been known as one of the most beautiful kingdoms in all of Gelta. It shares a countryside with a similar, awe-inspiring kingdom of Ruvio. They have been rival kingdoms for many generations, with Asteria being home to the pale skinned and light haired sun elves, and Ruvio being home to the tanned and olive skinned and dark haired blood elves.
Asteria is one large city on three half sphere platforms made from the most beautiful white marble and quartz, and lined with the nicest turquoise bricks and black stone bricks. The lands in the city are a blue-ish color with cherry blossoms in constant bloom hanging over the platform walls. The lower city platform boasts the city's bustling waterhole and inn, and a statue of the goddess Astera, holding a sky crystal with her wings.
One of the things to note about both kingdoms is that they both are known for their shining crystals, Ruvio with glowing red striated crystal rising for the ground, and Asteria with their shining and shimmering, pale blue, doubly terminated crystals that naturally float in the sky, giving off a soft and gentle light.
Every city platform in Asteria has its own sky crystal. The lower city holds its sky crystal in its Astera Statue. The upper city holds its crystal and a crystal fragment in its mages' tower. The castle holds two crystals, one which had the castle's platform built around it, and one crystal and its fragment floating above the crystal in the platform.
Ruvio on the other hand is entirely on the ground, built with marvelous black stone bricks and rhodochrosite. It holds only one crystal in the palace, a large, three pronged fire crystal. While being much smaller in size compared to Asteria, Ruvio's military is equal in size to Asteria's vast one.
Many wars have started and ended between the two kingdoms, always ending in a peace treaty or truce. However almost every war has been over their religious beliefs. Both believing their god to be the true bringer of life to the world. Asteria believing Astera's light gave the way for life to be restored to Gelta. Ruvio on the other hand, believing that Ruvian's warmth allowed for life to flourish.
Our story starts with your character (the prince/princess) from Ruvio and their parents visiting the palace of Asteria to meet my character. Over time will they fall in love? or will another War break out?
