Daniel woke up to the sound of the morning alarm he had set on his phone. Beep! Beep! Beep! He rolled over and went to grab it off his nightstand. He felt around and couldn't find it, crap. Beep! Beep! Beep! Daniel scrambled to find it. His body was mostly hanging off the bed his ass sticking straight in the air when he finally found it. He tapped the red button on the screen turning off the alarm. No more loud beeping, thank God. Daniel climbed out of bed groggily and grabbed the clothes he'd set aside the night before. It was the first day of school, fun. He'd put anonymous advertisement for the club up on every social media website and app he could think of. He hoped people would actually show up for the meeting after school. He sniffed his pits and was repulsed by the smell. "How do I smell that gross?" Daniel thought to himself. She shook his head and headed into the bathroom to shower and get ready.

Irving woke up before his alarm sounded, he was totally not into going back to school. He sighed as he sat on his bed, his gaze on his phone as his fingers scrolled through the screen, he was hovering over a picture of him and his ex-boyfriend Cris. They had had a secret fling over the course of the summer, but in the end Cris left him for some girl. He should have seen it coming. Frowning he stood up from his bed and grabbed his book-bag and moved over to his full-length mirror. He looked fine to say the least, snug dark skinny jeans and a comfortable cardigan over his plaid shirt. Irving went to his kitchen quickly eating a bowl of cereal before heading out, driving his jeep to school. His dad having left to work way earlier.

Irving parked his car and quickly headed inside the building, heading to his locker to dump his things. He leaned against his locker and simply waited for the bell to ring. He couldn't wait for school to end already, remembering some advertisement for a club he was interested in.

Troy had awoken at about 6am, though he didn't need to. He slipped on dark clothing that would help him just kind of fade out from everyone else in school today. The dark clothes didn't exactly match up to his light face, but all outsiders tend to wear dark...it's just a thing. He also stuffed his clothes for work after school in his bag. Working at a diner not to far from school was alright..it paid well. (perhaps a hangout of the club?) He read out of The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. He'd seen the movie, but never read the book, so far it interested him. The characters were different from normal stories he'd read, these being nothing of the fantasy or 'weird' genre. Troy closed the book and set it on his desk and walked down to the kitchen at about 6:30. He made himself a simple breakfast and scrolled through his phone as he ate. He saw the ad for the Coming Out Club and read it. He questioned it...Should I? I'm not a club person...but...I did say things would change this year...I don't know.Troy thought. He shrugged to himself and finished his breakfast. He contemplated the meeting for the club, wondering if he should go. Nobody knew his sexuality...was he ready to make himself out to a group of people he didn't know? All of this was going through his head as he walked to the bus stop.

Drew woke up to his alarm, the sound wasn't that of an annoying beep, but it was that of the chorus from 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons. It blasted in his ear, waking him up in a pleasant way. He turned off the alarm and sprang up from his bed. His first day of senior year, and he was excited for it. His athletic body was revealed as he slept in his boxers. He didn't shower since he did last night, and he slipped on a "preppy" outfit that looked good on him. He finished getting ready and walked out to his fancy red sports car. Being rich, in a sense, had its benefits. Before starting it, he honked the horn twice for his little sister, Nicole, to come out to the car so he could take her to school. It was her first day of 8th grade today. Yikes! Middle school is hell...Drew assured her of that, but at least it's her last year. He scrolled through his phone as he waited patiently, finding the ad for the club. He raised a brow to it. "Hmm" he said to himself. Nicole soon came out and hopped in the passenger seat. He showed the ad to her, she of course said "You should do it..people in school love you, this'd be good for you." She suggested, making him smile. He nodded and pulled out, taking her to school first.

Daniel closed the bathroom door and turned on the shower and got inside. He was relived and let the warm water engulf his skinny swim team body. He took his body wash and started to wash his body. He took the shaving cream off the shelf and shaved his legs, pits, and neither regions (he found body hair disgusting and it was better to remove it for drag anyways). He stepped out of the shower and dried himself with his towel. He applied lotion to his freshly shaved body before grabbing his toothbrush and cleaning his teeth. He quickly got dressed in a pair of blue skinny jeans, a black V-neck T-shirt, and his black combat boots. He smiled at himself in the mirror.

"Go get'em tiger," he said to himself. He grabbed his backpack and his dufflebag (it held all of his swim team stuff) and headed out the door. His beat up old baby blue Chevy Pickup Truck in the driveway. He got inside started the engine and headed to school.

Soo you ready for your first day at the new place, Sam? :)

I think so! Too bad I don’t know anyone there.

You will be fine. ^^

Hopefully!

Sam was texting casually as he sat in the back of the bus toward the school. He had his hood up and earbuds in his ears. The music was a bit of a help to drown out the nervousness that was lingering around him. It was his first day at this new school, and although he didn’t show it, he was kind of nervous about it. Especially since he found out he was very likely gay this summer. He was kind of debating with himself wether to just get it out of the way at the new place, or keep it secret. He had seen a bit of advertisement for a club dedicated to helping kids out with stuff like this, but he was still figuring out if he would go or not.

The bus came to a stop and he got off, pulling the strap of his bag up his shoulder further. He started walking up toward the school, pushing his hood off. Well, why not just dive into it.

Before school Daniel had arrived early for swim practice. They tread water for about 20 minutes and the rest of practice consisted of laps and relays. Coach Sanders blew his whistle (he was a bald old white guy with super broads boulders) signaling that practice was over. Daniel climbed out of the pool his black speedo clinging to his tan, toned, and dripping wet body. He shook out his hair like a dog turning it into a messy mop on top of his head. He grabbed his towel off the bleachers and started to dry himself off. He was a member of the swim team but he wasn't a part of the "team". He knew they only tolerate having him around. Even though he wasn't out he knew they suspected he was gay and they'd be the stupid straight guys worried he would rape them or try and fuck'em. He wouldn't. He hated douches and the team...well everyone on the team was a douche (but him of course). He wrapped his towel around his waist and headed into the locker room. He didn't shower like they other guys were doing. What was the point? He would just get accused of staring even though he would never do that. Sneaking peaks in the shower was stuff you do in 6th grade not when you're a junior in high school.

Daniel dried himself off and got redressed. He didn't mind smelling like chlorine the rest of the day. He threw on his backpack and crammed his swim stuff back in the duffle.

He headed off to class his hair still damp. He put in his headphones and started playing some Rave/Dancing/Club type music by his favorite gay superstar, the one and only RuPaul.

Rodger awoke with a start, his legs already dangling over the side of his bed, typical for him, seeing as he was such a restless sleeper. He groaned at the faint light shining into his eyes from between his blinds, and shielded them his arm before he glanced over his clock where it seemed to be telling him he had plenty of time before he needed to get to the school, sitting up and looking around... The place was so melancholy since his father had passed away the month before, he'd taken down his posters, now there were just nails... Peeled wallpaper, and layers of dust, though that was mostly his lack of motivation over break. "First day of my senior year... Wow, time flies, doesn't it..." He said to himself, resting fingers on his forehead with a light, near emotionless chuckle that expressed his escalating fatigue. "You're doing it again, Rodge, you're talking to yourself like a crazy person..." He sighed, standing up and trudging over to the doorway, and to the right where the bathroom was, and upon entering he stared himself down in the mirror. Disheveled, dyed hair sat atop his head, dark circles laid beneath his eyes, steel blue, he looked awful... Oh, god, he smelled awful too, when was the last time he showered?! No matter, no was as good a time as ever. He slipped out of his clothes and into the shower, turning the knob and allowing the water to soak his hair, which stuck to his cheeks and blinded his eyes, though he was quite used to it and made no effort to clear his vision, it was the shower, he wasn't going anywhere, no one there to see, nothing there he wanted to look at. He washed his hair a few times, eventually washing out the oily texture, and the dirt from his skin, which became pale upon washing. By the time he'd stepped out, dried his hair, his body, he only had a little time to get on campus, maybe he'd just be late, it was only the first day. He pulled on his clothes, a black t-shirt, a band shirt, two white circles within each other and a dragon within the smaller center, the word "SALTATIO" on the top followed by a cross in between the two shapes, followed by the word "MORTIS", also followed by a cross which was before the "S" in "SALTATIO" and the "S" in "MORTIS". Two swords crossed each other behind the circle, pointed ends showing at the bottom. He slid into his jeans, socks, black combat-style boots, jacket... Though it's lack of a hood wouldn't help him in the rain, it was a dark, stony gray. He fixed his "bangs" and looked in the mirror, ready as he'd ever be.

He hurried and made breakfast, rushing to eat before he ran out, locked the door, and hopped into his car, black and sleek. Rodger started the engine and drove off to school, arriving just in time, and rushed to his first period class, though he had considered being late, the high school panic drove him to be on time that day.

(Big post, brb, got a few forms to fill out.)

Troy's bus came to his stop. Troy got up and walked on the bus, taking the back seat, passing other kid on his way to it. Troy kept his head down as a few kids commented on him and referred to him as "that loner...the weird adopted kid." Troy blocked everyone out and popped in his earbuds, listening to music on way to school. Troy didn't hear the kids on the bus, his music in his earbuds was too loud. Once the bus arrive at the school, Troy got off after everyone else and kept his head down, nobody seemed to really pay attention to the outcast as he walked through the halls. He snuck his way into his first period, an all-grade level class that he didn't expect to get in. His teacher was the only one in there so she greeted him with a warm smile and a polite "Hello." He smiled and said "Hello" back, as he was more comfortable with teachers than students. His teachers always liked him, and he liked them back. He picked a seat in the back of the room, hoping to be alone once others crowded in.

Drew dropped Nicole off at her school, giving her a quick hug before she left the car to go in the building. He then proceeded to his own school about 10 minutes away by car. He pulled into the parking lot, his cherry red sports car was quickly placed in the parking spot he reserved with a parking pass. He got out and took a deep breath, his confident smile making girls shine as he walked by them on his way into the building. Though of course they girls' attraction didn't mean anything to him...he was gay, so he wished boys gawked at him...but he was straight ott he rest of the world.

Sam pulled out the schedule the school had provided for him and looked over the room numbers. “Let’s see..” he mumbled to himself. He supposed he should have showed up a little earlier, since he had pretty much no idea where he was going. He was junior, but he would have to ask directions like a freshman for a while. This school was not exactly small. He tapped his fingers against his leg, and then took out his headphones. It looked like he needed to ask directions for this one.

So, he just stepped over to the first guy that passed him who didn’t look like a lost freshman. “Um, excuse me..” he said, and put on a friendly smile. The first thing that struck him was definitely the distinct smell of chlorine, and he could instantly conclude that the guy was a swimmer. Next he noticed that the guy was clearly listening to music, making him feel like he intruded a bit. Thirdly, he became aware about the fact that the guy was kind of attractive, but pushed that to the back of his mind immediately. He waited until he got his attention before continuing. “Hey, do you think you could help me out, I’m looking for an english class in…” he briefly glanced at the paper. “…E201?

@wonderboy1234

More kids poured into Troy's class. Calling him names from afar, making him twitch at the hurt. He popped in his headphones again and blasted metal into his ears. A gentle boy with...interesting music. He drowned them all out. The class was advanced, older kids in it...he felt alone, being a sophomore. He hid his face, head down on the desk as he listened to his music...forgetting about life.

Drew found his way to class easily enough. He was a senior, having known the school well enough. He noticed Troy, a sophomore, in the back of the room. He recognized him, sort of, from last year. The kid was a genius...kind enough, even a little cute. But Drew didn't know him...he felt sorry for him. Drew then took notice to the kids calling him names, then taking his nice-guy nature and turning it around...intimidating the bullies. They stepped down. He hated bullies...He took a seat in the front of the classroom.

Daniel was walking towards his first class listening to RuPaul's song "Glamazon" like it was nobody's business. He had to concentrate on his walk to keep him from swaying his hips too much. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a boy approach him. Daniel didn't think the boy was coming towards him so he kept walking. When it became apparent the boy had a question Daniel stopped and paused his music pulling an earbud from his ear. He listened to the boy's question and nodded. "E201...um....I believe that's the east wing, second floor, and 1 room up when you get there," Daniel said trying to give the big directions.

Irving made his way through the halls of the school, his schedule in hand as he glanced over it. English was his first class of the day. Not bad in his opinion, it could have been math. Stuffing the paper in his bookbag, he walked onward making sure to avoid any trouble from bullies he knew.

Irving made his way into the somewhat enpty class, "Great, I'm one of the losers that come here early." He muttered lowly as he sat down in a desk toward the back.

He pulled out his phone, aimlessly surfing the web without any intention, waiting for the teacher to arrive.

Sam looked in the direction that he was sending him, and noted everything that was instructed accordingly. Then he send him a friendly smile. “Alright. Got it. I will give it a try. Thanks,” he said and then put his schedule back inside the bag. He happened to catch a glance of the music the guy was playing on the display, and recognition showed momentarily in his eyes. “Nice taste,” he commented with a smile, meaning it. He had quite the broad music taste to be honest.

Then he started going east as he had been told. He was guessing that was to the right way anyway. ‘east, second floor, 1 room down… no… east, 1 room up and third floor?… or was it second floor… or two rooms down… was it even east?’ Why did he have to be such a dimwit with directions? He took a few turns and in the end had to conclude that he had truly taken the wrong turn. He took a stair down, and then….

He noticed the same swimmer guy coming down the hall toward him. Yeah.. it seemed that Sam had actually gone in circles and met the guy again before he had gotten to his own class. Sam was so close to just turning around and attempting to hide. Instead he just turned toward one of the posters hanging on the wall, and pretended to be very interested in what it said while the swimmer passed him.

Daniel's face flushed as Sam made his way away from him. Did he really see that Daniel had been listening to the music of a Drag Goddess?! He was still in the closet at school and that surely wasn't what straight people listened to. Wait...then with that logic that would mean Sam had to be gay?! Eureka! Wow Daniel...don't get too excited. You fuck boys you don't make love with them. Love isn't your thing.

Daniel kept walking down the hall to his first period. Then Sam reappeared and Daniel rolled his eyes and just shuffled past him. He headed to his first period, english. He entered his classroom and sat down in the far back corner not wanted to draw attention to himself.

@Tempesta

Troy's anxiety was slowly killing him. He tightly gripped his sleeves, ready to explode...the bullies never quit, even with Drew's help. It actually made them worse...Troy did his best to remain calm, drowning out the world with Bring Me The Horizon. One of his favorite bands. He shook slightly in his seat in the main back of his classroom. He was breathing slowly, calm and just keeping to himself. Stupid kids called him "Loser. Orphan. I'm uncultured. Nerd." Just words...but some words cut deeper than swords.

(Couldn't think of anything for Drew. Next post, I promise cx)

Rodger headed to his first period and looked around to find a room full of strangers, and sat down in a random seat, dropping his backpack and leaning back in his chair. He fixed the collar on his jacket before looking up to the front of the room, not exactly looking for the teacher but it would be nice if they showed their face. I wonder who these people are... Huh... Do I know any of them? Nah, this is a new school, new faces, but by the way that guy's looking at me. He smirked and slyly shot a guy glaring at him oddly a flash of the bird before turning back forward and checking his phone to find out why it relentlessly buzzed in his pocket at this time of the day.

Sam finally found his class after more exploring and almost breathed a sigh of relief as he entered the room. Luckily the teacher hadn’t arrived either. Earlier, had been an awkward way to start the day, hopefully the rest would go as nice and eventless as possible. He looked around the class and noticed a free seat beside a kid who looked like he was younger than the rest of the crowd. It was a free seat, so he went over and sat beside him, setting his bag down beside the desk.

Irving would now and then glance upward to the front of the room whenever someone new would enter the classroom, some he recognized from his previous year here, but others he didn't. Which made it more fun when he would shamelessly check them out through the corner of his eye.

He had to move forward right? Even if Cris did break his heart, he had to move on and forget the guy.

Before he knew to the late bell rang and who he assumed was his teacher filled inside. Irving placed a notebook on his desk, using it to hide his from as he continued using it.

Troy ignored the world around him. Being the youngest kid, he was the easiest target. His playlist stopped. He sighed and lifted his face up off the desk. He then took out his notebook and readied himself for class, able to face whatever came his way. He rested his elbow on the desk, waiting for class to start as he popped his headphones out of his ears.

Drew did the same. He readied himself for class. Out the corner of his eye, he noticed some punk kid was about to throw something at Troy for the fun of it. He grabbed the punk's wrist. "Do you really want to do that to the poor kid?" He asked, kind...yet fierce. The punk backed down...way to go, Drew.

Emerson sat chewing vigorously on her gum, her hands tapping out impatient rhythms on the steeling wheel as the red light of Mordor finally switched from red to green. He pumped down on the accelerator, taking a sharp turn into the school car park, gathering up her things and swinging on her backpack. The hallways had already began to empty, and the bell had already rung, and Em continued the steady pace of someone trying to look as though they were meant to be there.

A turn this way, a turn that way and the classroom door loomed before him, talkative chatter already long underway. She adjusted her hair and peered inside, scouting for a familiar face. There were some, but not the friendly kind. She stuffed her new schedule into her blazer pocket and slipped into the classroom, her short stature hopefully minimizing her notability. Even after being here for four years, Em far preferred his other friends, though she hadn't seen them in a while.

Quickly, she spat her gum out and plonked into the seat closest to the door, hoping against hope for a decent final year. The ace bandages had crumpled uncomfortably in her rush from the house, and Emerson sucked in breath, wishing he had stopped at the bathroom on the way here to avoid the dilemma of bathroom judgement. In four years, she had used the school bathrooms once, and that was to puke, so she had held out quite well so far, and he would continue to do so for however long he could.

Nick heard his phone go off, he turned over and tapped his phone as he turned off his alarm. He grabbed his phone and started going through twitter and looking through everyone's tweets. Finally one caught his eye and nick stopped and stared at it. It was a tweet about a group of kids who you could come out of the closet too. Nick sighed as he read it and thought about going. Nick looked out his window and it was raining so they wouldn't have practice today. Nick got out of bed and hoppedin the shower. He got out and dried off as he put on some new clothes he bought for school and he looked really good in them. Nick got on the bus andwent to school. Nick got off the bus and walked into school. He had his bag for soccer after school and went to his locker.

Daniel was glad when the final bell rang. The first day of school was no more. "Amen to that," he thought to himself. He did a minor hair flip while he waited for the classroom to empty. He hated how as soon as the bell ran everyone got up and clumped at the front of the room and you had to practically shove your way through the door.

The room cleared out quickly enough and he headed outside and down the hall to an abandoned English classroom that nobody ever used anymore. They faculty kept the door unlocked as a hang out/alternative lunch room. It was always unlocked, they never locked it. That's what made it the ideal place for having his ratchet version of a GSA. He entered the room and shut the door. He pulled a marker and piece of blank paper from a desk at the front of the room and wrote the initials,"The C.O.C" the acronym for the club was pronounced c*ck. It was fitting. He taped the sign on the outside of the door and sat at on the desk at the front of the room and pulled out his book to read it. He'd wait 15 minutes and then leave if no one showed up. He'd do this the first 2 weeks of school and if nobody ever showed he wouldn't worry about it, at least he'd have tried.

School was over and Nick walked out of his class room. It was raining and they announced over the speakers that soccer practice was canceled today. He was at his locker and he thought about all the advertising for the coming out club he saw on social media. He stood at his locker deciding of he should go or not when he finally decided to go. He walked down the hallway, talking to friends as he passed by them, he finally reached the room the club was in. He took a nervous gulp looked around the hallway and the entered the room quickly. He quickly shut the door behind him and turned to see that it was only him and Daniel in the room. Nick blushed they had a few classes together and Nick thought he was cute but they didn't talk that much. "Oh um well hey Daniel."

And like that the first day had ended, it felt like not a moment had passed but even so it was an eternity in his mind, he was nonetheless grateful for the ending of the school day, the awkward squeeze out the door between lazy assholes that decided it was the perfect place to chat, and though no response was made he was irritated. He sighed, relieved to be out of that room of sweaty teenagers, he was no exception but a bundle of B.O. was a bundle of B.O., no argument could be made about that. Rodger walked out, hesitating to approach his car. If he had remembered correctly there was some odd variant of a GSA club meeting after school was let out, and with a lack of better things to do, he decided he might as well go and see what kinds of people showed up. He turned on his toe and stepped over the line into campus boundaries, heading to the room, and if he wasn't mistaken it was the old and abandoned English classroom, not the greatest part of the school but to each their own. Upon arrival he saw a sign with an honestly crudely written sign. "The C.O.C." Oh look, what a fantastic acronym... If this is humor, it's rather immature, no matter, my curiosity prevails! He silently and dramatically threw up his fist and looked up to the sky, hearing a giggle as someone passed, looking back he saw a strange girl who failed to keep his interest. He turned the knob on the door and pulled it open, walking in to be met with vaguely familiar faces, though he assumed it must be because of his friends at his last school, he'd already forgotten the details of their faces so anyone could've looked like them by that time. "Not interrupting anything, am I?" He spoke the question at an average volume, accent rolling over his lips like fresh water and reflecting off of the rather dull and dusty walls of the old classroom. Rodger pushed his bangs back into place with a casual tuck behind his left ear. Not too loud in here... That's rare...
