Set in an AU where fifty years ago some unknown force released an app online which contained the base code for reality itself along with a programing language that would allow one to be able to modify the world around them as if it were a computer program. After a long period of unrest caused by the power to rewrite the world itself being released in phone form the world has finally found some level of peace. However things remain confusing to say the least, with various things that the first wave of programmers haunting the areas between the large cities protected by 'White Hat' programmers and the God's Eye firewall program designed to entrap code before it can be used to any malicious aims.
However a new string of Black Hat hackers have begun a wave of terror throughout the various cities of the world, claiming to be close to cracking the advanced coding language that would allow them to go beyond what the basic language of the code could do, rewrite all of reality at once.
So that is the pitch for the idea, the RP would be multi-paragraph responses and our characters could be either White Hat programmers or Black Hat hackers trying to crack the final layer of code.

Some important points to bring up about this idea.
- I know bits and pieces about programming, codes, etc. so a lot of what I say might be wrong on the more technical side of things. If you are looking for a super technical RP based around this idea I am probably not your guy but feel free to use this idea.
- The amount that can be done with the code is limited to what the user programs. So you could create an app that allows for an explosion to exist in an area you are looking at, but suddenly creating a perfect counter to a coded attack from another person would require time.
- Technology in this world is far advanced, basically due to certain codes being able to just create objects needed to advance most things that were still in planning stages in our world.
- The concept of most social norms is vastly different in this world, as self modification is practically a given in this world. My character personally is male as born simply because he worries that using the code on his body would allow another to possibly hack him through the data breach such a thing causes and isn't the most confident in his fire wall skills. Boiled down the concept of gender/sexuality is thrown out for a more universal 'who cares' sort of attitude.
- TLDR If you want a romance aspect your character could be a gal, a guy, or an elven looking no gender or something between. The ability to rewrite bits and pieces of reality tends to remove such worries.
- Reality itself tends to pull against broad stroke changes, such as 'gravity is flipped'. A program even written in tight code can only effect so much of an area, which makes the threat of someone mastering an advanced 'super' version of the code so terrifying.
