The citizens of Albion live in quiet content. A sparkling jewel of a city in the heart of the rich countryside. A city of holiness and power. Famous for it's constant production of priests and the fabled Paladins. However, a different branch of faith has borne it's dark leaves over this zealous city. Deep in the core of the backstreets, a new foundation of faith has been lain. Men and women with the power to wield both light and shadow as one. The temples of the Darkened. The home of the Dark Paladins. Albion faces a time in which darkness and light will clash with devastating consequences.


The Chronicles consist of a number of role-players acting out the lives of a number of darkened warriors. Learning the way of these elite paragons of shadow and light to use their powers to defeat the over zealous rulers of their beloved city. Sound good to you?! Then feel free to sign up!

Alignment: (The alignment consist of how far gone you character will delve into the shadows. There are two balances to the darkened. Shadowed and darkened light. Shadowed have moat completely disgarded their faith in the light to make a pact with the darkness. These characters tend to be sadistic, and merciless. The Darkened Light still remain close to their ties with the holy light. Usually they are much more sensitive and have a better moral sense of right and wrong)

Some rules are self-explanatory; no god-modding, basic politeness, enjoying yourselves. Some things will be implemented later on in the role-play. Such as; Weapons, development of powers, development of characters of course.


You'll have to bear with me, this is the first role-play I have hosted on the forums, so I may not be the #1 host, but I'll certainly give it my all!

Personality: Tawny is pretty outgoing and helpful but can sometimes be easily tricked since she's a little gullible, not that she isn't smart since she is, she just trusts people too easily. She is very athletic and easy to get along with.

Major strengths/weaknesses: Weakness- a bit gullible and too trusting/ Strengths- Healing and agile.


History: Tawny was abused when she was little and she ran away. Being abused darkened her ties with the light since she felt like no one cared for her so she tries to protect others from feeling that.

As I completely forgot to post my own character profile, here it is xD


Name: Valkyron.


Age: 46


Gender: Male.


Alignment: Darkened.


Personality: Valkyron is rather sullen and quiet. Always keeping to himself and generally avoiding contact. However, the moment he has a weapon in his hands, his demeanor changes entirely. Becoming a brutal, and merciless savage so to speak.


Appearance: Tall and imposing. He is rarely seen without being cloaked in long, dark robes. His face shrouded by a low-crop hood that obscures his features. Underneath his exterior clothing, would be a bulky, well built body. Toned by years upon years of hard training. A long scar reaches down the left side of his face from his temple, to his cheekbone.


Major strengths/weaknesses: His understanding of the Darkened Light, and brutal strength. However, his blood-lust often causes him to make rash, and idiotic decisions in battle.


History: A dark, and troubled past. Valkyron joined the Albion Royal Army at the age of Eighteen. During his service, he befriended a young knight who also had a darker side to him. He showed Valkyron the ways of the Darkened and eventually led Valkyron to join the temple. After the culling, ten years ago. Valkyron became the lone survivor of Albion's Darkened. Tending the temple in secret, and silence.


Other: Preferably uses a single sword.
