It is common in Aloria for fighters to specialize in a certain category rather than mix and match, and commonly those who do are found to be without honor or morals. Many types of combat are simply practiced and learned, but some are passed down through bloodlines.


Spirit-Walker


Members of a human Elven mixed plains tribe. In their early days they chose to band together for survival rather than fight like the rest of their race and were shunned for it. They were cast out into the wilds where their survival lay upon their instincts. It was not long before they fell into tribal traditions of worshiping nature towards animals and spirits. Upon the goddess Talia's fall from the heavenly kingdom and her final act of defiance the pairing of their two races effected the tribe in an unforeseen way. They became able to contact and sense the spirits, and each one from then on received a spirit animal upon birth, a large face covering tattoo that symbolized their animal was common to show who their patron spirit was. Any animal could be their patron and when their need was great in battle or not hey had the ability to transform into their spirit animal for a time. Spirit walkers use an exotic form of combat, mixing a short bow and hand to hand combat as well as sometimes using small blades and knives.


Warrior


Those considered as warriors are adept and skilled with a variety of melee weapons. Warriors tend to be extremely varied, no two alike. Each has their own set of weapons, skills, and preference. Even two wielding war hammers are different in the way they fight. Warriors are numerous all across the three kingdoms and are known for their feats of bravery and incredible honor.


Mage


Those adept on the workings of magic. Mages usually are born more often than made. It is not impossible to become a Mage if you are not, but commonly families are known to pass down their Mage craft, the knowledge they hold in regards to magic, from father to son and mother to daughter. Mages are pivotal on the battlefield, and quite commonly are known to change the tide of the battle, and a single Mage could decimate an enemy army if he were unapproved. It is because of this that many mages are usually found in an army, so as to defend it and fight the mages of the opposition. A typical Mage learns as much as it can, gathering a small amount of knowledge in multiple fields. It is rare to find, but entirely possible, mages who specialize in a single type of magic and as such grow stronger than others in it. It is a useful venture in that magical aspect but leaves them weaker in other branches.


Healer


Healers are usually rare but vitally important. They are adept in healing magic as well as folklore medicine, common medicinal practices, and a variety of medical techniques across all three kingdoms. They wield a power only found in the mixture of natural methods and magical methods. Healers are rarely found outside of large cities and army staging grounds due to their value. Commonly healers are hired into a city or paid to travel win an army as soon as they become known to the royalty of the kingdom. It is possible to find traveling healers, as the royalty does not force a healer to settle in a city or travel with an army, and not every healer is content to a hefty payout and settling down.


Agitator


Agitators are a relatively rare class, even less numerous than healers. They are trained by mountain monks typically in various forms of hand to hand combat, as well as taught the ways of hue, the magical energy that flows through the body at seven points. They are masters of single combat and even in group fighting they pose a serious threat, able to gravitate between opponents, striking debilitating blows each time to take out a multitude of opponents quickly. Agitators are known for their tracking and hunting skills, as well as their retrieval skills. An agitator can easily incapacitate a mark and retrieve them, no matter where they reside. They are not only known for their great skill but also for their stealth. Agitators, like Spirit Walkers, have a strong connection to he spirit world through natural spiritual harmony. It is even thought that theirs is stronger than the walkers, but neither of the parties has ever cared to prove who is better. Agitators can also take the form of a spirit animal when the time is great and their need large.






KINGDOMS


Aloria is a vast world filled with beings of all sort, though our story now takes place on a single continent. Water travel is far from advances in Aloria and as such each continent in Aloria lacks any real knowledge of the others past fables and legends.


ARONOR


Aronor, the Kingdom of Man, residing within the central plains of the continent, perfect for the farming life of many men of the kingdom. It is surrounded along its borders by five great cities, two on borders of the other kingdoms, and then a single along the eastern border. The five great city's are known as The Wards of Man, for they're tasked with the defense of Aronor. Along the plains are spattered smaller cities and towns, and only one other city of greatness stands, even greater than The Wards. The city of Nubesa, The Greater Ward. It is meant as not only the capital but the final bastion of defense should the five wards fall. Within its walls lays the Glass Palace, a marvel of human architecture, and in it lays The Square Throne. Named such for its bulky shape. It was crafted flat and angular in an effort of discomfort, to always remind the monarch of the time of their obligations to the people.


DELVORNIA


Delvornia, the Elven Kingdom, hidden deep in the marshes and forest lands of the mighty Hrygorian, south of the human plains lands. The elves, with their graceful strength in magic enchanted their forest heavily in their defense, and upon their need of strength and salvation it is fabled to come to life, viciously massacring whatever threatens its watchers of the forest, for that is what the elves are called. For they do not cut down trees for houses, weapons, or anything else. They use their great abilities with magic and sing forth that which they need, singing even houses into the trees. The elves are ruled by a graceful King from their capital Elshiera, located deep in the forest upon the only large body of water in he forest, Hrygorian Lake, and upon it stands the swan palace, so names for its feather white gleaming walls and graceful architecture.


HJARCRAG


Hjarcrag, the Dwarven kingdom, located deep in the mountains and tunnels of the northern Bjor mountains. The Dwarves are a stout and hardy race, graced with a naturally long life compared to most because of their affinity to rocks. Dwarves are excellent magicians in any magic hat has to do with rocks, gems, or dirt. The Dwarves are protected by the natural defenses of the Bior mountains, their tunnels forcing any possible enemies to bottleneck their forces. The dwarves are ruled over the the Obsidian King upon the Stone Throne in their capital of Hjalmor where the Ruby Citadel stands.


Forbidden Lands


Said to have been the final battlegrounds of Norath and Ahramins battle and where Norath sealed away Ahramhin. This land, bordering all three kingdoms, is worthy of its name. The ground is black and covered in ash, the hills and mountains are of a black craggy rock borne from the cooling of lava and ash mixed from the constant ash rain. The land is dotted with various volcanoes of size and the sky is constantly dark and filled with dark red lightning from the heat. The land is filled with a dark and deadly magical residue left over from Ahramins power and constantly leaking from his seal, altering many creatures that wander the land as well as creating dark and horrible monsters and other creatures.

Literacy. Be literate, proper spelling and grammar, write in story format. No asterisks to describe actions please, it's irritating and hard to follow. Obviously no meta gaming or God modding, if you fight with another character make sure you don't dodge every move.

Personality: Rather snarky and unable to create positive relationships. She manages to be both a savior of strangers, and the devil as her unpredictability kicks in. Altering between helping people when they need it most, and just utterly destroying their lives. Sometimes nice, sometimes not, always distances. And spaced off. It's hard to read her and figure what she is in the end.

Just get rid of the shield and make the hammer bigger.


Kingdom: Hjarcrag


Weaponry: Giant warhammer. Crushing is a lot easier then cutting.


Personality: He is as hard headed as it comes, even fir dwarfs. A normal dwarf could teach a mule how to be stubborn, he can teach rocks. His size is often the point of many an insult, which are usually met by him giving the offender a solid thumping. Temper? Maybe just a little bit.


Background: One of the youngest to hold the name Frostbeard, a clan of rather high regards in dwarven society. This, as you can see, means that he will, in all likely hood, will not be the next head of the clan. This is perfectly fine with him, he prefers to not have to worry about every little thing. Instead, he liked to worry about how he got that dent in his armor, or how much more ale he can down then all of his friends put together.


Other: Heterosexual. Hates spiders, there is just something wrong about them, nothing needs that many eyes. Touchy about his size compared to other races. Don't even suggest tossing him.

Personality: Talon is fierce. He's stubborn and rash, when he makes up his mind he sticks to it with fervant determination. Unless it has to do with fire. He's deathly afraid of fire although he tries many times to conquer his fear. He's just never found a good enough reason.

Weaponry or magical abilities: Carries a longsword, and is trained in Anti-Magic combat, causing him to be able to negate weak magic attacks, and potentially absorb them.


Personality: Emilio is a very calculating person, taking in everything there is to consider when making a decision, most of the time.. He is very serious, however, to strangers, he comes off as charismatic. A people person.


Bio/History: Born and raised in the Great Ward of Aronor. He was trained from an early age to be a soldier, and was thus trained to use a longsword and is proficient in hand-to-hand combat. He eventually left Aronor, and explored the rest of the continent. As he went on this journey, he slowly began to gather a following. It seemed to evolve into a small army of people, on par with a small kingdom, then slowly devolved into a mafia-style gang. He called them the Faceless Dragons. This gang was much less than moral. They pillaged and stole. Eventually, once they became big enough, they tried to assault one of the Five Wards. He pushed his way into a castle there, and held the city for a solid hour before being pushed out due to mass slaughter of his own soldiers. After becoming a wanted criminal within the kingdom of Aronor, Emilio fled.

Personality: Ciro is a quiet man, who never seems to have a presence around people. He doesn't seem to really be emotional, as noted by his monotonous way of speech. He is a logical, forward individual(When he speaks, which is not really seen commonly.) He is almost always reading books of magicks, ancient tomes, and the like. He doesn't seem to like physical contact, and his face has never been seen.


Biography/History: Not much is known about Ciro, other than he is a Male, and a decently well-known mage. Not much is known why he always hides his face, but rumors have spread that it is a magical seal permanently casting him into a body of darkness. Other rumors say that Ciro has a horrendously scarred body, but this does not seem to be true. When his hood is lifted, it is only darkness-- with the cold, silver eyes glowing within. If his clothes are ever off-- which he has also never been seen, his flesh is as dark as his face. Even Fire Magic does not illuminate this darkness, but a lot about this man is a mystery. Some say he has to do with Talia, and Ahramin, but those are likely myth.


Other : ...Heterosexual, but doesn't seem to be very emotional. His clothing seems to be magicks-proof, which is why if he was to cast a large scale ability, it would be less likely to harm him if he were caught up in his own ability. This still has limits, no one is immortal. He seems to be somewhat swift, which is how he tries to avoid physical combat.

PM me your info regarding him that you didn't include. Like what's up with his skin and face and etc.


Also your tome is unnecessary. Magic is a mind based skill, not words and writings in old books. There are books that can teach you theory but no books that teach you how to do something perfectly.


Magic is basically like this: Whatever you can imagine and have the strength to do.


Also only specialize in a single element or just have average knowledge of two.


Or minor knowledge of three. And basic knowledge of four. See the scale here?

Kingdom: Rogue


Spirit-Animal: Raven_Shadow Magic


Personality: She can be very quiet, and she values freedom because of her past (see History). She is also claustrophobic and will freak out easily if she is in a small or crowded place. She hates any kind of human contact and likes to spend her time in dark forests.


Bio/History: She doesn't trust anyone since she was betrayed by her friend, who sold her to a bird keeper who wanted her power to spirit-walk, so she was locked in a cage for years. She killed the boy right after she escaped, but named her raven the same name-Rip. Rip (the boy) was her boyfriend once. He was a human, but they loved each other dearly. But he was driven by greed, riches and power. The bird keeper had bribed him with these, vowing that if he gave him Shadowmoon, he would have the power to become immortal. At first he refused, but soon he was tempted by this. He captured Moon when she was in the form of a bird then caught her in a cage, then sold it to the bird keeper. Since then, every time Moon morphed back to human form she was forced to fit in the cage. She feels trapped every time she turns back into human and prefers raven form, until now. She swore vengeance to kill the bird keeper.


Other: Straight. She usually thinks of herself in the form of a Raven, so you can find her in trees, cawing. Her Raven name is Rek. Weaponry or magical abilities: Circular Blades that resemble fans


Personality: She has a calm mothering demeanor making her easy to approach. However, with this personality is also the rage that comes with overprotectiveness. She'd sooner talk herself out of a fight.


Bio/History: She lived a life learning to be priestess for the spirit walker community. She travels and meditates and learns all to perfect her power. If she's lucky, she'll be a full fledged priestess by the time she's forty! Until then, she travels on foot from kingdoms and villages.


Spirit-Animal: A buzzard.


Other: Doesn't believe in gender based love. She loves all people.

Personality: She has a calm mothering demeanor making her easy to approach. However, with this personality is also the rage that comes with overprotectiveness. She'd sooner talk herself out of a fight.


Bio/History: She lived a life learning to be priestess for the spirit walker community. She travels and meditates and learns all to perfect her power. If she's lucky, she'll be a full fledged priestess by the time she's forty! Until then, she travels on foot from kingdoms and villages.


Spirit-Animal: A buzzard.


Other: Doesn't believe in gender based love. She loves all people.

Personality: Odd and eccentric, Amberlyn is often more at peace with herself (and her delusions) than with other people. Although she doesn't shun company, Amberlyn doesn't usually seek others out. She is very astute when it comes to healing and alchemy.


Bio/History: Amberlyn, and her twin sister Emily, were the third and fourth children born to Howard and Stephanie Quarren in Aronor. She grew up in a typical mid-class home, constantly abuzz with activity as Amberlyn and her siblings helped maintain things around the house. At the age of 13, the magical healing arts buried deeply within Amberlyn flourished when she quickly and instinctively healed her older brother's broken arm from a fall.


Amberlyn was then ushered to study under Haversham Downey, the city ward's local healer. Under his tutelage, Amberlyn not only learned basic anatomy and assorted healing talents (both arcane and mundane), but alchemy as well – a discipline in which Amberlyn had a natural talent.


During her 18th year, Emily became gravely ill. Amberlyn left her studies with Haversham to be with her twin, and for the next two years she used every tool and bit of knowledge at her disposal to cure Emily. The efforts were in vain, for on their shared twentieth birthday, Emily died.


The rift that tore through Amberlyn at her twin's passing was too much for the young healer. She fled from the home in the dark of night and wandered lost for a year. When Amberlyn returned, she was a changed woman. Some believe that it was due, in part, to the experimentation of drugs that she had ingested during her sister's convalescence, saying that Amberlyn refused to dose Emily with anything that she hadn't herself tried first.


Upon her return, it was quickly obvious that the scars from Emily's death had not healed. Amberlyn continued her daily life as if Emily were still alive. Amberlyn carried on conversations with her sister and went about her regular routine with an air of normalcy. Whenever she was questioned about her dealings with the spirit of her sister, Amberlyn would politely, yet firmly, dismiss any considerations that Emily wasn't truly there.


Amberlyn tried to find work as a healer in town and in the army, but once her eccentricities were known, too many people felt uncomfortable around her and mistrusted her alchemical formulas for fear of losing their sanity as it appeared Amberlyn had.
