After World War III the Earth was left in shambles. Many countries had lost a majority of their population and some were now just barren wastelands.
The Earth was not the place you wanted to be right now, so the five countries that remained intact, Australia, Russia, England, Japan, and Canada, formed an alliance to clear up the waste and get humanity back on track.
To start with their plan, they created an oasis in a remote pocket of the world, untouched by the war and death. This city contained all needed to sustain basic life, a dormitory, jobs, food, and laws. They chose several young people, no older than thirty, from each of the five countries to live here, take up a new job, and repopulate with a person of their choosing.
They got the people from the countries to send in an apllication listing several things about them including personality traits, skills, and a picture of themselves. The alliance chose people who had the best genetic traits that they wanted to pass on, and paired them with the ones they thought complimented them best. The jobs went similarly. Based on their applications, they chose jobs that they thought would fit them the best.
The chosen citizens have now just arrived at their new homes, a translator device worn as a necklace, and a tracking chip implanted in them. How will they fare with such a heavy task on their shoulder and no choice in the most important things?
