The Cat and the Bat (Dreadpool and AiEnma)

Dreadpool

King Dreadpool, the Wrathful
@AiEnma

(Ready to begin)

It was a icy night within Gotham City. Winter had definitely arrived. Mist rose from the breath of civilians as they bustled towards places of warmth, and snow was beginning to come down hard upon the rooftops. However, for the Dark Knight, this was just another day patrolling through Gotham City. The special components within his suit kept him warm, or at the very least, warm enough to push onward through the howling wind...

The cold winter nights in Gotham City, always were a lag, considering Selina Kyle was at a party that the doors leading to the balcony were opening. "These people are trying to freeze me out. Don't they know cats do not like the cold weather?", she said with a sly smile. She continued to drink her drink and then as right on cue, the alarm on her phone went off. She sighed in relief, going upstairs into the bathroom, locking the door behind her. She slipped out of her dress, pressed a button that made her cat suit cover her entire body. She opened window, jumping out, landing on the sky walk, looking at Gotham City before her. "This is going to be an interesting night." she said jumped down, running and jumping to the next buildings.

(Selina Kyle is the original Catwoman if you didn't know)

(Indeed she is)

As he remained perched on top of a gargoyle, the Dark Knight caught a slim silhouette from the corner of his eyes. In Gotham, it wasn't unusual to see masked individuals running across rooftops these days. But there was little doubt as to this one was. Batman briefly turned his head towards the beautiful cat burgular. More than likely, Selina was on the hunt for yet another jewel or item of great interest. Standing up from his position, The Bat took a dive from the gargoyle, extending his cape like wings. They special mechanism within the cape caused it to go rigid, allowing him to glide down towards her.

"I can't say I'm surprised, you never did strike me as one who would willingly stay inside during winter," He spoke, his voice, while gravelly, not quite as fierce as it usually was.

Coming to a stop, Selina turned around, to see a familiar individual. Batman. She smirked a little walking a little towards him, knowing not to get too close, knowing he could probably easily, take her down. "Nice, to see you too...Batty. What brings you over here? Little ole' me couldn't hurt a fly and was just on going for a walk." she said innocently. She looked up at him. He wasn't just someone you could not look at twice.

"You and me both know that you're never just going for a walk, Selina. It's unlike you to simply take a stroll around the rooftops, without some sort of purpose," He replied, his eyes narrowing at her. He made a few steps towards her. He wasn't going to arrest her, because at this current moment, she genuinely didn't appear to be doing... anything. However, he would, at the very least question what she was intending to do whilst in costume.

Selina looked at him and stepped back some more, close to the edge. "Oh.. Bruce, you think you know me so well. A girl just can't go out for some fun on the town?" she said with a slight laugh. She went into a handstand, landing on the edge of the building. "You should believe what I say sometimes. Besides, there are criminals lurking in the shadows, as we speak." she said. She sat on the edge of the building, looking up at the sky. "Hey, you should get going. The bat signal is going. Crime is alert." she said to him.

It seemed that Batman had vanished the moment Selina looked up into the sky. It was an odd antic of his, disappearing in the middle of a conversation. He had immediately headed over towards the Bat-Signal, to see what was going on...

"Hey! What are you doing..." said the security guard until he was knocked out. Poison Ivy laughed at him, walking past him. "Men are just dumb and not interesting." she said. She came here, looking for the information about certain Egyptian plants, that could help her finally wipe out Gotham City. She calmed herself and while doing so, she released her vines going through all the cabinets and desk. "Where could it be. That old fool, was always good at keeping things a secret." she muttered.
