Yupi

Yupi caught her gaze and after a moment of hesitation, silently nodded and started to back away. She had no idea what exactly she had almost walked in on, but if Vasco is upset and Martyr has decided to actually do something, that's a good sign that it's time to get out of dodge. The trainers could wait, she was not going to mess with an angry Vasco. As Yupi and Maria snuck away from the encounter, Yupi leaned over and whispered, "What is going on over there?"

Spirit
Theme: Hunted Down
Spirit couldn't believe how many people that had gotten involved in this mess. All this over one trainer being tied up and nearly blinded, people at this carnival were just too emotional. He wanted to laugh, the whole situation was just that funny. He wasn't even involved in the conversation anymore yet things just kept happening. It wasn't until instincts was brought up the he got annoyed.
"You don't want to know what my instincts are telling me." He muttered so not to draw attention back to himself. Right now his instincts were telling him that Vasco deserved to die and would make a perfect meal. Survival was the last thing on his mind since he didn't really need to keep himself alive. Of course he wasn't going to inform the others of that though.

Martyr

Martyr tilted her head up at him.
"I care not of your god. He is nothing to me. I speak only of the gods that gifted me the Sight and Immortality. I will follow their will until they deem me useless. And you will not harm Lux."
She lifted a scarred hand from beneath her cloak and pressed her finger into his chest.
"I care not for your sadist ways, but if you harm Lux right now things will not end in your favor, Vasco. I have seen many men fall because they did not heed my words. Even though I do not like you, it is not your time, Vasco. Unless you want it to be."
[]Sorry it's a bit short.[]

Vasco

The doctor clutches his rosary hanging from his chest at Martyr’s words, frowning behind his mask. Tomalyn facepalms from Vasco’s shoulder, shaking his head.

“Oh now you’ve done it.” The puppet sighs in resignation.

“It appears that the discipline of this carnival has not been harsh enough as of late. You all may go back to your normal duties for now. In the mean time I must report to the Boss the tell him of this incident so that he may decide the punishments for all of you.” Vasco says in a polite but distant voice, the doctor then turns to leave.

“I told y’all that he was five seconds away from handing y’all to the boss, but nooooo you just had ignore me didn’t you.” The puppet says in a ‘I told you so voice’ as the doctor walks away, his cane meeting the ground more harshly than usual.

The doctor arrives at Morgan’s tent, hesitating at the entrance for awhile before slowing lifting the flap of the door.

“Boss, there has been an incident with a group carnies resisting punishment and one of them almost maiming a trainer.” The plague doctor says with a submissive voice and body language. “It seems that we need your...iron fist involved in their discipline.”

Dimitri
He glanced around at those carnies still around as the trainer leaves to get Morgan. The plague doctor's works of leaving rang in Dimitri's ears as he released a deep breath and runs his hands over his face. "We need to all get back to setting up this damnable place before Morgan gets wind of this and we all get lashings."

Dimitri turns to Martyr "threatening him is not the smartest move, you know? He was already angry and we would have been fine with just the punishments he dealt out now we will all suffer an even worst fate." Looking out at the work they still have yet to finish, he mutters to himself and shakes his head at the things they must complete.

Martyr

Martyr watched Vasco leave. She heard Dimitri speak to her, causing her to turn around and face the carni.
"Let me ask you this, Dimitri. Have you any knowledge of the Butterfly Effect? The idea that a butterfly's wings fluttering today may lead to a tornado a week later? My job; my only role in this world - in my entire existence - is to observe and fix the events of the present so that the future will not be in ruins. I cannot show you what will happen, but if Vasco harms Lux for this it will not turn out pretty in the future. I do whatever I need to for the future to turn out correctly."
She reached her arm out to show him her scars. There far too many on the small expanse of skin, crisscrossing and intersecting every which way.
"I will endure anything to set the future right. A set off lashes from Vasco is nothing. Whatever Morgan deals me won't deter me either. This is what I was meant to do for eternity, Dimitri."

Maria sighed, and thought for a moment. Honestly she wasn't really sure how it started she just noticed a commotion going on and Vasco getting madder and madder. Maria shrugged and bent down on the ground and wrote in the dirt. Not sure how it started but things got worse when others tried to fight back. She then looked up her eyes some what seen from behind her hair. She then stood up and looked back towards the group and noticed Vasco leaving then she realized where was going. He was going to tell Morgan. That was bad really bad. Morgan took joy out of what he did and she didn't want to be in the middle of that crossfire. Maria looked at Yupi then towards where Morgan was and quickly walked away. She was now hiding behind stacked boxes. She hugged her knees and buried her face. If she stay hidden and silent then maybe she wouldn't get notice.
