Crow looked at vasco and then spirit and dimitri and he whimpered knowing it should really only be him that was punished as he was the cause of the guard being like that in the first place. "M-mr. Vasco i spirit was just protecting me p-please dont p-punish him or dimitri p-please" he said, biting his lip as he whimpered, wincing vasco turned towards him before crow spoke again "if you want to p-punish anyone then p-punish me as the guard ended up like that b-because spirit was defending me" he said looking at the ground.

Crow may not like pain but he knew the other two didn't deserve to be punished because of him, and he hated it when others where punished in his place as they didnt deserve it for something he did.

As he looked at the ground he soon looked back up he yelped in shock as a woman appeared from nowhere and punched vasco hard causing him to stumble and fall back as he looked at vasco then the woman as he gave a small whine of fear.

Spirit
Theme: Hunted Down
Spirit just sat in his cage grinning as Vasco spoke, trying not to laugh at the man's anger. When the puppet chimed in though he could no longer resist and burst out laughing. "Must be fun having a little voice on your shoulder. How am I supposed to take someone's threats seriously when they can't even keep their own puppet quiet." He remarked as he stood up and approached the bars. Hearing Dimitri try to defend him Spirit shook his head, it was a pointless endeavor. "I guess I was a little angry, though I was more bored than anything else. That trainer simply gave me a reason to make him my toy."
Hearing Vasco bring up the rules made Spirit laugh. "Oh I know but it's only fair that the trainers feel our pain every once in a while, besides rules are for humans not animals. The worse you can do is put an animal down if a trainer is killed, but I was never alive to begin with was I." He mocked as he looked Vasco directly in the eyes. He only stopped smiling when Vasco threatened him with a brand. "You might as well be placing those brands on the trees themselves because their certainly not sticking to me. The only reason I stay is not because of a brand but because I want to. Everything I do is because I want to." He explained with a great deal of confidence in his words.
Spirit was flattered when Crow also tried to defend him. "No need to ask to get yourself punished for my sake, I'll be fine. I wouldn't want you to have you wings clipped or something worse." He commented as he looked at Crow. He had to admit that Crow and Dimitri wouldn't be bad friends to have.

Vasco


Before the doctor could even hear the response of Spirit and Dimitri he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning his head he sees a fist headed towards his face, instinctively he jerks his head back and takes control of whoever’s body that fist belongs to. The fist abruptly stops a couple centimetres before it hits his mask, looking at who the fist belongs to he sees Lux.

“Why are troublemakers everywhere? Have we not tought you better? Have I not taught you all better?” The puppeteer says in a sorrowful voice. “I guess that means I’ll have to think of a third punishment. Oh dear, the boss won’t like this at all...”

“Just accept the fact y’all are getting fucking punished. He’ll be a hell of a lot more gentle then if Morgen decides your punishments. Because this stupid doctor here is five seconds away from just handing y’all over to the big boss and you all know what a sadist he is.” Tomalyn angrily says, growing irritated at all the new people who seem to just be throwing themselves at this mess.

Dimitri had tried to get ahead of the punch and keep another person from being punished but seemed to be too slow to save Lux. He flinched slightly when the doctor caught the fist and seized control of Lux's body, remembering the times that he had been subjected to that very same muscle freezing power. "Vasco, I know that I cannot excuse Lux's actions but I do plead that you remember what I had said previously. We are all on our wits edge and need a break from all of this work in the hot sun." Dimitri walked slowly around the doctor to stand next to him and Lux, edging his way in front of Crow and Spirit's forms to try and get the doctor to focus on him and not them. Trying to save them from the impending wrath of the trainer and he hoped the two would get the hint and stay quiet.

"Maybe we can all take a break and get some lunch, out of the sun and the heat. It will surely help calm our nerves and renew our energy to get the rest of this carnival set up this afternoon." Dimitri planted his feet, resigned to be the next victim of the anger and punishments if it meant the others were spared.

Lux
Lux's golden eyes narrowed as heat rose into her cheeks. She cast a steely eye towards the puppet or whatever the dude wanted to call it. "I'd watch yourself doll, before I rip you apart at the joints." The words came out in a hiss. Her eyes met with Vasco's mask. "Send me to him," she spat. "What's the worst he can do? Whip me? Great I can heal myself before sundown. You guys are just lucky I can't shift the way I want to or you would all be dead. Now let me go." She could feel the Void slowly beginning to grasp at her soul again. It was such an odd feeling. It was cold, but it had a certain benevolence to it. Surely, she could eventually use it to her advantage whatever that might be. The Kitsune was already going insane from being here in this stupid place without her Ball. She had never felt so vulnerable and the many times she attempted to retrieve it always ended in failure. It was just the failure either that got her, it was the caging her up like some freak without the power to wreck havoc on them. The woman's muscles became more rigid as her anger began to seethe.​

As crow watched them all he gave a whimper as he hid behind Dimitri in terror knowing the masked man was even more angry now then he was before as he winced at the kitsunes tone "why cant we j-just calm down and be le-left alone" he said under his breath.

Crow looked back at the others he simply hid more behind Dimitris larger form his claws digging into the ground as his wings rose abit ready to take off at a moments notice, as crow stood there he knew dimitri had just said the wrong thing, he also knew that they where is big trouble when he heard one of the head trainers walking over to see what was going on as the man looked pissed.

“Oh you poor thing you don’t really know Morgan do you. Well me and the doctor here knows what he does and what he can do. Let’s just say the owner had a...penchant for being able to completely break people.” Tomalyn says with pity and false worry in his voice in response of Lux’s words.

“Dimitri please stop making excuses...you’re making me tired at hearing your incessant rudeness.” Vasco gloomily replies. “We’re making a scene, please stop. Stop this utter nonsense and accept your punishments before we draw the attention of the boss.” Vasco steps back from everyone to keep them all in his sights. “Now, everyone who is not being punished...leave or will make you.”

Crow winced then looked a spirit and Dimitri as he gave a soft whimper and sorry as he turned and left heading to his cage knowing the trainers would want him there till they needed him in the afternoon.

Once he was in his cell he sat there and took his blindfold off when the tarp was down and looked at where the others where with a pained expression, he looked at the others and pet wiky as he sat on the tree branch that was in his cage and soon started to cry softly not wanting the others to be punished at all.

Ollie sat on a shelf, collecting dust, all of the sudden a small 'achoo!' sounded from the shelf with a flurry of dust as Ollie's enchantment went into effect, causing her to come to life in the body of a ball-jointed doll, looking around with a small yawn

Maria had been watching and listening as she moved the crates and she was so glad she wasn't involved. But she was worried for the others for it seemed they were to be punished. Though they weren't human so they withstand more then she ever could and she was a bit envious of that. She walked over to get the last crate she went to pick it up. It was the heaviest out of all of them. Maria was going to have to walk slowly for this one or she would drop it. Her arms shook a bit but she continued on her way. She was slightly startled and almost dropped the box when she heard Vasco telling everyone to leave. He didn't have to tell her twice. She continued to try to make her way but then suddenly her arms gave out and crate fell out of her arms and fell to the ground and it sounded like whatever was in there was broke. No no no no! She thought to herself. She didn't even know what was in there. Both of her hands clutch her necklace. She didn't mean to drop it they wouldn't get mad....right? Whatever she wasn't staying she was getting out of there. She started to make her leave and left the crate she dropeed

Growing more and more pissed, Lux spat in the direction of Vasco. "How about you eat shit and die? Maybe then we would all be happy." Her golden eyes held a fire in them and if it wasn't for her energy being drained from both the sun and the lack of her Ball, they would all be burnt to a crisp. "We all know what happens when any of you try to hurt me, it's merely deflected by the Void." She laughed almost maniacally at her empty threat. Deep down she knew that was only partially true, she had been out in the sun for too long. The Void wouldn't so much as shield her from a punch much less a whip. "That's the reason you couldn't brand me, you wannabe plague doctor. How about you get out the thirteen hundreds?" Her smile had grown more increasingly disturbing. "As for you, doll face, be glad you have him to hold me back from ripping your sorry excuse as a puppet apart piece by little wooden piece."

“You should’ve just listen to my advice...” The puppet says quietly and resignedly and even quieter, so quiet only those with enhanced hearing could hear it. “...I was only trying to help you all...”

“Watch your language!” Vasco snaps scoldingly at Lux. Lux involuntarily and jerkily walks toward Vasco as he smacks his riding crop across her cheek. The doctor watches as a welt appears on her face. “The first brand didn’t stick but perhaps if I carve it into you, maybe this time it will stay and if it doesn’t...I will carve it into your skin each and every single day until it does.”

Lux​

At the thought of being carved into like a piece of wood, Lux became unnaturally quiet and deflected her gaze elsewhere. She tried her best not to come back with some more rhetorical and sarcastic comments, though it ached her to do so. She bit her lip hard enough to draw a few drops of blood to further remind herself that silence was key. The heat of the whelp across her cheek was just a reminder that the Void couldn't protect her. She just couldn't heal herself with the rate she was deteriorating. To be honest, she was exhausted and just wanted to sleep in the shade for a few hours.

Spirit sighed at the fact that the kitsune had tried to attack Vasco. Of course he had already decided to stay quiet for the time being, simply watching as Lux's fist was caught. Oh, so close. He thought to himself as he let out a brief chuckle. "Tsk tsk tsk. So many rude people today aren't there? Maybe it really is the heat getting to us but that's no reason to actually lash out." He commented as he looked at both Lux and Vasco. Seeing that both seemed pretty angry he was just trying to lighten the mood.
Hearing both sides continue to bet angrier Spirit resigned himself to just watching the two exchange verbal assaults. He didn't even notice as Crow took off again, or at least didn't care. When he witnessed Vasco strike Lux he growled but did his best to not simply jump out of his cage and rip Vasco's throat out. He wasn't even sure if he could since the man was able to stop Lux's punch without a second thought.

Martyr

Martyr walked with purposeful steps once more. She flicked her cloak away from her so she didn't step on it. She strode straight towards Vasco. She was already a little late to intervene, but the affects wouldn't be too drastic. She would make amends later into the night. She couldn't imagine the wrath if she simply stood by and did nothing.
She gripped the riding crop with her scarred hand and stood between the two of them, raising her chin to Vasco. Her mouth was set in a deep scowl.
"Watch where your crop lands, Vasco. I am forgiving...the gods are not. I suggest you put it away and go about setting this sad excuse for a carnival up."
her voice was low and dark, her grip never once faltering on the riding crop. With her free hand she slyly gestured for Lux to get back.
"If my words do not strike a cord somewhere in that little brain of yours then perhaps the gods can teach you a lesson."

Dimitri watched the crop whip across the woman's cheek and his anger stirred in the pit of his stomach. He wouldn't just stand there while watching the poor girl being beaten and carved into. As Lux dropped her eyes and got quiet, a rarity for her, he let a growl slip through his teeth and was ready to shift when Martyr stepped in the way and stood before Vasco. Great, one more person to anger the trainers.

At Lux’s silence he felt relieved. “Now then firstly we will start with the Lux’s brand before moving onto Spiri—“ Vasco was soon cut off by Martyr.

“What the actual fuck is wrong with you all? Jeez I’m going to scream if one more person just shows up out of the blue.” Tomalyn says reaching his peak of incredulity its hands waving wildly in the air.

“God? God already hates me so what more will this do?” Vasco says this in an emotionless voice before returning to his usual polite tone saying,” Now, now Martyr there is no reason for you to be involved in this mess. Move along before I’m forced to make you and everyone move along. This has gone on long enough and I’m going to end this mess right now. So please don’t get in my way, Martyr, or you will have to join these three in punishment.” The Doctor gesturing to the three remaining people involved, not noticing the doll on the shelf.

Martyr scoffed at Vasco. She leaned forward and all but growled her words.
"You think I'm afraid of you, Vasco? I have seen the very definition of monster. Punish me if that is what you wish - I care not for markings on my flesh - but I can not - will not - let you hit Lux with your crop. I am here to observe and correct the present to keep the future on course. I can beg the gods for forgiveness, but you cannot Vasco. Leave Lux be."
She had ripped the crop from his hands, the vile thing disappearing in the darkness of her cloak. She took a step closer to Vasco. If he could see her eyes she would be glaring daggers at him, but she settled to let her aura portray her feelings towards him.
"Punish me if that's what it takes to sate your sadistic urge to hurt. I have seen many wounds upon my flesh."
Her thumb gently traced a jagged scar running the back of her hand.

Vasco gripped the cane in his other hand tightly, the hand that would holding his riding crop falling to his sides. “Don’t you know it’s rude to take people’s belongings? Thou shalt not steal are the words of god. So very rude you are, don’t make Him disappointed. Now a fourth will have to be punished.” The doctor shook his head in disappointment.

“I can’t believe how idiotic you all are!? Don’t any of you have some sort of self preservation? Any instincts in those empty noggins of yours?” Tomalyn says with stunned anger.

As crow sat in his cage he wished he could be anywhere but here, flying in the sky for at least an hour at the most to get the freedom he so wanted, as he thought this he shook his head furiously knowing such thoughts will lead to only pain and the wrath of the ring master himself.

Before long crow was dragged out of his cage by a trainer and was told to help sting the lights up that other couldn't reach, he sighed but did so, looking at the sky every so often and soon had half the lights up by 3pm, but kept working knowing he wouldn't get anything to eat or or be allowed to rest if he didn't finish by 5 which was when dinner normally was.

Maria stood back away from the ever growing chaos. This was getting insane if this didn't stop soon it was going to be hell for everyone. But there was nothing she could do to help. She was to frighten.....She just continued to watch and then suddenly something irked her. Vasco calling them rude and acting like they had to be punished and shaking his head in disappointment. But they were ones doing this. These trainers didn't have to treat them like dirt their ones that need to punished. Her face could be seen a little and there was a glare shot Vasco's way. She began to speak "But...…."It was only a whisper and her throat clogged up and she couldn't speak. She wanted to tell this guy to go to hell. That he didn't have to punish anyone and he was the one who deserved punishment not them...but her voice wouldn't work. The only way her voice ever came out clear was when she sang and even that was daring to close up on her.

Yupi

Blissfully unaware of the chaos currently unfolding, Yupi searched around the carnival. A couple of carnies had suddenly vanished and because the trainers were to busy trying to calm down some guy who kept blabbering on about evil plants, they made her do it. While she applauded their ability to find way better hiding spots than her, Morgan was going to be seriously pissed if they don't all get back to work.

As she looked she spotted someone out of the corner of her eye. It was Maria, and she appeared to have be hiding behind some boxes. "G'day Maria, have you seen
Dimitr-" her voice suddenly cut off when she turned and saw what Maria was looking at. "Ooooh shit."

Dimitri​

Glancing at the white cloaked Maria, he shook his head as subtlely as he could as he could to warned her off of interfering with what was happening. He dropped his hands and waved her off to go and do some work. "Go before he turns on you too" he whispered back at Maria before turning back to see Yipa as well and did the same for her.

He turned his eyes back to Vasco and pipped up "Vasco, take us out of the public and do your punishment then we can get back to work as to not draw more attention."

Maria looked up when she heard Yipu. She was point out to him but Yipu quickly caught on to the mess at hand. Maria then noticed Dimitri looking her way and shaking his head. He then whispered to hurry off before Vasco turned on her to. He must of noticed the glare she sent Vasco's way. She wasn't really going to do anything not like she could anyway. But she didn't like ignoring it either though would be better if no more people got caught up in it. She stood up and glanced over at Yipu. Her eye visible she gave Yipu a look that said let's just go.
