PERSONALITY
ruby's reputation precedes her to an extent. she is known mostly for sleeping around and for being a bit of a hot mess; although these things are both true, they really don't cover the extent of her personality.

ruby is intellectual, her skills lying mostly in creative writing and storytelling, and she does study a lot. she is excellent at telling stories, so well that people sometimes believe her until she laughs and says she's kidding, ruby is a big fan of fantasy and has an ongoing fantasy story of her own stored in a notebook that she keeps in her pocket. though she can appear as a "sheep", (willing to follow her friend evelyn blindly to the ends of the earth), ruby is actually independent once seperated from her group of "friends". she has a close relationship with her mom and they call each other daily to talk- she wouldn't know what to do with herself if something happened to her mom. ruby also harbours an interest for the paranormal and supernatural, ever since she visited a haunted house with a friend a few months back; once a nonbeliever, she now believes fiercely in ghosts and spirits. she even owns an ouija board.

she is friendly and generally gets along well with other people, even though she frequently teases and nicknames people; she's never cruel-hearted or mean. ruby has spent a lot in the company of a friend who treats her badly and often speaks uncertainly, ("um", "i guess", "maybe"), and is very unsure of herself- but she is slowly starting to learn more about herself and her place in this world. ruby can be brave if the situation calls for it and is also fairly level-headed, good in a crisis. she knows how to swallow her fear and be rational, when it's time to sober up and be serious, and despite always being more of a follower, ruby could step up to a leader position if she felt it was needed. ruby can keep her feelings and insecurities hidden fairly well but they're definitely there, bubbling away under the surface.

BIOGRAPHY
ruby had a fairly average childhood up until the age of about eight or nine, when her father died in a car accident. she was in the car with him at the time, in the passenger seat, and barely scraped through the incident alive. she suffered minor injuries. she had been very close with her father, both of them sharing creative minds and a love of fantasy. her fondest memories are of him reading to her as a child. his sudden death came as a shock to ruby and her mother. one of ruby's greatest regrets is that she avoided her father's funeral out of fear. since the accident, ruby refused to sit in another car until she was eighteen and claims she will never learn to drive.

after that, ruby was raised entirely by her mother; they have a very close relationship and her mom still checks up on her often. ruby's mom was very strict with her while she was growing up, which lead to ruby having a quite sheltered and uneventful rest of childhood. although ruby never felt that she was trapped or restricted, looking back she wonders if maybe she should have tried harder to be more independent. coming to college away from home was a very big step for ruby, even if it was almost entirely funded by her mom- they have always been a wealthy sort of family- but ruby has been striving to be more independent since living away from home.

in fact, ruby ended up at almost the opposite end of the spectrum after making friends with a girl called evelyn at college: a popular girl with very few morals that gets a kick out of adventure. since then, ruby's life has been mostly party after party and she's become very much the sort of girl seen stumbling around drunk with her friends at four in the morning. evelyn (ruby's friend) is actually quite manipulative and unfair in how she treats her so-called "friends" and their friendship is not healthy at all. ruby often feels that she is "not good enough" to be friends with evelyn and has become highly insecure about her self worth, though it is not obviously apparent. ruby has a reputation for being fairly popular and sleeping around. she's a social smoker but doesn't enjoy it.

PERSONALITY
soft-spoken and shy, angel rarely draws much attention to himself and is perfectly content to stay up all night sketching or practicing a new song on his guitar. he's very sweet-natured and rather naive for his age, though luckily the boy is intuitive enough to stay out of most kinds of trouble.

he spent his high school years bringing worlds to life on paper and in song, and is a bit out of the loop when it comes to what's cool or popular with his peers. in fact, angel tends to prefer the company of animals, though he's not antisocial. he's struggled with depression for more than half his life, though he tries to keep it hidden as not to concern those he cares about. still, it isn't to hard to figure out if you pay attention to his somewhat pessimistic outlook and morbid jokes.

an emotional soul by nature, angel is quite sensitive and it isn't difficult to hurt him with words or gestures. he cries rather easily, a fact the youth has always found embarrassing and tries his best to hide. while he definitely wears his heart on his sleeve, angel is not a pushover by any means and will stand up for what he believes in, even if his knees shake the entire time. it takes a lot to anger him, but if you manage to, expect him to grow cold and sarcastic rather than loud and violent.

though he's what most would consider a loner, angel craves friendship and is extremely loyal to those he cares about. winning him over isn't too difficult, and he'll always offer a shoulder to cry on or some well-meaning, if slightly quirky advice.

born to a single teen mother with a somewhat odd taste in baby names, angel grew up poor but was very much loved. his early years were as innocent as one could hope for, and to this day he remembers them fondly. his life became much more difficult once he entered middle school, and the combination of stress and bullying sent him spiralling into depression. angel's life only got worse in high school, and he hit rock bottom before getting the counselling he needed to recover. the one thing that kept him going through all his struggles was creativity, and angel decided to focus his attention on his three main passions: art, animation and music.

Jasper is a rather androgynous Korean male with rather pale skin and tousled brown hair. Unlike most Korean males, he has light freckles dotting the bridge of his nose and one right on the edge of his nose, which has caused many unnecessary bullying in his life. He stands at a small 5 foot three (five foot two if you're really specific) and is almost abnormally thin weighing eighty-three pounds on a good day. His hair goes down to his neck when straightened, although he usually keeps it in his natural curly form. His eyes are large and almond shaped, being black in color, and when he eats they get larger. His cheeks are naturally round, and his face is small, giving him a more childish look that make people assume he's younger than he actually is. His usual attire usually consists of sweatshirts/sweaters, ripped jeans, and converse.

PERSONALITY
Jasper is a kind and selfless individual who will always put the needs of others before him. He's easily excited over small things and loves to show his smile to others whenever he can get the chance. He's rather childish and playful, preferring to be a kid rather than an adult, although when the situation calls for it he can be much wiser than his years. Whenever he has no one else to talk to, he'll have conversations with himself, acting out two roles whilst doing something else. Because of his strange personality people usually don't want to even be near him, but those that do he is loyal until the end. He's a trustworthy person and almost never lies to those around him, and when he does it's usually over silly things. He loves having fun, although he knows when to stop and get serious (even though he still may be cracking a grin or two). He hates getting scolded or yelled at, but that doesn't necessarily make him a goody two shoes as his love for adventure often overpowers it.

Jasper is also the type of individual to hold in his negative feelings until he can't anymore. He doesn't like showing people the bad side of him as he thinks it's ugly and believes that other people will too. He never cries in front of people and saves it for when he's by himself, and while he can count the number of times he's gotten mad on one finger, he definitely saves it for when he's by himself. Despite everyone thinking the opposite, Jasper is a naturally soft spoken pessimistic, and is often times asked to speak up as he wasn't heard the first time. He hates height and weight comments and even though he's gotten used to them, they still annoy him ever so slightly. He doesn't like being the center of attention like some assume, and while he would rather hang in the back and talk to maybe one or two people rather than a group, his appearance doesn't help much. Because of frequent teasing and other traumatic experiences he's had, Jasper usually experiences frequent panic attacks and while he tries to stop them around others, he's not always successful. He's actually very inesecure when it comes to a lot of thing, mainly his appearance and personality. At one point he would out make up on to hide his freckles, and went without talking for five months so people wouldn't know his personality.

BIOGRAPHY
Jasper was born into a kind and loving family, with two loving parents. Even though he was an only child, he was almost never lonely and bathed in the love and warmth of his parents. They were middle class, and he went to a decent school and got good grades so that he could make his parents proud of him. On his way back home from his kindergarten graduation everything went wrong. It began to storm whilst his parents were driving out to eat and Jasper being frightened began to cry. His father, who had been driving at the time tried to soothe his son, although he swerved and the car dived head first into a nearby lake. His parents instantly died on impact and Jasper, haunted by the images of his impaled parents somehow made it out the car and while he couldn't swim, he was able to float to the surface.

Three hours later when the EMT arrived they found the young boy suffering of hypothermia, though his parents were at the bottom of the lake and were long gone. After waking up again in the hospital it was found that Jasper had broken three ribs, and had many cuts and scratches on his body. Once he was able to be released he was taken in by his aunt and uncle on his mom's side, and while they were nice, they were always away on business trips. His aunt and uncle already had a son who was three years older than him and like most parents would do, they left the older in charge.

Sadly Jasper's cousin Theo wasn't nearly as nice as he appeared to be. He was sadistic and enjoyed seeing Jasper in pain, often shoving him down stairs or scratching him with scissors. Jasper who was frightened would often try to avoid his cousin, as even at such a young age he knew he didn't have a place in the house and that his aunt and uncle would never believe him. Jasper didn't go back to a regular school until he was ten, and Theo took the chance to abuse him even more. The other kids soon took part in this so called bullying, because of his appearance and freckles, as well as his "strange" personality.

Things continued like this until Jasper believed he'd had enough. He began using make up to cover his freckles, and stopped talking to everyone (but himself) for about six months. Eventually the bullying died down from it being the whole school, to just people in his class and his cousin. Jasper then got good at avoiding the people at school that wished to do him harm and soon didn't have to worry about them as they soon forgot he ever existed. His cousin on the other hand, never stopped. In fact, if anything things only got worse. Eventually, when he was seventeen on one of the rare occasions that his aunt and uncle were home, he told them about what was going on. Just as he thought, they didn't believe him, his uncle being mad and his aunt being hurt that he would "lie" about something like that. It was after this that he lost all hope, and as soon as he was eighteen he moved out the house and into a small apartment of his own, slowly regaining himself as he made a few friends.

PERSONALITY
Despite his tendencies to make enemies before allies, Henry is considered by the people close to him as a nice person. There was a time in his childhood when he was always smiling and making jokes. Now, however, he smiles less often. That said, he is still somewhat kind and can be pleasant and charming when he really wants to. He can appear quite stoic or pensive, even cold, to others and tends to keep his opinions to himself. However, he can also be quite assertive and will speak his mind when something truly angers him. As he is quite intelligent, he doesn’t always recognise how humans depend on one another, believing he can fend for himself. Despite his negative qualities and the bad first impressions he makes, he has the capacity to care deeply for others and is often driven to defend the weak. Although he has a slightly perverse sense of justice, he is not entirely selfish. Nevertheless, what drives him most is the inner conflict he feels about humans as a whole. Rather than being trusting and taking each person for who they are as an individual, he is quick to be defensive and misses out on opportunities to make great friends, just as other people miss out on the chance to see his pleasant side.

When it comes to situations like this, the old Henry Leytonstone would surely have leapt on the chance to take charge. Not out of a lust for power, but rather as he had all the qualities of a good leader. Now, he retains some of those characteristics, such as assertiveness and persuasiveness, but he prefers to keep to himself rather than take charge. As such, his role in this kind of situation would likely be distancing himself from others and silently seeking out a solution on his own. The loneliness of being trapped would get to him, and so he would try to make friends with whomever he perceived to be the nicest. His moral alignment is Chaotic Good due to his good intentions but also his perverse sense of justice that leads to some rather unorthodox methods. While he may come off as slightly antagonistic in the bunker, he likely means well.

BIOGRAPHY
The son of a wealthy lawyer and a suburban housewife, Henry lived a peaceful existence on a big but quiet street in Blackheath, England. His time in school was mostly a positive experience and he grew from being a relatively shy boy to a confident leader. However, shortly after he reached the peak of popularity and respect came his fall. A kindhearted boy, he was an easy target for bullies and he would seldom fight back. Ultimately, he accepted his fate as his own and continued to try and look out for others, even when others were hurting him. Some might call this admirable, others would think him stupid. Regardless, the whole experience left Henry cynical and he has never quite been the same since then. It is almost impossible to understand what he's thinking.

PERSONALITY
Melonie, or Mel for short, is a very head strong girl, often doing whatever she can to get things done and won't let anyone get in her way. She's always thinking up a storm but usually, keeps quiet unless it's work related. She usually quite quiet because of this, only speaking when spoken too or simply too lost in thought to bother communicating with others. She is also a bit shy due to her not interacting with very many people and definitely not new people. One thing that Mel does have for her in ways of social interaction is that she is good at lying, especially in relation to her job.

Mel is, once well known, quite a fun person to be around, before her job she used to go to parties and drive around the desert to explore. She loves adventure but now usually lets that reside in her books, with the occasional video game. Lucky for her she's not deep enough to not be allowed letters, although monitored she sends quite a few to her mother and sister, though rarely she gets anyback. Most likely being withheld from her. Inspections for things coming in take a lot longer than things going out.

BIOGRAPHY
Melonie was born in Eureka Oregon and spent her time hiking and exploring nature with her family before getting a full scholarship to MIT. After she spent most of her time inside studying just for entrance exams when those were done she headed off to college and said her goodbyes. A few years later she graduated with her Bachelors, Masters and was working on her Doctorate when she was recruited by the US Government along with other MIT students of her field, Energy and Particle Physics with a minor in Quantum mechanics. She took the job as it paid very well and allowed her to keep up with her studies with many Government perks. She then spent the next few years in a research facility outside a military base in the middle of nowhere. She didn't mind it too much, but she was always on her toes, especially when talk of nuclear threats came about. Her branch got very busy.

PERSONALITY
Maverick lives up to his name. He doesn't happen to follow the rules often, spending his time avoiding authorities or just flat exploring by himself. Maverick is a hard worker but only when it's benefiting him majorly. He tends to be flirtatious and quite cocky. Not being the most expressive, he can certainly get it across how he is feeling by body language but not so much being elaborate and descriptive. He's dominant, belligerent, annoying, sarcastic, narcissistic, hard working, confident, witty, and sometimes kind.

BIOGRAPHY
Born into a family without a father figure, Maverick had to figure it on his own what it meant to be male. He grew up raising his younger sister while his mother was at work, working twice as hard with 2 jobs. He never saw his mother that much and therefore never grew close. He recognized the importance of hard work and family. Which is why he hates his lazy excuse of a father... wherever that asshole is. At 15, and after coming home from work and finding out his sister had been raped, he organized a group of guys to kick the living tarnation after the guys who did it. Spending a year and a half at a Juvenile Detention Center, he grew a cold demeanor and grew a hate for authority.

Evie is a distant person that gets lost in her own head sometimes and is prone to getting caught up in her own thoughts- she can seem disconnected with reality to an extent. She is also prone to feeling anxious and frightened, usually by her own intrusive and obsessive thoughts. Aside from her disorder, Evie is a friendly and caring person, who cares deeply about protecting other people. She's witty, smart, and knowingly beautiful- her looks are something she's managed to make a career with. She likes to look and feel beautiful. Outwardly, Evie is positive and is usually happy when she's around other people. She likes music and art despite being uncreative herself. Evie also likes movies, as she considers them to be an escape, and can enjoy every genre.

Evie loves her family and friends and expresses this openly with words and physical affection, (she's a hugger). She tries to get along with everyone and will always try to resolve an argument or a disagreement- she can also be defensive of people she likes, even when they make bad decisions. Although Evie's paranoia isn't usually visible, she can sometimes babble about it when she's very upset and her compulsions can be obvious to people who are playing close attention. Evie doesn't like to be left alone, as that's when the instrusive thoughts are loudest, and can only sleep if she knows other people are nearby (and can hear them). She is very private about her OCD and doesn't like to tell people.

BIOGRAPHY
Born into the cycle of poverty, things were never going to be easy for Evie. She was one of five children and raised by a single mother, working three jobs- naturally, as a middle child, she went by mostly unnoticed by her mother. Perhaps that's why her mother didn't notice her disorder developing early on.

Shortly before Evie turned ten, she started experiencing obsessive and instructive thoughts about death and about dying. These thoughts interfered with her daily life at first and then slowly took her over. By the time she was twelve, Evie was showing sure signs of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Her compulsions included having to perform counting rituals in order to enter certain rooms or cross certain roads or go to certain places. There were certain places in the city that she refused to step foot in altogether, places she called "hot spots", which meant that Evie had to work out elaborate routes to get anywhere. And all the time, her obsessive thoughts did not go away. Compulsions were temporary relief, short-term solutions, and seeing a decent therapist was too expensive. Her OCD continued throughout her teenage years and still does to this day.

Evie was spotted by a scout for a modelling agency when she was seventeen and has been working ever since to put herself through college. Modelling is only temporary until she figures out what she wants to do.

Her children come before anything else, so it's unsurprising that she's concerned about them. Those who would hurt the weak and helpless also anger her, whether it be at work or at home. She has no respect for someone who would cheat on their spouse. She tends to be irritable in stressful situations, though she tries to keep her cool. Even if she fails, she can usually stop herself. She grew up in a normal home with her little brother. She was in a nasty divorce three years ago as a result of her ex-husband's adultery and his abusive nature. He cheated on her and abused their two children, both physically and emotionally. She divorced him and took her maiden name back. She was able to keep the kids. She found it increasingly difficult to pay the rent on an overworked and underpaid caretaker's wages. Due to this, she decided to go back to school about a year ago. She feels somewhat out of place among the younger students, but she's not going to let that stop her.
