So, recently I've been going through a very hard moment in my life, at the same I've been getting into some horror manga, principally a few stories writen by Junji Ito, my favorites until now being Uzumaki and his iteration of Frankenstein, so taking on inspiration from the works I've been consuming as of late and also to help me cope with how depressed I've been feeling as of late, I decided I wanted to do a plot which would still have romance and possibly action/adventure in it like I do with all my roleplays, but while not necessarily horror, having a more morbid feel to it you know? The type of story that although not necessarily horror would leave you with reflective phylosophical thoughts, so if you're looking for something more light hearted this might not be your cup of tea.

My character is a boy born under mysterious circumstances with the gift of seeing numbers above people's head that works as a counter for the days that person has left to live, he can even see how much time is left for his own death by looking himself on the mirror, at first he tries using that to prevent people from dying by warning them of their eventual deaths, but he soon finds out that he can't change fate, and if a person is fated to die on a certain day, they'll die one way or another, because of that he starts being associated with the deaths he predicts as people start mistreating and avoiding him fearing that he might be cursed, which is kinda true depending on how you see things, this all caused him to be alone for most of his life and slowly develop sociopathic tendencies due to trauma as signed by his complete indifference and apathy towards people, eventually it comes to the point where he has a single year left to live according to the numbers above his own head, even if he knew the day would come, he ends getting desperate, he doesn't fear death by itself, but rather dying without knowing how it is to truly care about someone, he makes a contract with a demon, your character, selling his soul for her to do whatever she wanted with him when he died, in exchange of helping him find a way to cheat on fate itself and avoid his own demise which seems inevitable and also find out about what he truly is and why he was born with such a big connection to the supernatural, and even if in the end they couldn't find a way around it, he'd like to at least spend his last year by the side of someone who doesn't fear him, and as a demon your character fits the role perfectly, feeling more of a sense of curiosity and fascination for his whole situation rather than actual fear, with the contract made, both start a quest to uncover the truth about the boy with shinigami eyes, possibly falling in love with each other along the way just for your character to take his soul with her in the end so that you both can spend eternity together in a sinful place...

Shinigami Eyes: After getting into the study of the occult to uncover the secrets of his supernatural origins, he started to understand better the nature of his powers and ended up discovering that it's somehow related to the uncommon red color in his eyes, causing him to name it after the Japanese god of death, the Shinigami Eyes allows him to sense the eventual death of other people, he can also know how a person has died just from looking at their corpse, besides being able to instantly tell when someone or something dies on the surrounding area, his eyes also allow him to see spirits and manipulate the Destrudo, which is the key to the rest of his abilities.
Destrudo: Destrudo is the opposite of Libido, Libido here not referred as in it's common usage sexual sense, but rather as an positive energy that exists within a person's body and soul along negative energy, while Libido is the energy that allows for the rise of intense positive feelings and the creation of life, Destrudo is the destructive energy of death that drives people into killing and harming others while causing a total lack of empathy for others and a sense of uncaring apathy, people usually have both opposing energies inside them, the less Libido a person has, the more Destrudo they have inside them, and the more they're inclined to violent and harmful tendencies that would be deemed as wrong and immoral by our society, to be completely stripped away of Destrudo would be the key to eternal life as a person's death is caused by the Destrudo inside their body slowly destroyinf their Libido, and to be completely taken over by Destrudo, would be the same as being dead, Akamado is an extremely odd case where his spirit is composed of 99,9% Destrudo and 0,01% Libido, to the point where you can barely say he's even alive, this excessive amount of destructive and negative energy causes people to perceive him as a threat just like a dead corpse is perceived as something disgusting and repulsive by the human brain, people will feel uncomfortable and utterly disturbed just from looking at him, although this is one hell of a curse, it's also his biggest weapon, first because the excessive negative energy is so overwhelming that it easily allows him to make others bow to his will through sheer intimidation, his shinigami eyes also allows him to perceive this energy and manipulate it, allowing him to launch large concentrations of Destrudo against his opponents and even defend and shield himself with it, kinda like a very ominous and twisted black and red aura in the form of spirals that manifests around him, these attacks he makes with Destrudo will actually consume and cause decay on anything it touches within the material world, his manipulation of Destrudo comes to a point where he can considerably slow down any type of healing or regenerative ability by increasing the amount of Destrudo in a person's body and even heal people by decreasing the amount of Destrudo in their bodies, and he also has a certain resistance to attacks using negative energy because of his body already having so much Destrudo in it, however, his body is still that of a fragile human, and because of that, the usage of that power causes his body to slowly rot as well.
Personality
Akamado has an utter indifference and disregard for the lives of others and even his own, the only reason he has a appreciation for his adoptive mother is because she's the provider of food, shelter and also the small bit of a affection that he still needs as a barely living human, the positive energy within the living just affects him in a wrong way to the point where he actually feels the most comfortable around places with large amount of dead people like his mother's graveyard, which gives him an odd feeling of pleasure as if his body is absorbing all the negative energy generated by these places and feeding off it, Akamado's behavior is very close to that of a sociopath considering his dislike and even disgust for life in general, although most deaths he was accused of were merely a fruit of him having a spot-on prediction of when people would die, some might have actually been caused by him using his powers unconsciously on impulse, and as a child he did have the classic behavior of killing small animals for fun like insects and rats for fun, as a young adult, he really enjoys horror movies and everything that's macabre in a way, his favorite music genre are typical death metal bands and songs melancolic and introspective feel to it, he has a fascination for any kind of fictional work that explores phylosophical themes while being frequently affected by random moments of melancholy and existential crisis himself, he does have a certain tendency for self-harm when not being able to hurt anyone to relieve his frustrations, despite all that and clearly being someone with serious problems, if you were to ask him if he's an evil person, he would simply say he's someone who lives for himself and himself alone, not because he loves himself, quite the contrary, but simply because as a human he still has an instinct for survival, and thus he wishes to keep living merely because it's convenient for him rather than actually enjoying his own life, if he were to desire something, that would be an actual reason to live for rather than simple commodity.
Backstory
Akamado is the adopted son of the owner of a graveyard, the circumstances of his birth or who even are his real parents is completely unknown to him, while growing up, the young man seemed to always be at ease near the dead while seemingly uncomfortable around the living, his adoptive mother although seemingly used to dealing with dead people, is still disturbed to this day by her own son, and even if she tries her best to not transpire that feeling, he knows deep down that she's scared of him as evidenced by when she freaks out whenever he arrives at a place she's in without being noticed, from a very early age she tried to take him to several psychiatrist who all ended up giving up on treating him, some even retiring due to saying the kid was causing them nightmares, it'd come to a point where the boy had to study at home since he'd frequently be beaten up by the kids and even teachers at school who accused the boy of being possessed and also being the cause death of several students, now as a young adult, he sees himself getting closer and closer to the predicted day of his own death, helping his mother on the cemetery the best way he can since he can't really get a normal job due to people being terrified of him, all that while also being suspicious that he somehow was responsible for the death of his adoptive dad who died when he was a baby since his mother avoids talking about it as much as possible, a few years ago, he started getting into the occult in a attempt to find an answer for his supernatural nature, getting desperate, he'd summon a demon to aid him in that quest.

I'd greatly appreciate if you could avoid making your character a damsel in distress who needs to be saved all the time, I especially like confident and strong female characters, for this plot in specific it'd be really useful if she acted as the assertive side of the relationship since my character has a more closed in personality, like all my roleplays, this RP will possibly include some action and fighting depending on how things go, I'd also like you to contribute to the roleplay by helping me play the side characters within the story, the division would be simple, you would be playing all female side characters while I would be playing as the male ones, last but certainly not least, finally, if you're interested, don't hesitate to send me a message about it (;
