Fantasy The Book of Fairytales

Plot

There exists a far away land where all things mythical and magical reside, a world of whimsy and joy... if you catch it on a good day. When a pair of curious "Surface Dwellers" happen across a strange book, they become full invested in the story of a handful of peculiar characters. But, suddenly the story with more than half the book filled with blank pages. They later return to the book to find a note that most certainly was not there before scratched onto one of the blank pages. Each day, they find new stories and notes in the book. Eventually, they seek to return the book to the shop when they purchased it from. Through a series of strange happenstances, they find themselves in the world they had read so much about in the midst of a civil war.

These roles are not first come, first serve. I'd like for this roleplay to be a long-term so I'm planning on keeping it to a small group and the initial planning and character creation might be a little extensive. Please only apply to this RP if you have the time and genuine, long-term interest. Replies should be a minimum of three paragraphs (although always, always quality over quantity) and they should have minimal mistakes. Always feel free to write more than the minimum.

As of right now, I can't think of a no-fly zone so long as they won't be screaming to be the center of attention or be overpowering in whatever situation. Did you have something particular in mind or just asking?

You're more than welcome to make a character sheet for him but I can't guarantee acceptance until after seeing it. The places in the picture were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head and a few that first popped up when I went searching for mythical lands. Your character can be from any fairytale so long as they aren't a Mary Sue, OP, etc.
