Darn, I was going to say I'd love to play the aspect of disrepair.
If you're willing to play the character I already have for it maybe you can? I already wrote out her characterization in the story, but you might be able to change some.

Marissa Frugality:
The daughter of Gier and Neveah (Charity). Her mother left when she was a baby centuries ago and her father and his lackeys raised her since then. She's inherited some of the powers of both her parents, letting her absorb damage and give healing or vice versa. Her father's shown her more affection than he does anyone else, but that's still very little. She's torn between her two natures and doesn't know what she wants.

With respect, I'd like to flush out my own character. I haven't rped in a hot minute, so it would be good practice to get me in the mindset.

Well I already did this. Maybe Marissa ends up a failure but Greed tries again? You'd have to have your character be a descendant of Greed's along with some other details.

I could work with that. I was thinking I could be a regular mortal and not a virtue anyway. It would make what magic I have in mind for my character more interesting anyway.

For instance, if I were the child of greed, I could be a mage of Chamon, as greed's aspect is materialistic in nature. I've also had a character in mind with a construct oriented magical system anyway, so I'd love to do something along those lines.

It's Charity's daughter.

I like the obsessive attempts, but gonna let you know now, it won't actually work. The real reason behind the birth of the Sins and Virtues and their real roles to play will be revealed later.

If there is a role or nation you wanted to be apart of, as a mortal, go for it! [Just be sure to read the magic section on the lore page]

Also, if you wanted to be a virtue, a few of them are available. Some of them haven't responded to my prompts, so I'm about to reopen them.

If it's alright, I was thinking about being a half high elf and maybe the son of greed? also is the information about nations in the racial discriptions? I have read both the lore and the magical descriptions, and I would really like to explore the magic of Chamon. I'm kinda getting a scaled down FMA magic system vibe from that magic, which I love.

So long as greed is cool with you being his son, I have no issues at all with it!

Nations are in the 'Others' tab. Greed has a nation he created that you'd probably be a part of [unless you're a rebel].

Yeah, you can use Chamon a lot like FMA abilities.

Just run the CS by me if it's Greed's son.
I'd love to go that rout! I was thinking of being a rebel against him, turning more to my Elvin lineage as an identifier. I'm leaning on Chamon because of Greed's aspects, especially in terms of metals as wealth. I'll start constructing my Bio, and I'll be sure to let you know when it's done so you can look it over.

Just keep in mind that your enemy is an entire Empire and that Greed has many children and grandchildren. You'll need a lot of explaining about how your character has survived this long.

Hmm perhaps you're right. I don't think my character could survive that, so I might write him as a more altruistic character, though through the lens of greed. For example, my character supports greed as he believes that if greed's domain holds all riches, then it could unite the world as a form of utopia? Would that work in any way. I definitely see where you're coming from.

Greed already holds all riches if you look at his Empire's CS. His excuse is that he's keeping wealth from corrupting people, but he actually just wants it all for himself. He wants everything all for himself.
His entire Empire is based on feeding his Greed, any benefits to people in it are because those benefits outweight their costs.

Hm yeah I can see where you're coming from. Then I might overhaul my idea. I might make my character out to be a pretty brilliant mage, who hungers or wisdom and knowledge like Greed hungers for all material possessions. That way my character could not only be more aligned with his father, but also be of use to him.

He doesn't have to be like him. As long as he's of more use to Greed alive and relatively unrestricted that;s what he'll get. I'd suggest reading the Empire of the Gierlands CS and Greed's CS.

Got it, and I just finished reading the Gierlands cs, and I'm working on Greed's. I'm starting to get a good feel for it. I'll type up my cs and see what you think. Thank's for being patient with me. I'll work to be more diligent.
