Realistic or Modern The Beginning{Le Amataga} Always Open and Accepting

Characters
Here

.Hana.

Basically a female Shane Dawson
We needed a new island.

Our ships were sailing for so many days. Often we would fall into the mercy of storms that would interrupt our peaceful voyaging.
Even though the way was tough, we found our island.
The new island was plentiful and would sustain the many families our village holds. The island is lush with trees and edible plants.
The only thing we needed to do was build the many homes we needed.

This is just the beginning.

Felesita
Her heart was pounding as she leaped down from a large boat and into the shallow ocean water.
Pulling her hair behind her ear and staring at the large beautiful island they came too. She took the canoe by the small hook at the very tip and helped her father who was pushing the boat from behind. As the boat came onto the land, her father stepped over beside her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "So, you really think this is the one?" Felesita turned to him and he shrugged "All I know is that the chief brought us here, and it looks amazing. A wonderful place for you to build a home of your own and one day make your own family." She froze.

Alepati
"My own family?" he turned to her and simply nodded. "You know, on our last island. I was fifteen when I met your mother, Mura." he walked forward and watched Felesita follow him. "Later, we got married and when I was seventeen, she gave birth to you," he said, placing a hand on her cheek "Your mother was sixteen when she had you and you're nineteen! I expected you to have kids and a family years ago." He turned his attention to the village "keep our family growing, Felesita. We are the closest to the chief's but one day we could be the chief family!" he walks in front of her "I want to live to see that happen to our family, Felesita."

Felesita
Turning to her father and back to the woman "We didn't know that this island was populated already." she swiftly turned to stare back at the many boats coming to the shore. She swallowed thickly and stepped towards the woman "Our village is here because we needed a new island. Is there a population on the east side of the island?" bringing her hands behind her back "If the population is big here we will need to alert the chief," she said turning to her father.

Alepati
He turned towards the villagers as well as the chief and shook his head "I do not think it will come to that." he turned to the woman "what is your name?" he simply asked, pushing Felesita behind him. "we are no real threat to you, but we cannot stay here if it is populated." he felt Felesita put her hands on his shoulder "why not?" she asked "Because we need an island of our own, and the chief will not be happy to know that this island is taken."

Felesita watched her father turn and walk towards the boats, and she could hear him ask if there was enough food for everyone to go voyaging again.

[First response]
Venis
Upon arrival to the village, a young girl was busy picking some chestnuts from a nearby tree. Her pink outfit was blowing in the wind as she placed them in the basket at her feet. She looked for a moment, stopped, then looked again to see the two arriving. She smiled and instantly stopped picking. She held the basket in her hands as she walked over to greet the two of them. Her feet were covered in soars from walking around in the tall grass. When, or if, they catch her attention, she curtsies calmly, then smiles. "Welcome, newcomers."
[Second response / reply]

Venis
She looked confused, tilting her head somewhat to show such behavior. "Um... If I count as a population as well as the animals here, I guess I count?" For the most part, because of this response, she was probably stranded here from a long time ago. When she said the word animals, a young squirrel came out of the tree she was picking from, then rested on her shoulder. It was white with brown eyes, but wasn't albino by ANY means. She moved so they could pass. "I could always just find another place to stay."

Felesita
"This isn't making any sense." she turns to the woman and crosses her arms, "you said that there was a chief here?" taking a step back and narrowing her eyes "What is your name?" she repeated her father's question. "Is there a village here or not?" her arms fell to her sides as he father came back, "The chief said it didn't look like there was any sign of a village when he was coming up on this island."

Alepati
"Father" he turned to Felesita and she just shrugged "this woman is making it seem like she is the only one, but she said that there was a chief." he gently nudged her with his elbow and smiled "are you the only one here, if you are I am sure the chief will accept you into our own village." he turned to Felesita who pouted "the chief is not a man that will accept some stranger all willy-nilly and you know that papa." and he nodded "I know, but the chief accepted me." and Felesita nodded "That's true."

Venis
She looked at them, then looked away. "Sorry... I was referring to something else... I will allow you to do as you please.." She began to walk off into the reeds, not turning around as she vanished into the thicket. She looked back. She was still in the past, hoping she wouldn't run into them again. She settled near a small river, then stared at herself for sometime.

(I didn't mean to include the chief thingy, but I fixed it best I could)

Felesita
She watched the woman walk into the weeds and thick grass. Turning to her father and sighing "I didn't even get her name." she said, pulling her arms back up to her chest and crossing them. Alepati lightly rubbed her shoulder with his hand and walked forward in quick long strides. "We will get her one day, and hopefully she will agree to join our village, and maybe the chief will allow it as well." He stops and turns to her. "Hopefully"

"Hopefully"

Venis
She had remained where she was for at most a full weeks time before finally starting to spy on the village's progress through the reeds & tall grass. She didnt wish to talk to anyone or make any suonds. But... She kept looking to Felesita the most. Something about her just made Venis' heart race & smile. What was it though? Would she ever find out? One day, she was looking when the branch she was resting upon snapped & collapsed. She quickly tried to escape, but ended up leaving a trail of smashed grass in her wake.

(Sorry I've been kind of busy with my animals, but I am back!)
Felesita
Her hands were covered in sores as she was helping build the cots that the villagers lived in. It has only been a few days and she was already gaining reputation from other villagers who had never met her. Some called her sweet, others called her snarky. It was all the different villagers perspective, especially when they rarely saw her. She was always with her father or grandmother as she was close to them the most. Her father had been busy by the reef, fishing with the other men and women who were interested.

However, one day she was helping her grandmother in the gardens, weeding and such when she heard the loud snap of a branch and turned from her work. Excusing herself, she went to investigate the sound.

Venis
She was passed out on the ground, not moving at all. She had tried to drag herself away after the snap, but apparently the fall had fractured her leg. She was basically out for the time being & ripe for the grabbing. The squirrel Felesita saw before was sniffing her head & trying to get her to awaken. At a loss for what to do, it turned to her.

Felesita
Carefully stepping over weeds and berry bushes to see what had caused such a loud noise, covering her mouth when she saw what had happened. Her hand gently grazed the injury that the fall had caused, turning back to the village and her grandmother, quickly moving away from the body and to the older woman. "Grandma, Grandma!" she quickly shook the woman's shoulder and her grandma finally turned to her "yes, what is it?" she pointed towards the area she came from "someone is injured, very badly."

Guiding her grandmother carefully around the thorns and sharp thickets, she pointed down at the body. "I don't know what to do."
"Let's take her to your father, Felesita."

Squirrel
The little fluffy tailed creature watched as the two of them arrived. Concerned that the grandma was out to hurt Venis, it got defensive, resting on her unconscious back and trying to growl, but only mastering mere squeaks. It didnt know any better since not only someone she trusted was passed out, but now two random people were coming to her. It only assumed they wanted to kill and eat her limb for limb.
