Two Thousand Club
The principal stood in the front of the cafeteria "Attendance please say here after you are called Derrick Lou, Blair Roberts, Skylar Renee' Hale, Patrick Smith, and Killian Patterson.
Derrick looked around at everyone and started to make mental notes "Blair cute probably stuck up, Skylar cute probably only into dirtbags, Patrick..., and Killian looks pretty normal. Derrick sits next to Killian and starts doing homework. "Three hours of nothing," Derrick says aloud the principal frowns at him then goes into the other room. Derrick puts his legs on the desk "Heyy, I'm Derrick and I'm here because I fell asleep during morning detention, why are you here?"

Killian
The cafeteria lighting was really obnoxious to Killian, he preferred lighting that was a bit more ambient. He squinted at the lights as he made his way to one of the open seats. He listened intently to the principle and raised his hand when his name was called. Another young man sat down next to him and started speaking. He sighed . "I'm in detention because I forgot to silence my phone in first period and someone called me in the middle of class." He said softly. He didn't really pay attention to anyone else around him...he wasn't super social.

Skylar
Skylar was one of the first ones in the cafeteria, she watched as other people trickled in. She absent-mindedly drummed on her desk lightly with her pencils and tapped her foot to a song that was playing in her head. Two of the girls in detention could have passed off as twins, she chuckled to herself. She heard a couple of the boys tell each other why they were there..they were pretty lame reasons. She was there because she got caught skipping class..which was also lame. She sunk down in her seat and groaned.

Charlotte Jackson
It wasn't her fault that she was late. Charlotte just happened to accidently get stuck at a Dunkin Doughnuts in town, and happened to get herself coffee. She really didn't need the caffeine, but it tasted good. She gave a grinning salute to the principal as she walked by, apologizing for being late before he sent her to a table, with other students, ones that she didn't recognize. She shrugged, and sat down in an empty seat. "Hey guys! Sorry I'm late, I wasn't the only one who desired coffee." Charlotte smiled. She was pretty bouncy, quite the talker. Some people even found her to be annoying, which she didn't doubt. "So, you talking about detention? I'm here for dress code, apparently my skirts too short, and I guess shoulders aren't allowed to be visible here." She laughed, wiggling her shoulders to emphasize her tank top and loose shirt. This wasn't the first time she's gotten in trouble about her appearance.

Pat looked up as the principal called his name, his full name, he hated that. His face turned down into a scowl and went to looking down at the English work he had to do. He hated English with a passion and he was barely passing, mainly because wrestling and rowing were his only options of getting into a college. He wasn't going to spend the rest of his life in debt because of a student loan. He alawys did have plans to join the marines though, and that could get him places. He went back to reading the book, Moby Dick, it was extremely boring. Half of the anatomy of the fish and aquatic species was completely wrong. The reason he was in detention is because he got into a shoving match that was about to escalate before a teacher broke it up. Pat had gotten a mean streak for getting into fights, fights he usually won because of his martial arts and wrestling abilities. He hadn't gotten into a real one with punches and kicks, but it was enough for the teacher to send him to detention after him and the other boy started cursing each other out as they were getting pulled away by friends who were watching. He looked at himself in his phone's screen reflection, he was wearing his crew jacket with his wrestling quarter zip under it, lots of school spirit today. He was wearing joggers, a staple for most athletes who had to run or practice outside. Then he came to his face, those damn scars hadn't gotten any better over sophomore year. He was attacked by a bear once when he was hunting for deer during the fall, he managed to kill the thing but received some wicked scars in the process. The year before that he was attacked by a dog that scarred up his right leg along the quad. This resulted in a nickname he absolutely hated. People started calling him scar. It wasn't as bar as when people first started doing it, the mental affects of both attacks hadn't really healed, but he still didn't like it when people who didn't know him well called him that. People in the detention started talking about why they were there, most of then we're the degenerates of the school, the usual kids who didn't give a rats ass and just went so they wouldn't have to go back to the juvenile detention center. Some were there for stupid reasons, one said they fell asleep during class, another for a phone going off, one was there for skipping, one of the afformentioned degenerates. One girl was there for being a thot for lack of better words. He was debating on whether to speak up and finally decided to do it. "I'm here because I almost beat the hell out of some ass hat who thought he was hot shit." Pat could get colorful with his language, another thing that got him in trouble from time to time.

Derrick Lou

Derrick looked at Charlotte and smiled "Yeah, I kind of see why you're in detention..." He put in his headphones and started listening to some 80's guitar solos. Derrick started moving his hands playing each cord along with the guitarist in the song. Then the principal walked in "No phones.." Derrick groaned and went to turn his phone off when he got distracted by a picture someone sent him.

The principal came up behind him and took the phone "Is that Harmony? She got so big" The principal handed him his phone back "How's Diana? She stopped attending school?" Diana was the schools... Party girl everyone has seen her naked or doing drugs in the gym Derrick was the unlucky guy who got her pregnant.
"Yeah, harmony is two now and Diana is the same still partying every night .." Derrick put his phone in his pocket "Today was my visitation day.." the principal tapped his shoulder "I'm just trying to teach you youngsters discipline"

Blair sat there completely upset. She had never once in her life had detention and here she was sitting here because she was late to class. She was never late to class either. Her parents were going to be so upset. She looked around at the others realizing they were talking. She didn't think they were suppose to. Wasn't that part of the rules? Not to talk during detention. Though part of her wanted to join the conversation. "I'm here because I was late for class but I'm never late I'm always on time but this new teacher didn't seem to care. She sent me here anyway....though I was late so maybe I deserve to be here. It was irresponsible of me...." She looked towards the girl who said she had gotten in trouble for her clothes. Strange thing was Blair always wore outfits like that and she never got in trouble for it. "Excuse me but I have to say that is strange because as you can see." Blair stood up to show her dress. I wear things like this all the time and I have never gotten trouble in fact all my teachers complimented me today. How strange....Oh! Would like me to talk to the teacher who sent you here? Maybe I could help." She said smiling. "I'll tell her it's highly unfair that you got in trouble." When the principle came back in. Blair sat down quickly. She glanced over to Derrick when she over heard him and the principle talking. Diana....she knew her. Very much a party girl. She never understood why girls would be so...well loose. It was highly improper. Though she was quite curious to what the child look like but she didn't want to pry it wasn't any of her business.

Charlotte Jackson

As another man spoke, one with scars of his face and an unwelcoming vibe, the blonde grinned. "Really? That's so cool! He probably deserved it." She chuckled, imagining a fight going on in the school. Then, Charlotte watched as another girl showed off her outfit, which looked cute and comfy, but short like her own. This made Charlotte frown. "What? These teachers are full of BS." She mumbled. Not even the teachers liked her that much. She was kind of a punk, she used to get into all kinds of trouble. She'd talk out loud in class, she'd disrupt the lessons. After her father passed away she would cause trouble for others, more so than before. Her fathers line of duty kept teachers from any school from suspending her, or punishing her in other ways. She was a target, the one for blame. It was funny. But, at the other girls offer, Charlotte lit up and leaned across the table, giving a wide smile. "Would you do that? That would be awesome! Lets bring justice to those unfairly punished! Oh, I'm Charlotte." She laughed, and sat back down when she saw the principal coming, though her demeanor didn't change. She was still grinning, laying back in her chair. Charlotte did give a glance to another guy-Derrick, perhaps- and tilted her head. She knew Diana, almost everyone Charlotte knew did as well. Though they've never really hung out personally, she was quite the partyer, it was pretty fun. Those types of parties weren't her style, and she had respect for the girl for living her life so freely, but she didn't really advise the things Diana did. Charlotte just kept quiet.

Skylar sat there and listened to the conversations while she absent mindedly drummed to the song in her still. The conversation between the two girls made her shake her head. Though Skylar was more of a jeans and a band t-shirt girl herself so she never got in trouble for what she wore..because she didn't really put much thought into it. When she heard the Principle mention Pats ex she frowned a little and stopped tapping her feet. She was sitting close to Derrick, she happened to catch a glance at the picture. She sighed softly. After the principal left she leaned over to Pat. "She's beautiful." she said before going back to air drumming. She just wanted to go home be with her drumset and music. This whole thing was a huge drag and a downer.
