So before I get into the idea, I wanted to go over a few things. This isn't my mains search thread. You can find that and my other plot ideas here, if you're interested! But just a few things: This is going to be a detailed roleplay, although I will be honest and say huge blocks of texts (like 15, 20 paragraphs) turns me off. I mean detailed as in detail in your responses. Know how to put a proper sentence together, make a new paragraph when someone new is speaking, blah blah blah. Contribute to the story! Though this is my idea (though probably not the most original thing on the planet) it's our roleplay! I work full time, and though I can usually respond pretty frequently, don't be surprised if you don't get a response from me one day. I might have something going on, you don't know. Do not flood my inbox asking me where I am. When I can get back to you, I will. This is a dark romance RP of sorts, so if that's not your thing, move on.

There is a new family in town, and they are throwing a masquerade ball for boys and girls (aged late teens to mid twenties or so) to attend. Everyone is excited about the ball; who doesn't love a chance to get dressed up? Plus, your face is hidden behind a mask. You can be anyone you want to be; no one will ever know.
MC is attending like everyone else. What no one knows is that the new family throwing the ball is a family of vampires, and the ball is an excuse for the vampire 'children' to try and find their soulmates.
YC is one of the vampire 'children', and he finds his soulmate in MC. Will he take her away from her family? Taunt her from afar (or up close) until she agrees to go with him willingly? Will he threaten her or her family? Will they hate each other?
That's all up to us.
