Fantasy The Augments Interest Thread

"Augment" is a term that classifies all nonhumans. Augments are those with abilities.

On the flip side, "Basics" are the humans. Born without power, and brought up to believe that everyone is just like them.


Since the Salem Witch Trials the Augments have existed in a world seperate from the humans. A world hidden by concealer, in which they could exist safely. This world is called The Other.

The Darkling has risen and wishes to lead an army of Augments into the Basic world to take it over. He wishes to enslave the Basics and rule as King.

Those with powers have a choice to make. A side to pick. Join the Darkling, or stand up for the Basics and hope to create a world in which you might live in harmony.

A war is coming, between The Darkling and rebel faction Daybreak. Who will win?



((This is the very basic if this RP. I'll have the lore up later today or tomorrow! Feel free to ask any questions, like I said, this is just the basics.... No pun intended!)

Honeyed Tea it depends. When I put up the CS if more people are interested in one side then the other I might. But I would like to have it relatively equal.

so for shape shifter it has to be just a normal animal? it cant be something like a werewolf half man half wolf? Peculiar3

Smaaycheese It would be harder for an Augment to be in a half and half form, but yes they can. Just not as long.

Peculiar3 oh of course i understand! i was also wondering is it an option or not to have a character first with a power in there augment? for example the darkling is such a person hes the firrst who can use that power so would it be okay if i maybe my oc the first to be able to half form?
and another question i have a drawing of a character i did , its semi realistic but idk if thats okay to post for the cs! :0

Smaaycheese yes that's perfectly fine as long as they still have limitations, and yes that would be fine! I prefer realistic but it's not a rule.

Peculiar3 Hi, I didn't see it as part of the character sheets, so I was wondering if races existed (i.e elves, vampires, demons, etc)? Or like if the powers are the race (such as someone who could manipulate water was the race of water elemental).

There are no other races, everyone is strictly human... You can kind of say the different branches of Augments are different races. Hope that helps! Lemon Pledge

Alright, gotcha. Can certain augments age differently? Like I want my character to be super old, but not exactly look like a walking corpse, you feel me? Lmao.
