Veryyy interested in this! Just getting back into RPing though, so give me a bit of mercy judging my posts!

Questions I have about this though are:

Will the characters already be in a group from the get-go, sent as a team to fetch the items together? Or one by one sent on this journey, and somehow we all manage to meet up together?

Follow-up to the previous question, if your answer was the latter and the characters will be going off on their own then you can ignore this one. If the group travels together, will you have someone delegated as leader of the group? Most probably won't consider this necessary, but I've seen many adventure RPs like this fall apart due to conflicting decisions on where to go, and having the GM lead would likely keep us on track with the plot.

If we DO choose to have out character start out with a regalia (if possible), would it be alright to have "family heirloom" as the excuse?

It will be setup as a group from the get-go, however you can choose to have your character enter extraneously a bit later on! Most likely I will create a leader character, though later the leadership position may change hands depending on the circumstances.

And sure thing, you're certainly allowed to have a regalia like that!

I wouldn't exactly consider my character a marksman, if that's who you're referring to - he's not very good at landing shots. I haven't gone into his spells yet, but I see him more as a controller type character. So I don't think he should stop you from making the character you want!

Ah, my brief skim of all the characters got it wrong then haha. But nah, I've already started throwing ideas together for a knight of some sorts, so its all good.

Hey Melon Bomb , we aren't limited at all with our character's origins are we? If not, I was gonna do something along the lines of a knight of Aespire or something. I'll shoot you a PM of the CS prior to posting so you can look through it since it might bypass anything you have planned for history or traditions. He's a scrapped character from a different RP, just gotta tweak things so fits better into this RP

Also, yes, the BBC for my thing is horribly blocky lmao. Bear with it, its an old reworked character and I was too lazy to clean anything small up. Also, I'm horrid with BBC and testing, sorry!

I have added the spells to my CS and altered the regalia to something more fitting. I don't think I'll change his home nation, as it is mostly irrelevant to his character, but good to know more about the nations of this world.

So, a few questions about the Ivida?

What exactly are they...? Do they have a sort of transformation, or are they always a little bit furrier/demonic(ier?) than the other races? And if you already have this planned out where are they most common?
Also, are they always half-breeds of human, or can it also be Fae/Athanos?

Nah no transformations, they're just crossbreeds so you're on the right track about them just having additional beast-like features. They can be found anywhere really, I didn't make any plans for having bigger communities of them.

I'm interested in this and currently brainstorming some character concepts. Maybe a support-esque character since there's already a few powerhouses at the moment. A Miraqi Merchant Prince might be fun, though a researcher from Savana might be interesting too.

So, I'm thinking about starting this pretty soon but at the same time most of the folks here/that showed interested are awfully quiet and I feel like that doesn't bode very well. A lot of RPs get roadblocked early just as a global phenomenon, but infrequent communication with people who don't really seem to click with each other is never a good sign so I'm a bit apprehensive as it stands.

Maybe I'm just being too paranoid? It's hard to tell sometimes, but I guess we'll see how it goes

I'm not that used to posting in OOC threads regularly (more used to IM for OOC communication) but I can assure you of my participation.
