The prince was in his carriage. Today noon till even the young love birds would meet for the first time, much to his chagrin. Dominic did not want to marry this girl and he did not want to spend time with her. not that he had met her yet he still knew he didn't like her. It was more really that he was just a very stubborn young man and once he decided something he was going to keep to it as long as possible. 'A quality of a good king.' His father would always so not that it really was but it was seen as such.

He was quiet the whole journey and was last to get out so that the royals could talk. The princess was not outside with her parents or nearly all the servants. Her beauty was being kept till the noon meal that they would all sit as in the next half an hour. He really did not understand this but was quiet and went in following the royal pairs as they were shown to their rooms personally by serfs with their luggage.

Mina was tired, exhausted even. She was being prepped and prompted all morning long as preparation for the arrival of the prince, the betrothed. She winced, unwilling and against this marriage based on solely emotions. However, she knew that it was practically social suicide to not want to do this. Sighing, she let the maids prod her a few minutes further before asking for some peace. Because they had been buzzing around her excitedly all morning long, they finally consented. She was dressed in a royal blue and gold gown, a slightly better than average gown. Her parents had insisted she only dress up slightly, due to not wanting to leave the impression that she dressed haughtily every day.

When her maids left, she had a few moments of silence to herself, their reminder not to leave her room humming in her ears. Still, had she ever truly listened? Not really, except when the King was mad and that was because the King rarely got mad. She heard a carriage outside, probably the Prince and his family. Good, everyone was probably distracted. Smiling, she peeked outside her room and cautiously stepped into the hall. All was well until she heard a commotion and everyone coming upstairs. Heart pounding, she quickly went into the library near her room. She liked reading, so she should be able to spent the next few hours until dinner there.

((Maybe he can find her in there or something xD Sorry, I'm really tired and this is the only opening I could think of)

The prince smoothed out his mulberry colour blazer coat and matching trousers. His bags were unpacked by the servants, and put away. He had been left to look round himself and was instructed not to enter the door that was the princess'. Since having only half an hour he decided to look around quickly. He staid to the top floor looking round in the rooms where doors were open or labelled as a room for entertainment.

Twenty minutes into his walk the prince found the library. He knew this as the ten minute dinner bell had been rung. A good place to spend the last ten minutes. He stretched, rolling his shoulder blades causing the ruffles to straighten in his white shirt. He corrected them as he walked round to see the books that were on the shelves. He walked along not wanted to pick a book out now, but to know the options he had when he went to have his evening read.

Mina closed the library door behind her softly and quickly circled the grand room with bookshelves. She gathered three or four books, each one about fairy tales or myths. She liked being able to escape reality, the dinner, and the betrothed. She went to her favorite spot, a window seat that gave her an overview of the kingdom. She brushed back the curtain, letting the light in. It was that time where it was summery in the mornings and cooler in the evenings. She set the books on the window seat and sat down next to them, picking the dark blue binded book on top. She had only gotten to page ten when the library door opened once more. However, she did not notice the footsteps that seemed to come nearer and nearer until the prince was near enough to see her, that she could feel herself being watched. She paused, tensed, and glanced up. Her gaze was surprised, innocent, and guarded. "...Hello," she finally said after a few seconds of eternal silence.

(Sorry for the delay.)

Dominic walked til he saw light from an opened curtained. Something that was lone producing bright light in the room. Walking over he saw a young women, younger than him definitely. The royal blue and gold she adorned on her more than perfectly made dress gave the clue to who she was. It had been a minute now and the man had not realised he had been staring at her this whole time though the bookshelf.

As Mina spoke he realised she had noticed him. Dom moved out into the small walk way free of books and bowed.

"Hello," he spoke deeply and assured, the embarrassment of being caught staring not showing through his words. "for give me, I had not meant to stare. I believed I was in her alone." He rose and watched the sitting lady her age he still could not guess not that he needed to. The girl seemed young to him. "I am Prince Dominic the second of England and Wales. May I ask who it is that I am talking to?"
