The Thundering Mustelid
In the beginning All of matter and energy was born out of a force later called the Genesis Wave. Eventually this energy and matter formed planets and stars, which formed life. However it wasn't until the first sentient life was Born that the Trinity Was Created. The Trinity consisted of three Primordial gods of nigh limitless power. Thea Goddess of life, Idris God of Death, and Axiom God of Rebirth. Thea Grew to Rule over the material world, while Idris chose Limbo, and Axiom chose the Otherworld as their realms. For Nearly 50,000 years the three maintained harmony and civilization was born. With it came several Changes. First Thea Vanished, Leaving the Material world to Mankind. Then came Idris Developing a relationship with the soul of the mortal queen of Atlantis. The queen eventually fell victim to an assault from the first demon. Idris in his grief and under the realization that mankind had grown too numerous for him to tend alone decided to shatter himself into several thousand shards. This left Axiom alone for nearly 1000 years as he trained his successor Tobi. Finally about 5000 years Ago Axiom Left and Tobi became the New Spirit King. In his first millennia Tobi Created The great cities of the otherworld, Added physics, Day and night Cycles, portals to anywhere, Alternate dimensions for combat, and a fair money system based off of his own spirit energy. The end result is the afterlife we have today, a mirror image of the living world, but with much more knowledge, freedom, and time...

With Axiom Leaving the crown to Tobi the Last of the Original trinity was left behind and a New trinity began. The Reaper Corps began overnight replacing Idris, Tobi Took well to the Crown replacing Axiom, And Eventually the Elder spirits of the Afterlife Banded together forming the Elder council replacing Thea...

The Palace of Tobi Serves many Purposes. It emits light acting as the other worlds sun. It contains Tobi's Massive Spiritual Energy that would otherwise destroy the souls of Otherworld but most importantly it is the Palace that holds the only Reincarnation Gate, allowing for certain worthy souls to be reincarnated.

The Hall of Elders hold the Oldest of souls, some from up to 50,000 years ago. These elders are the actual governing body of the Afterlife. They pass judgement on the dead sending them to one of the three layers of the afterlife based on their sins or virtues in life. Though Reapers, and Tobi rival the elders in power, their influence is second only to their wisdom and Even Tobi heeds their words.

Unlike in the material world, the population of the Afterlife is always growing with nothing to stem said growth. As such they hold a population of over a hundred billion. Due to this eternal growth Tobi, and the Elders council started the Eternal construction initiative. Which has caused the Afterlife to grow eternally both downwards as new subterranean chambers are made each year to house the wicked and new Floating islands levitate into the air becoming the Dwelling places of the righteous.

The Shape of the realm is a mirror of earth, However in his realm both the sun and moon (Tobi's Palace & The Reapers Fortress.) are the same size and revolve 10000 kilometers above the surface of the world on opposite sides this is the highest point in the Afterlife, there is nothing beyond the palaces.

7,000 kilometers down you begin to reach the Heavenly Isles. These floating Islands of which there are thousands are each created By either Axiom or Tobi. Each one is a secluded paradise created for a truly virtuous soul. These Isles cannot be entered without permission from the occupant.

Just below the Heavenly Isles at 982 kilometers up we have the City of Magos. The highest citing city it is constantly booming with parties, parades, and any form of entertainment imaginable. The city it self holds 14 million souls, the lowest population among all cities. However it has the second largest visitor population with over a billion souls arriving each week.

This is the Domain of the Cruel, The Selfish, and the Willfully ignorant. Even though they Cannot die, souls that dwell here must deal with a lack of portal Hubs, several ton Falling boulders, And The Dreg not to mention they run the risk of falling into The End.

Finally well below the Crust where the earths mantle and core would be we Find The end. The end is a several hundred mile wide sphere of water. Islands of Garbage and Waste Dot its surface, offering Homes for those unlucky enough to find themselves here. The Alternative is to Dwell within the Mind boggling Chaos that is the Living City of Hysteria. This winding polluted city where physics doesnt exist, and the city itself will torment you unless you work to build it larger. Yet nothing anyone builds can satisfy the city. It is the second worst place for a being to dwell.

The Pillars of Sin, this is the spot reserved for the most wicked of souls. Evil so dark it inspires nightmares and fuels insanity. If sentenced here , the prisoner will spend eternity Shackled in utter Silent Cold Darkness. The island Itself hovers 9,900 kilometers above the earths surface, just below the Reapers Fortress.

There are many forms the soul can take post mortem. From the Common Spirit, To demons and Everything in between. To make it easier i will list the Races in two categories. Playable Races & non-playable races.

Playable races

Medium: Humans who have undergone a near death experience often times gain psychic awareness of the other dimensions. Strong mediums can often form bonds with powerful beings. It is Rumored that there is a medium on earth currently who is bonded with Tobi. Mediums who die often find themselves to be very powerful Spirits or poltergeists.

Spirit: A soul that has shed its mortal form. This is technically the most stable form of a soul and holds the perk of being Indestructible. (Though a few exceptions apply.) however while its impossible to destroy a spirit, it is very possible to change it into something else, in fact all other races in this list are mutated forms of a Spirit.

Poltergeist: When a Soul is outside of its body for 12 days or more they become a Poltergeist. The transformation is hard to survive as it morphs all of the Spirit energy in the Body into psychic energy. Poltergeists are far more than one would think from recorded experience. Poltergeists are actually trapped on limbo usually tethered to a specific spot, person, or object. However their telekinetic power is enough to pierce the veil of dimensions and interacting with either the material or spiritual realm. Though most avoid contact with the spiritual realm.

Vampire: When a human Soul has been removed from its body and returned. The time removed must be no less than 8 hours, and no more than 3 days. Afterwards the spirit seems to change. Decaying slightly and gaining the Magical properties associated with vampire legends. However their weaknesses are boldface lies created to give vampire hunters trouble. Sunlight and loud noises bother their superhuman senses creating the nocturnal myth. The same is true of Garlic which offends their nostrils as any foul smell would. The only way to truly kill a vampire is to stab them in the heart and leave the obstruction there so they cannot regenerate. Or decapitate them and keep the head seperate. The effectiveness of religious symbols depends entirely on the vampires faith before turning.

Reaper: When a Soul is found worthy a piece of Idris the Reaper will slam into their soul like a light speed bullet. The spirit is shattered, knocked out of reality into a realm called reaper boot-camp. Here their spirit energy is consumed and Turned into Reaper energy , otherwise known as Nyx. This energy fuels the reapers tremendous power which they use to slay all manner of mutated spirits. Their ability to traverse dimensions at will makes them remarkably dangerous to all other forms of unlife.
