I would actually be quite interested in joining this rp, but I have a couple of questions if you don't mind my asking.
The first is pretty trivial, but it seems a good idea to ask before you get applicants: Is there a particular character skeleton/sheet you want us to fill out, or should we just create our own which fulfill the basic requirements, name, age, et cetera.
The second is a little bit more technical, regarding the world itself, or galaxy perhaps to be more correct: Are there any significant events which have happened recently, or are happening right now that we should know about, such as wars for example. This is more of a question I think might help people make a character better, myself certainly included.

Chris is part of one of the military's shadow programs. Being genetically engineered from conception he is a top fighter. He is a "gen 3" and is only one of 68 surviving members of the gen 3 section. While it is generation 3, the generations are not identical in training or even purpose in that gen 6's who deal with information processing and analysis are usually older than gen 3 operatives. Despite their success there has been only one section if gen 3's created.

Personality: Colt loves everything about engineering and history. He's crazy about old machinery, but also loves building new high tech stuff such as a hover board. He has ADHD, so he gets a little wild at times, but in a good way. He also grew up in a colony full of thugs, mobs, and the assorted lot. Needless to say, Colt isn't an expert shot, but he can hold his own in a fight. When it comes to women, he's a hopeless romantic.
History (You can put It here or slowly reveal it in RP): Origins will be revealed as the rp goes on. He did go to an academy for mechanical engineering and theoretical physics.

Can Also have someone say... I dont know... In a smaller craft out in space sending a distress signal, said craft is hours/minutes/seconds away from cataclysmic meltdown, our crew can... you know... go in... pull them out... and then they can be taken to port/recruited on the spot?
