Kahn hung upside down from a tree, fixed onto it with his legs. Biting an apple, he looked around at the grassy hills around him, accompanied by the tall buildings of the city just a mile or two away. He pulled his earbuds out, glancing towards Murdz, and said the magical words that would change their lives forever:


"I'm hungry."


(There's lots of different ways to do this. Some people prefer third person, others first person. Some prefer typing in present, some in past. I prefer third-person-past, but I'm used to doing pretty much everything.)

Murdz sat down under the tree enjoying the shade agreeing with kahn


"So where we going?..."

Kahn dropped his apple onto Murdz's head, shrugging and saying, "Iunno. I'm just hungry for..."


He stopped for a moment, and thought. "Let's get pizza." As an afterthought, he added, "I don't have money."
