Checker Isn't the first person that comes to mind when it comes to the Hunger Games. Checker is soft. He hates the thought of violence, but has been forced to live with it his entire life. He's the type of person who thinks that Humor is like a first aid kit. Always there, and will be able to fix the injury. Checker struggles sometimes, always in a head to head battle with his brother, a past winner of the games. He's always trying, but almost never makes it. Checker will always be there to help people, even if they don't want it. A trait that won't be helping him anytime soon. When he sees something he knows isn't right, he will always be the one standing up for it.Even if he's standing alone. While Checker does seem like the nicest person in the world, he does care about survival.He's smart, and knows when to step out or run away for his safety.


Bio:


As stated earlier, Checker has had to live with violence early in his life. When he was twelve, and his brother was fourteen his mom was killed by peacekeepers after an attempt to escape the district. Soon after, his brother was selected for the games. After getting every stroke right, his brother won the love of many and gathered dozens of sponsors with ease. He won the games, and has since been at heads with his little brother. Checker was almost always out of the spotlight, trailing in his brothers footsteps.When he was fifteen, his father was sent to court and punished with the penalty of death.His father followed in the footsteps of his mother and attempted to escape the district. Checker had no choice but to live with his brother.Now, his brother was given full control. With a controlling brother, two dead parents, and one last chance, checker needed to prove himself to the district.Play the game.

To sum it up in one word? Sharp.She's ruthless, smart, evil, and bulletproof all packed into one fourteen year old girl. She's like a bullet. Fast, painful, and always makes a mess. Always finishing what she starts. Lemon's always there to make her presence clear. She might be young, but what she lacks in age, she makes up for in craziness. She's always been fascinated by the though of death.Death, and committing it against others. While she maybe fast and furious (Heheh) She's highly impulsive. She acts on her gut, an her gut isn't always right. She's one to make quick impressions. Lemon's also self conscious, she lives to look good for the cameras, and the mirrors.

Bio:


Lemon was born to a broken family. Her mother was a constant drunk, her father died months before she was born, and her sister was a jealous maniac. Almost constantly, her sister would tease and bully her because of the love she never got. Lemon has since been obsessive over her looks.


In school, Lemon was praised for her tremendous speed. She's broken the school record for fastest 80 meter dash. Despite this, her sisters hate grew and grew. With that, Lemon's insecurity grew and grew. Her mother, almost always being drunk, never paid attention to her bullying.


A few weeks before the reaping, Lemon's sister was murdered by a group of delinquents. Despite her sister's death, Lemon still felt desperate and terrorized by her sisters words.

Remus is the definition of a wild child. He is the lethal mixture of curious, mischievous, and smart. Something he isn't afraid to show, as his victims know. He is very adventures and sometimes reckless and can usually be caught trying things that most wouldn't dare. Often he can be caught climbing three the trees or on top of anything he can exploring, playing, or observing.


To most he is energetic and reckless with a mischievous mind that's always working and planning, yet, none can deny he is clever and smart. He is cheerful, rarely without a smile, yet guarded always watching out for danger even when he seems completely unguarded. In fact some will argue that's when he's at his most lethal. Ready for anything that may come.


At the end of the day though he is kind and caring. Something only his friends and family really know. He will not hesitate to help others to the best of his ability. Well.. unless you hurt his family then the claws come out and his heart go's cold.


Bio:


It was a stormy night when Remus parents met. His mother had just broken off with her fiancee and was taking a walk. That's, when she stumbles upon his dad as he was taking his own walk, or rather into him. After lots of apologies they had dinner together and the rest was history. A few years later they loved in a small hut and were poor but happy. Then Remus was born and from the moment he opened his wide curious eyes they knew he was different.


Five years later and he was proving them right. He loved to cause trouble and play games, ones that showed how smart he was. Often he could be found trailing people that he planned to prank. Watching them, observing their personalities, without their knowledge, then when he learned all he could he strikes. Next thing they knew they were covered in mud and feathers. By the time he was nine the only person he hadn't pranked was his mother, who always seemed to know what he was planning.


This didn't change when he finally began helping in the forest a year later. In fact some will say the moment he was allowed into the forest was the moment he found his true battle grounds. There even his mother eventually got pranked. Of course the peacekeepers weren't aware of this as he made sure they never even knew it happened and it's not like anyone would ever tell. The years passed and he survived many reapings with jittery nerves and crossed fingers. After his first reaping he began training. He figured if he was ever going to need to fight for his life he should have the skills to do so.

Personality: At first Glance, Tirra just looks like your average girl living in the districts, And in a way she is. But Tirra is stronger than most around her. Not in strength, but in emotions. She has dealt with a lot from a young age, but this has only made her stronger. Due to the hardships from her childhood, Tirra in unable to trust people, as she feels she will be betrayed as she once was. She tends to keep to herself, And only Look out for her. Tirra is not always the brightest, but she knows how to survive. She is quite stubborn, and often gets confused as a boy due to her short hair. Coming from district 4, Tirra is an abled swimmer, and knows how to fish. Knowing very little about plants and hunting, Tirra is only going to be able to kill others for food or fish. Tirra is mostly skilled in ranged combat. Her Best chance would be in the trees.


Bio: When Tirra was little, she'd always be teased for looking like a boy. Everyone, even her parents, would laugh at her. When she was 10 her parents abandoned their only child and left her to fend for herself. Finding small bits of work anywhere she can, Tirra managed to barely scrape by. As soon as she turned 14 she put her name in more times.

Being from a career district, there was always places to train for the games. Although Tirra had no interest in the games, she decided it would be Best to find a way to defend herself against others. Leaning quite quickly how to throw a knife, it became her sole offensive means. At the age of 16, after years of learning how to throw knives, Tirra was called up in the reaping. Feeling she had at least a chance, Tirra just smiled the whole time. Wanting to escape from her district, she was happy to participate. Maybe she can win the games and be bathed in victory.

Alyssa, mostly referred to as Ally, or Ally Cat; is a intelligent young girl, determined to get what she wants, when she wants. She will always see things the way she thinks they are, and not take any care for others points of view. She is often quiet and shady, keeping away from the public and avoiding social life. Unlike most girls or guys alike, she cares for no one, romantically of course. She remains unattached to others around her, rarely speaking to them. Sometimes if someone greets her she will respond with a few words, but will soon find a way to escape the conversation. Ally doesn't fear much, there are those few things that she cannot stand. Unlike someone else who has more fears than her, who experience a lesser fear of that fear, the lesser the fears she has increases the fear of her fears. When it comes to intelligence and strategy she knows quite a bit, which can be useful at times. At other times, not so much. She is also strong willed, as strong willed as her father. She will do what ever it takes to accomplish what she has set for herself, and no matter how long it takes her, she will succeed eventually.




Bio:

At the age of 11 her mother mysteriously disappeared, leaving her with her father and three brothers. She was alone, the only girl in her family. She was the oldest of the four siblings including her, making her responsible for taking care of them when her father was busy working in the mines. She was constantly worried for him, for is safety and well-being. After many accidents previously life was taking it's toll on her father, and he was soon to retire if anything happened down there. Unfortunately that accident had happened. There was a misfire in the explosives, and her father was blown to bits. She didn't even attend his funeral, let alone let anyone inside their home to share their grief. Her brothers remained attached to the outside world years later the accident, but Ally wasn't. She remains isolated from everyone and everything, until the day of hate and dread. The day two young adults would be sent to their death. The Hunger Games.

Adelina craves to feel a connection with others and lend a helping hand. She has the ability to put herself in another person's shoes, making most of her bonds with people loving and harmonious. Although her outer shell seems shy and quiet, Adelina is curious and outgoing in many ways. Her curiosity seems to get the best of her most of the time, and she finds herself searching for things that are unknown.


The strongest out of all of her traits is Adelina's determination and pride. She will work hard for the things that are important to her, and will never give up no matter what. Even if it's a situation where her life is on the line to save another. Adelina shows love and care differently to different people. There are always some who manage to anger her, which is a rare sight. But if someone is getting in the way of her accomplishments, she won't be so sweet.

Biography

Adelina was born into a small family; a mother and a brother. She never knew her father, and it is unknown even to this day about his disappearance. As everyone else did, Adelina learned to fear the dreaded Hunger Games in her own way. But that fear only grew when her older brother was sent to the arena. She listened to an old radio announcing the news of the games day and night, hoping his name wouldn't be on the death list. Adelina prepared herself for both the best and the worst.


When the cannon was fired and his name was called out, she changed dramatically into a different person. It was a day she wanted to forget, but never could. For the rest of her childhood, she was reserved and isolated. Her mother would often ask why she was this way, even after many years had passed since her brother's death. Adelina could never muster up an answer.


It wasn't until her adolescent years that Adelina began to open up. Unfortunately, her mother died before she could see her daughter blossom into a happier person. After her mother died, Adelina took on responsibilities most adults in her district were amazed by. She took care of herself and others as much as she could. When it was time for the reaping ceremony, Adelina's name was called and she was officially a tribute. She slowly began to revert back to her old self; quiet and soft-spoken, until she believed it was the right time to open up again.

Because of this, she is very social. Unfortunately for her, she isn't very good at handling weapons. The only time she had ever even held a weapon was when she was cooking dinner and the kitchen knife broke. Instead, she had to use a dagger. Although she has done this, Alex is still useless with a dagger. She is used to being around a group of people because she had 6 sisters and 3 brothers. She can be over-dramatic at times, but that's only because she likes attention. Being the oldest of 9 other siblings, Alex is kindhearted and used to being around children. Overall, Alex is a confident, kindhearted teenager who loves attention and is useless with a weapon.


Bio: Alex is the oldest of 6 sisters and 3 brothers. She is one of the only child in that family that isn't a twin/triplet. Lets look at this in more detail...

They were called Franklin (nicknamed Franky), Richard (nicknamed Ricky) and Michel (nicknamed Micky). The three trouble makers always looked up at Alex, even though she was only a year older than them. By the time she was 3, her parents had another child, Carlina. She was known to her older brothers and sister as Carly. Carly became best friends with Alex (but not for long). They did everything together, from gathering berries in the forest to playing on the streets. 10 months later, the first set of twins arrived. They were both female, and were called Molly and Milie. These two kept themselves to themselves. Alex didn't really hear much of them, as they were always off doing something. There was a large gap in time were nothing much happened. Then, when Alex was 14, another set of twins were born. They were called Lila and Lesa. This was about the time Alex found out what Molly and Milie were doing. They were robbers. Ruses mother desired nothing more then for her daughter's to be ladies. She gained that from her eldest but Ruse was a different matter. From the moment she could process the world around her Ruse proudly showed how different she was. Her stubbornness is a trait many know of. She does not give up easily and refuses to bend to anyone's will. This disappointed her mother but after a while Ruse stopped caring.


Ruse is a tomboy, she loves to fight and play in the mud, but she isn't stupid. In fact despite some reckless moments she is very clever and quick to catch on. Something well noticed by those that seen her learn to fight. Yet, her strong will and heart sometimes lead her into trouble. Though she always manages to get out of it somehow. Ruse desires nothing more then to be strong and clever. If only so she can protect those she cares about. She is loyal to the core and unforgiving toward those that cross her. Plus, when her buttons are pushed you will find she is very merciless.


Bio:


Ruse is the youngest daughter of the mayor of district twelve and one of five siblings, she was the middle child. Growing up she never went without much, as being the daughter of the mayor had it's perks, yet found herself displeased anyway. Her eldest brother and two younger brothers were secretly taught by their father to fight and at seven when Ruse discovered it, found she wanted to learn how.


It took some time but after much begging and being caught secretly training herself her father relented and soon she found herself sparring once the sun set. She has never been happier. Then three years later her older brother by six years, Rodrick, was reaped at fifteen. Two days after the games began and he died. Realizing her father's training wasn't enough Ruse began seeking another teacher. One who would not take it easy on her because she is their daughter. A few months later she found one in a man that never gave his name. She was wary of trusting him but eventually conceded and found herself glad she did.


The man taught her to fight, blend in, and lie. These are skills she found herself practicing more everyday as her father grew more suspicious. Once her name was called on that faithful reaping she realized those skills may save her life. If she doesn't survive her only regret is that she still had so much to learn.
