The year is 19■■ and a small group of ■■■■■ find themselves in a precarious situation, with no memory of who each other were, where they were, how they got their, or even their own identities. They find the only attachment of their pasts they can vaguely recall after being thrown into a war against beings that defy reason that they may or may not have started.
With all the horrors and bouts of insanity coming their way, an even greater evil is closing in. One so destructive, powerful, and enigmatic, that even it's name can cause disasters in it's wake. To look upon it is to forfeit your sanity, and to fight it is to forfeit your life. However, while regaining their memories, and a little something extra, these ■■■■ must stop the coming of ■■■■■.
Will they succeed, will they die? Will they suffer an even worse fate? What happened to their memories, and is regaining them a gift, or a curse? Can you save a world when you don't know yourself?
Normally, here I'd tell you rules about what kind of bios you can use.
I won't do that, because bios won't be needed.
You don't tell me who you are, because you don't know who you are.
Your name
Your age
Your gender
Your past and skills
You know nothing.
As the story progresses, and you know the basics of your character (which you learn as they become relevant, or through flash backs) I will give you bios, and the real fun will begin.
Don't check my favorites or blogs, they aren't there~
Three to five spots will be open, and I will require an example of how you rp.
Rule:
No Godmoddingg: You only control yourself. No other person, not even NPC.
No asking for alterations to the rp, including your own identity: If you need to be able to pick who or what you are, this is not the rp for you. Some flash backs will allow you to make choices, but other than that, you're stuck as whoever you are.
When struck by madness, don't be stupid: sometimes, you will be rendered momentarily insane. I'll give you a psychosis, and your character will be forced to act it out until it fades. Don't ignore it, don't add to it.
Death is a possibility: We are a group of humans who are way over our heads. One slip up can result in death, even when we are in a good situation. I will not Deus Ex Machina anyone, unless it's for story purposes.
Don't act on assumptions: it's ok to ask me questions at any point, I prefer it that way. A 'Stupid' is infinitely better than a stupid action.
Don't try the impossible: if you do, you'll fail at the attempt, and it will not end well.
Make sense: when interacting with enemies, don't pick the most fortuitous outcome, but the one that makes sense.
