The Divine Hero
Arlux

Name:
Arlux, The Divine Hero
Race:
Human
Status:
Deceased

Arlux never thought that she would be chosen by a god, but then again, a hero often never expects to be chosen to defeat a greater evil. Before Tiryan's conquest began, Arlux was a regular knight of Kalmar. She was exactly what every Kalmar knight aspired to be; kindhearted and gentle to the people around her, but strong and courageous when the situation called for it. She was beloved in the towns that she frequented, and didn't concern herself with trying to move up the ranks, she wanted to be a knight, to serve and protect the people of Kalmar.

So when word of Tiryan's invasions began, Arlux would be amongst the first to personally volunteer herself to support the war effort against Olrodia at the front lines. Thus, Arlux rode out with the first Kalmarian armies that went to assist in the suppression of Tiryan's conquest. Nothing could have prepared her for the fight that would soon ensue. Kalmar's army, being lead by one of the round table knights, arrived at the front lines as reinforcements, and engaged the hellish beasts and soldiers to support the defending countries army. Arlux fought with all her might, cutting down beast after beast with surprising efficiency. But even if she was able to hold her own, the same could not be said about her comrades, who fell one by one, until only Arlux, and a handful of knights remained.

At this time, Arlux truly believed that she was going to die in this battle. She had exhausted her mana, and could barely lift her own sword up, much less swing it. It was at this moment, that Arlux would hear a woman's voice in her head, and it would feel like everything around her was moving at a snails pace. A woman descended from the sky, and stood right in front of Arlux, her eyes glowed an unnatural golden color.

"Child born in the light, I see your struggle against evil, and I, Goddess of the dawn, offer you a choice. Accept my power, and become a hero, or die, let your comrades die as well." The Goddess said with a smile that sent chills down Arlux's spine. She had heard the stories of the heroes of the past, but she never expected someone like her to be chosen as the next generation of heroes that were to destroy this second coming of the Crimson Emperor.

Arlux accepted, and the goddess of light placed her hand unto Arlux's sword. "Then I, Aurora, Goddess of light and dawn hereby accept you as my hero! Go forth, and use my power to annihilate evil!" The goddess said proudly, disappearing into the newborn hero's sword. Time began to flow normally for Arlux, and using her new god given powers, Arlux singlehandedly destroyed the opposing force, and was the savior of that battle.

After this moment, Arlux's life would take a complete 180, she'd meet her mentor, a hero called Guō Yī Nuò, who would teach her how to properly use Aurora's power. She'd rally all the heroes she could find, and would lead them to many victories against Tiryan and his demonic magic. With a more organized group of heroes, the remaining allied countries would reach a point where they could storm Olrodia's capital, and take out Tiryan once and for all. And that's exactly what they did, a combined attack was launched, with Arlux leading the battle with her band of heroes.

But unfortunately, it wouldn't be enough, for while all of Tiryan's beasts, soldiers, and even his most elite soldiers known as the 7 hands were defeated, when it came to taking him down, Arlux was unable to succeed, and ultimately, would lose her life during the final conflict...
Emperor of Olrodia
Tiryan III

Name:
Emperor Tiryan III
Race:
Human(?)
Status:
Alive

The Emperor of the Olrodia Empire, Tiryan, the man who killed the strongest hero of his time, Arlux. As a young boy, Tiryan III was fascinated with the legendary hero who founded the then kingdom, Solomon the giant. He’d sit by the fire, and demand that he’d be read the same story of Solomon and his fight against the Crimson Emperor. He aspired to be looked up to, to be loved just like Solomon was.

Then at the age of 12 Tiryan’s father, Tiryan II was assassinated alongside his mother, Meredith. This death devastated young Tiryan, but what made it worse was knowing that the death came from none other than one of the maids who had not only taken care of the late king and queen, but Tiryan himself. When he asked why she did it, she responded with, “You’ve spent your whole life in the castle, you know nothing of the filth that is this kingdom.” Confused, since all Tiryan had heard from his father was that the kingdom was prosperous and rich, Tiryan asked why she didn’t kill him.
I wanted you to live, and experience what it’s like to suffer, as we have.” the maid cackled, as if all sanity had left the woman.

A few days later, the maid was publicly executed, and young Tiryan was made king. Despite the killer of his parents being dead, he was still broken, but he was curious, curious to why the maid who had raised him would turn on him in the way he did. So he decided to take a tour of Olororodia, and was horrified by what he saw. The entire country was stricken with poverty, and disease plagued every corner that could be seen. The country was dying, and the people were violently angry with the royal family for not doing anything to help them. When Tiryan returned to the palace, he immediately began to make changes to the kingdom. He used the vast amount of wealth hoarded by the royal family to rebuild the slums of the royal city, and then made multiple public libraries, and schools, restored farmlands and paid farmers to ensure that they’d grow more food.

Tiryan pulled the kingdom out of poverty, and the people loved him for it. But despite his success, despite the praise he received, Tiryan still wasn’t satisfied, because he could see people suffering all over, not just in Olrodia, but all over the place. So he decided that he would take matters into his own hands, and turned the kingdom of Olrodia, into the Olrodian Empire, with the plan of conquering the world in order to achieve true peace.

Guō Yī Nuò

Name:
Guō Yī Nuò
Race:
Moon Elf
Status:
Alive

Guō Yī nuò, unwillingly nicknamed Popo, is a hero with almost as much notoriety as Arlux. Her patron god is Baihu, the white tiger, one of the four auspicious beasts of Zheng Fa. Even before being blessed by the white tiger, Yī nuò’s combat ability was through the roof, with 90 years of experience under her belt.

When the allied forces began to form, and the heroes of the world started to rally, Yī Nuò gave most of the heroes guidance and training to hone there newly obtained divine powers, and is seen as the reason why Arlux was as powerful as she ended up being.
Guō Yī nuò is extremely down to earth and quite lovely to be around, despite being an old elf. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, and sees her fellow heroes more as just extended family, who sometimes need to be bailed out of sticky situations.

Guō Yī nuò killed hundreds of Tiryan's soldiers and monsters during the final battle, and was able to narrowly escape capture after the death of Arlux, and the ultimate defeat of the allied forces.

Parzival the Lost

Vampire
Role
|
7 Hands of the Emperor (DECEASED)
Affiliation
|
Olrodia
Description
One of the hands of the emperor, a vampire who's spent his entire life honing his swordsmanship . Parzival’s face has only ever been seen by Emperor Tiryan, as he wears a silver helmet that covers most of his head, only allowing his silver hair to spill out from the back. He wears a black feather cloak, and under that a black trench coat. Not much is known about the swordsman, only that he's been alive for a long, long time, long enough to see the world undergo massive changes, and long enough to watch his own race slowly be extinguished over reasons outside of their control.
They're are even rumors circulating about, claiming that before serving Tiryan, Parzival actually hunted his own kin, having lost his mind after being alive for so long. Other's theorized that he hadn't lost his mind, but instead killed vampires as a form of mercy, but in truth, nobody truly knows his past, or his reasoning...

Parzival now rests in the snowy forests of Jorvik, finally reunited with his lover, and friends.

Strengths
Parzival is an extremely skilled swordsman with centuries of experience under his belt. He's mastered the ability to manipulate his own blood, as well as finding creative ways to manipulate the blood of others after it's exited they're bodies. His Cloak can also allow him to not only transform into a murder of crows, but also dodge potentially life ending attacks
Weaknesses
Parzival is a solid fighter, but he isn't without his weaknesses. Ranged attacks work exceptionally well at keeping him at bay, and as a vampire, Parzival's is incredibly weak to fire, and light magic.

Hargred the dragonborne
Race
|
Dragon
Role
|
7 Hands of the Emperor (Formerly)
Affiliation
|
Olrodia
Description

One of the Hands of the Emperor, Hargred is the only dragon to serve the Emperor. In a series of unfortunate events, the Emperor found Hargred’s mother, and murdered her in order to claim her 3 eggs. Tiryan took care of the eggs until they hatched, and nurtured his three “children'' to the best of his ability, teaching them dragon magic, and shapeshifting. Tiryan had them indoctrinated from a young age, and made sure that they were brainwashed in order to ensure that they’d never betray the empire. Once they grew old enough, he forced the dragon children to fight each other to the death, as a way to find out who was the strongest dragon. Hargred himself didn't want to fight, but was left with no choice, slaughtering the only family he had left in order to live. Hargred has repressed the memory, and has no recollection of said battle happening.

Despite being trained to kill whoever Tiryan tells him to, Hargred is not a violent soul. He is a young dragon, and extremely curious about the world around him, often being distracted by how soft the grass underneath is, or fascinated by the multitude colors that can be found in a field of flowers. Once upon a time, he served his "father" without question, but the longer he spends his time with the heroes, he begins to wonder if he's on the right side of history. He doesn't know where life will take him, all he knows is that he will no longer blindly follow anyone, and will give his life to defend the new family he was blessed with.
Strengths
For a young dragon, Hargred is quite the anomaly. He wields powerful dragon magic that rivals that of a dragon 130 years older than himself, and has been seen brushing off powerful magic attacks like they are nothing. Even in his humanoid form, Hargred knows how to perfectly utilize his body in order to defend himself, and defeat most adversaries with ease.
Weaknesses
While Hargred has had some of the best training available in Olrodia, at the end of the day, he has never had proper training for his draconic magic. Not only that, but due to his young age, Hargred is extremely naive, and is incredibly trusting, sometimes to his own detriment.

Ragnir Brynjolf
Race

Human
Role
|
King of Jórvik
Affiliation
|
Jorvik
Description
From the moment Ragnir was born, the path to take the throne was already laid out for him. But unlike everyone around him, Ragnir never had any interest in leading, instead, the only thing the young prince craved was violence. As soon as he was physically allowed, Ragnir trained with the other soldiers, finding his preferred weapon of choice to be the spear. As he grew, his craving for combat turned into anger, anger that wished to consume his enemies, and leave nothing but blood and death in its wake.

And then, Ragnir's father, and mother passed away.

A rival clan decided that the Brynjolf clan was no longer fit to rule Jorvik and launched a violent coup within the capital to overthrow the current leaders and take their self-proclaimed place. Ragnir had never fought with such rage and passion in his life, his spear shattering shields and bodies alike. But it wasn't enough to save his parent, and this fact alone was enough to change Ragnir's anger into one that would surely annihilate everything around him, friend or foe. But before he could act irrationally, he went to a local shaman, to see what his future had in store for him, should he go for his revenge. The shaman obliged to the request, and showed Ragnir what would happen should he let his rage blind him. The young man was met with a version of himself that made him shake in his boots. The thing that Ragnir looked at, wasn't even recognizable, it was a monster that only existed to kill. As he stared at this potential version of himself, that version turned it's head, and stared right back at him, a smile growing in his face, his eye trembling with insanity.

After visiting the Shaman, Ragnir knew at once that he could no longer live life like how he was. He no longer wanted to be a slave to his anger, and thus he went about changing his life for the better. Ragnir became the king of Jorvik, and went about rebuilding the capital. His violent tendencies tried to burst out, but instead of giving in, he resisted, and slowly, but surely, he changed. His anger subsided, and the Ragnir that everyone knew, transformed into someone they proudly could call their king.
Strengths
Ragnir is an exceptional spearman capable of taking out hordes of enemies with ease. He has several arts known as "Berserker" arts, which allow him to turn the tide of battle by his lonesome. His spear, Ginnungagap, is a relic from the isles that can pierce through anything no matter what it is.
Weaknesses
Ragnir is a strong presence on the battlefield, but has been seen to be extremally susceptible to dark magic.

Morgana the unforgiving
Race
|
Human
Role
|
7 Hands of the Emperor
Affiliation
|
Olrodia
Description
Secrets, secrets, secrets.

Morgana is well known for being a terrifyingly effective tactician and summoner. Her unorthodox strategies and willingness to take risks are what got her to the top of the magical world. What made people truly fear her, wasn't her summons or her tactics, but rather her uncanny ability to obtain ones deepest, darkest secrets.

Information, above all else, is more powerful than any other summon Morgana has to offer. She is a puppeteer, who uses her influence behind the scene in order to get exactly what she wanted to get.
Although she claims to support Tiryan in his vision of the world, many question if this is true, or rather a cover up for an alterative motive, using Tiryan as a means to an end.
Strengths
Morgana is an extremely talented summoner with an unnaturally large amount of mana at her disposal.

The extent of Morgana's arsenal is unknown, but what has been seen on the battlefield has been documented as well as possible.

Demonic Knight: A knight like creature that has black and red armor, and wings. It has extremely high durability, speed, and strength, and is commonly used as a body guard. While being a troublesome opponent, the knight has a massive pulsing mass on it's back. Attacking the mass causes massive damage to the knight, and forces it to become stationary until the mass is reformed.

Cudius Slug: A animal commonly found in the forests of Olrodia, that has the ability to make itself, and other objects it's in contact with, invisible. Morgana uses the slug to preform ambushes, but the summon by itself is just a regular critter that can be killed with a handful of salt.

"The Shifter": A mysterious, masked being, with dozens of hands. It has low durability, but is capable of teleporting a small group of people to a predetermined location.

Golroth: The legendary black dragon, capable of destroying entire cities with his fire breath. He has 0 known weaknesses, other than the large amount of mana he uses up in order to attack.

The Exalted one: An ancient abomination who leaves only chaos it it's wake. It has only been seen during a single battle, in which an Olrodian survivor gave his account of the summon. The soldier was the only living thing left on the battlefield, and described the summon as a force of nature, killing friend and foe alike, until it was called back into it's gem by Morgana.

Weaknesses
Even with the sheer amount of summons available to Morgana, she is still merely human, and is susceptible to physical, and magical attacks.
