Text Wrapping

Sometimes, when I copy and paste text into the post editor (even text from a RPN post), the text doesn't "wrap" like it normally does, and a horizontal scroll bar appears because the lines become longer than the "post box". Also, when this happens, if I move the text cursor to the end of the text and press the right arrow key, the text cursor becomes huge. When I post the text and this is happening, sometimes the post spills into a white space that extends beyond the normal posting area. It's fairly annoying in the post editor, but it's more of an issue when it messes up the actual posted content.

I only have a screenshot for the first two sentences, but I'm curious as to why this issue happens and how I can avoid it. If it helps, I am using Chrome 55 for Windows.

The black line is the text cursor.

The post editor is a very strict copy cat.  It will copy everything, down to the width of the post.  We do not know why it does that.  The staff team is aware of the formatting issues that occur when people copy and paste with the editor and are still looking for a cure.

Remove Format should fix it because it removes everything except the text itself. You'll have to go in and redo bold, italics, etc., but it will fix the post-stretching issue. It will also remove the colors, which is a good thing If you and your RP partners are using different themes (because it copies text and background colors).

Alright, thank you. I'll try that next time I face this.

If you have over 500 posts and can see the Source Button.

just click that, copy and paste the content you see and post it to a new page - you got to click source on the new page.

but that copies the formatting while it should prevent the stretch and copying of background etc.
